I wish I could rate a 0 my elderly mother has just got a taxi from aldi to go home the driver turned up and parked where she couldn't see her then when she did find find him proceeded to scream and shout at her in front of a load of people and belittled her and made her upset and then threw her shopping in the car the for her to get home and the driver then throws her shopping on the floor split her milk and then took a bag of her shopping just what an absolute joke of a company a few of the drivers are ok but majority are just discusting how the behave and speak to customers just a nasty company that we wont use again.and then you phone the office to complain and they person you speak to just dont care they are a joke

We booked a taxi for New Year’s Eve a week in advance I stated that we had a disabled person with us and to make sure they arrived on time as he can’t stand. Well guess what they turned up over an hour late. Phoned numerous times but kept saying it’ll be in 10 mins.
We were left out in the cold and wet for over an hour and when we got to our destination the driver dropped us off at the end of the street wouldn’t take us to our house
Failed to arrive
Booked a taxi for my daughter for New Years Eve for. After waiting an hour still no taxi and just a message saying it’s busy and we’ll prioritise you. She managed to get a lift home in the end. I had a call an hour and a half later from the office, I’m guessing to ask if we still wanted the taxi, but I was so annoyed, I told them she was home and put the phone down. I appreciate it’s busy but to have to wait an hour with not even a car allocated is ridiculous! If they can’t do the job, don’t take the booking! Won’t use again
What an absolutely disgraceful company
What an absolutely disgraceful company. New Year Booking. We PREBOOKED a taxi for 1am. The only time they would offer us. They didn’t turn up rang them numerous times they kept saying it’s on its way. Eventually I spoke to a nice guy. Who worked in their call center in Bristol an he admitted they have no control over their drivers. If there’s a quicker more profitable fare they take that. We eventually managed to flag down a UBER driver and offered him silly money and thankfully money talks. NEVER EVER USE DRAGON TAXIS
Very let down
Very let down, prebooked a taxi for New Years Eve for 00.30, no taxi turned up. Called the taxi firm who said they were busy and I should have a taxi within 10-15 mins. 30mins later still no taxi, called the firm again and was told it would be another 30-40min wait for a taxi. I explained I was on my own and my phone was about to die to which they said they were sorry and doing their best. I dont understand the point in being able to prebook a taxi to be told they're busy and I'd have to wait an hour and that's if its not postponed any longer.
I cancelled the taxi and the landlord of the pub was nice enougb to book me one with another firm that will be more reliable as my phone died.
How do they find this acceptable, if you prebook a taxi you expect it to turn up at the time it was booked for. This is very poor planning on the behalf of the taxi firm.
Abandoned on christmas day
Left me and my 9 month old child stranded on Christmas day for despite booking a month beforehand. Don't use this firm if you are depending on them turning up
Rubbish Service
Pre-Booked a taxi for my elderly parents to get home after a Xmas day meal at my house. Had a phone call from the company to say I needed to prepay which was fine and I duly paid up.
Sat waiting at the window for the taxi to turn up and after about 20 minutes received message saying it turned up, could not find us and left, total garbage 100% no show. They had my number so could have called to find out which house we were but didnt bother.
Called them straight after text asked them to send it back and I would stand outside so they could see me, apparently no longer in my area and I would have to make another prepayment for them to send another taxi.
Shameful!

Absolute joke. My wife pre booked and pre paid for a taxi. Dragon cancelled it last minute leaving my wife and 8 year old daughter stranded. If you can't fulfil a booking, don't take the booking. They could have sorted out alternative arrangements but because you accepted the booking in the 1st place, they didn't think they needed too. You should be ashamed. Also, saying you'll get a refund isn't an acceptable excuse.

From reading the reviews ots a standard story, told 5 minutes, waited 25 still nothing, excuses every time I rang, apprently they turned up despite the fact no car drove down the street. Why are they still getting licenses when they dont provide a minimum service or are even truthful.

Used the app for the first time today to pre book a taxi from Bridgend train station at 11.30 pm. I was there on time ...no sign of my taxi...no sign of any taxis. Waited until 11.45 then gave up and walked home. Using the app is clearly a waste of time - you just have to take your chances with everyone else at the taxi rank !!!

