Thieves!

I made a grocery order for over $100 which was never delivered. When I enquired / complained, they never provided an explanation of what caused the delivery failure, did not arrange to ensure the delivery would happen after all, and refused to give a refund.

That's not poor service. That's theft.

I've told their support I will lodge a complaint against them to the Department of Fair Trading in order to get my money refunded. I'm waiting 24 hours for their response before I lodge it.

Looking at all the 1-star reviews, I think it's time this company was properly investigated by the ACCC. So I rang the ACCC and reported them. I recommended that they read DoorDash's Trustpilot reviews.

Dangerous delivery drivers

On April 24 2026 Me and my son we rear ended by a guy doing a door dash delivery. We were hit waiting at the red light by a guy that was speeding,enough so that my head hit the windshield them hit the car in front that set of the airbag straight into my chest and stomach. Now I'm sitting here in pain and haven't got a single answer from door dash😡 my car was completely totaled so now I can't even get to the hospital to get my chemotherapy treatment. Great job doordash. You need to test your driver's for drugs.

I use doordash frequently

I use doordash frequently, and have always had good service, The drivers are prompt, and my orders are always correct. There is one driver in particular, Jody, who is excellent, I wish I could request him all the time.

NO INTEGRITY

I have been a Doordash customer since 2020. I placed an order on Tuesday 28 April. They cancelled my order and I quickly received an email saying they would refund my payment to the original payment method. I got a second email saying if the charge was on my statement, it could take 5-7 business days to be returned. They gave me my return in credits. I reached out on the Doordash app on Monday 4 May, to inquire as to why it hadn't been returned to my original payment method as stated in the email. They said I took too long to ask for it to be returned to my credit card and that they couldn't give me my money back. I sent them the email THEY sent me telling me to wait 5-7 business days and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was given some "tell them what they want to hear" clown named Nada who said it would be returned to my credit card within 24-48 hours. I called Doordash on Wednesday 6 May to ask why the money was not returned to me and removed as credits. They gave me a run around and said a supervisor would reach out to me in 24 hours. I NEVER got a call back. I just got off the phone with them again, Thursday 7 May, and another clown fed me the same speech and told me a supervisor would reach out to me. I will be in contact with them EVERYDAY until I have it returned to my credit card. I NEVER plan on using them again!

Doordash don't!

Placed an $80 order but after selecting food the website said my food was being prepared. It never asked me where I wanted the food delivered and never asked to confirm payment method. I ended up having to drive to meet the driver. When I called it was like talking to AI because the lady just read from a script and was not actually understanding what I said. I've only used them 3 times, years apart and 2 of the 3 times were horrible, not bad, experiences.

I was in my PayPal account today and…

I was in my PayPal account today and noticed that doordash has been charging $11.82 since February to my PayPal account I don't know I did not notice this until now but I just noticed it I went to the doordash website in February but I did not purchase anything it turns out that just going to their website they register you for doordashdash program. I do not order from them so there is no need for me to have this program why would I I would recommend not even going to this site because you're going to end up owing the money

I used to order extensively

I used to order extensively through DoorDash, easily spending thousands of dollars a year on their platform. After my latest experience, I am done. I will never order another thing from them again.

I placed an order with The Cheesecake Factory, and for the second time, my delivery arrived with items missing. When I contacted DoorDash customer support to request a simple refund for the food I paid for but did not receive, they outright refused. It is completely unacceptable for a company to charge customers for undelivered goods and refuse to make it right.

Their customer service is terrible, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful. If you want to actually receive what you pay for—or at least get your money back when the restaurant or driver messes up—look elsewhere. Do not give this company your money.

Missing items, refund issues, and account deactivation

Based on my experience, I would not recommend DoorDash. I dealt with missing items, refund problems, repeated card verification issues on both the website and app, and then my account was deactivated. I was promised updates, but none came, and the deactivation was upheld without a clear explanation. Overall, the support process was frustrating and did not properly resolve my issues.

I received someone else’s order

I received someone else’s order. DoorDash was not helpful at all and resolving the issue. They offered no option. Other than claiming that they reviewed the order. I do understand people make mistakes. I immediately canceled my subscription.

