The worst experience of our lives. Never book with this company. We had reserved a car for Ibiza with full insurance. To our surprise, when we arrived at the airport they told us... On the shuttle that was going to take us to pick up the car, we were already informed that our name did not appear.Upon arriving at the agency, we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled because we had arrived three hours later than the reservation time.This is called unjust enrichment. If I reserve and prepay for a car for nine days, I have the right to use it whenever I want within those nine days. The car was paid for; if I didn't...Whether I pick it up on time or the next day is my problem; I've paid for it for nine days.Well, after a three-hour delay from the scheduled pick-up time, they cancelled our reservation, something another company later told us they never do.They would even reserve the car a day or two later even if the customer didn't show up.If they cancel my reservation on their own, they'll have to refund my money. But they can't cancel something that's already paid for because of a three-hour delay. Unbelievable.Terrible service, they didn't want to know anything about our problem.They gave us no support whatsoever.We had to rent another very expensive car from a different company because it was almost night and we were stranded at the airport with no way to get to the apartment we were supposed to rent.They never sent us an email or a text message asking what was happening and why we weren't delaying.I repeat, the customer service was terrible. When we tried to complain, they practically hung up on us.Please, nobody book with this company if you don't want them to ruin your vacation.The reservation was made in the name of Vicente Moraleja Arroyo. I think we all need to unmask these thieves.Of course we're going to take legal action. If they refuse to return our money, they have to give us back the car. But keeping both the money and the car is simply STEALING.

Don't use this company. My wife had a problem with her credit card and was refused the car. I wanted to go back 2 days later to take the car for the remainder of my 2 week booking, but all I got from doyouspain was quotes from my terms and conditions. 3 different people responded, none offered any support. No support, no help and would not tell me who was holding my booking money.

I had to pay 10 times the amount that I payed to Doyouspain
Maby it’s the combination with Goldcar that is bad
But I will never use doyouspain or Goldcar ever again that is for sure
And I will advise everybody to stay away from these companies if you don’t want to destroy your vacation
Standard answer is what to expect
I buy 100% coverage from you but needed to pay at the counter or I would not have any coverage that’s what they say at Goldcar
And the taxes was very high like 300 euro
If doyouspain is not cheeting then you should not work together with Goldcar because then they are really criminals

DoYouSpain provide a competitive, easy to book car rental platform for other third party companies ie Goldcar, Hertz etc, however if you have an issue at car collection (upselling, refusal of car despite all in order), they don’t answer the tel number provided & make zero effort to assist. Even though you have paid them, have a legal contract & are their customer, they take no accountability or responsibility to fulfill their contractual obligations.
When you open a case via their platform, they don’t read the information provided, only send an automated scripted response that does not apply to the situation. Avoid at all costs!!

Having submitted over 10+ emails to DoYouSpain, who refused to take any accountability and honour their legal obligations, I raised a dispute with my credit card company. They investigated having reviewed my evidence and deemed DoYouSpain negligent so have refunded me the full cost of my car rental payment that I had been refused by Goldcar for declining multiple upselling & despite all being in order.
I advise any customer of DoYouSpain who has been wrongly treated to raise a dispute with their credit card company. The only way to stop these awful customer services & illegal practices is to affect the only area these companies care about; their revenues.

We have used your website many times, very easy to use the filters and find exactly what we want. We normally use Goldcar at the airport and have had no problems over a number of bookings. Good price, easy to use and friendly staff.