Booked a car two days in advance for 7.50. Needed to be at local for Christmas party & meal for 7.00. Car didn't turn up. Still getting we're busy messages at 7.25. Have had to drive, evening ruined. This company are either late or don't show at all. Will never use again. Absolute rubbish.
Don't rely on them
Prebooked at taxi to collect 7 people in Bridgend. App helpfully estimated the price and I booked. However they immediately took more than the estimated price from my account. Was slightly concerned but thought at least I had a guaranteed booking! Sadly it was not to be! Taxi was booked for 10pm. When I checked the app there was no driver allocated so rang to see when we could expect our taxi. At this point I was told that no driver had been allocated yet and that prebooking was not a guarantee of a taxi at the time expected, and that there wouldn't be a driver free for about 40 mins. After some discussion we were finally allocated a driver, but the app showed he was in Baglan and 25 mins away. Half an hour later, with the driver still showing as 25 mins away I rang back to see what was happening. The automated system told me our taxi would be another 30 mins, but the person I spoke to said it would only be another 10 mins. Meanwhile the app is still showing as driver being 25 mins away. Finally, we managed to organise someone to come and pick us up and I cancelled the taxi only to be told that the refund would take 7 or 8 days to process! So basically I had paid for a service that wasn't guaranteed and didn't arrive and had to wait for a refund? After some discussion my refund miraculously arrived a couple of minutes later. Do not rely upon this company. A booking does not mean you will get a cab. Its no better than waiting at a taxi rank. It's next to useless.

Booked through the Pontypool office to meet the train at New Inn Station. Rang 5 times to be assured it was on its way and apologies for its lateness. Ok it happens.I was then rung by a private number which hung up when I answered. The booking then disappeared from the App. When I rang the office they said because I didn't answer the call they cancelled it. I did answer the call, If I wanted to cancel the fare I which I had plenty of reason to do (over an hour late at this point) I would have done on the app. Don't rely on this company, they lie, don't communicate what's going on and provide a poor service in general. My advice.. use Uber!
Told me they would be 4 minutes and arrived an hour and a half later.
Told me my taxi would be 4 minutes, after 40 minutes and several calls and texts later, all of which told me my call was being prioritised, I got an Uber and cancelled the call. I was home when the Dragon driver called me an hour after I had booked the ride to say he was on his way. He told me he had only just been given the job. I told him I had cancelled the taxi. Half an hour later I got a call to say my taxi had arrived. Worst taxi service I have ever attempted to use, and being repeatedly lied to did nothing to make me feel this was a one off. Reading the other reviews makes me wonder how they stay in business.

Well reading the reviews here it’s a wonder they are still in business. Let me add mine.
Ordered taxi and paid in advance. Taxi did show up but because I was a few minutes late they classed it as a no show. The driver did take me home 2 miles down the raid but! He insisted I paid again for the trip as he said the money hadn’t gone through so I ended up paying twice for the same journey £14 quid for two miles??!! Total rip off.

If i could give no stars i would!! Pre-paid for a taxi over 1 hour before i wanted it. Took the money no problem. 25 mins after it was due and while i was stood in freezing temperatures called them to find out where my taxi was. Said they were sorry and very busy and the taxi would be with me 30 to 45 minutes later. That would have made it 1 hour and 10 minutes late. Considering i had to catch a train at a certain time what did sorry mean to me. Guy on the phone didn't sound like he gave a toss. They've done this to me before when i needed to get a train to Heathrow Airport and in the end i had to run over to a neighbour and get them to rush me to the train station to catch my train otherwise i would have missed my flight. They didn't give a toss then either. Well this is the last time i ever use this crappy company. I'll stick with a reliable taxi firm from now on, one that actually cares about the service it provides. If i was someone looking for a taxi that turns up whenever they like or not at all even when paid for then this is the taxi company for you but if your like me then avoid these like the plague.
Thanks Dragon Taxis for possibly the worst service i've ever received and good luck for the future as i'm sure the more people you pee off the less business you'll get before you finally go out of business which can't happen soon enough.
Shocking pre-paid service (waited ages)
We ordered a taxi and paid one week in advance. We rang three times as the taxi was late. It took over 45 mins for the taxi to finally arrive at the location. Really poor service. Use another taxi company!
Worst Taxi Service
I've found this to be the worst taxi service. They didn't pick me up when my taxi was booked leaving me stranded. It's also happened to many others I've spoken to.
I would prefer to use any other taxi firm instead but they have monopolised the market in my area by taking over a lot of other taxi services making it more difficult for me to book with a good taxi firm that honours their bookings.
I feel it takes away my freedom of choice and ability to fine competitive rates when they are the only service around.
I will never use them again.