I ordered a burrito enchilada style

I ordered a burrito enchilada style, no rice. I received a burrito FULL of rice. DoorDash response was basically “get over it.” I paid $30 for that meal and I travel for work and order 15-20 times per week. I’d rather drive than deal with their BS.

Missing dessert and cold food

The first thing I realized was the order was missing the Tiramsu for dessert. I put thru a complaint before my husband and I started to eat the 2 meals that we ordered. It ended up the fries and tater tots were completely cold. We live less than 2 miles from the restaurant so things should have not been cold. Door dash wont compensate me for the cold food because I had already put thru the complaint for the missing Tiramsu

DoorDash is becoming a lottery

DoorDash is becoming a lottery. This is the third time our order has been lost or delivered incorrectly.
This time, the driver delivered to the correct number but the wrong street. I personally spoke with the driver, who admitted he already dropped the food off at the wrong address and that someone took it.
Despite providing photos, screenshots, delivery instructions, and written confirmation from the driver, DoorDash still denied compensation online. Instead of enjoying the meal we paid for, we had to spend our evening calling support and appealing the decision just to try to get our money back.
Now DoorDash has denied our refund twice, and we have to contact our credit card company to dispute the charge. Stay away from DoorDash!

DoorDash has disappointed me

DoorDash has disappointed me. I really respected this business, but no longer. I ordered pizza online, but realized I ordered from a different state. The message that showed up said, “We cannot deliver to this area.’ So, I thought the order was void. However, I was charged $20.21 for a pizza I never received. When I called they said I could not get a refund because I was over the three days when I should have notified their company. How was I to know about this three day rule? Three days or not, I didn’t receive the pizza, yet I was charged for it. What kind of reputable company would do that to their customers? So, if you didn’t know this rule, you know it now. Good luck.

Does anyone EVER have a good experience…???

Does anyone EVER have a good experience with DoorDash? Ugh. It’s SO incredibly frustrating to get an order that you pay a LOT of money for that is below mediocre, cold and bad. I just ordered Five Guys Burgers, and while the food was fine, it was cold and the fries were SO salty I had to brush them off before eating. I had it delivered to my business which is in a shopping center with a complicated layout. The delivery person couldn’t speak English, so when he called me I wasn’t able to ask where he was in the shopping center or tell him where I was. This is not the 1st time this has happened even though I add detailed instructions in the notes. DoorDash is just SO bad, but we all put up with it because it’s better than having to cook sometimes after a long day or to go back out to pick up takeout after a long day at work. I can’t believe they are still in business. Grrrrrr.

I have never been so disgusted in my entire life I ordered from Burger City for me my son and my unborn cuz I am 5 months pregnant so are you cut your mother's out there already know how it feels not get your food disaster said that she was near I went outside in the rain waiting for her to do not come to my house or did she answer my calls she sent me a picture of someone else's food that I didn't even order but I didn't even see that order at my house so at this point I had no food and no money back and she did not pick up the phone oh silly me for calling DoorDash directly to tell them about it they tell me there's nothing they can do about it because of my previous account history which was ran by my 11-year-old son so I don't know what we want to do but it has nothing to do it now and this lady not delivering my food or answer for me they tried to call her she did not answer for them either but then they refuse to do something so when I finally spoke to a supervisor she said she were processing me a credit oh she did but not for my full amount so here I am me and my pregnant self 5 and 1/2 months let me say this again and my teenage son no food going on 2 hours now and they want to talk to me about previous history on my account well that's the case they to remember allowed me to place to order in the first place so what they're saying is is okay for the dasher to send your picture of someone else's food and not deliver your food and keep your money and your food that's what they saying now because at the end of the day it should not matter what went on maybe a year or two ago because I really didn't mess with doing this because every time there's an issue but the prices was a little bit better on George Bass this time so I figured let me give it a hoot foolish me I should have just paid a couple extra flowers because I'm crying because I'm starving and I'm on the phone for almost 2 hours with people that could care less that I had just had $26.21 stolen for me and I have no food I have never been treated so unfairly so unjust and my entire life and then when I call back because my complete refund or I couldn't get that I'm sorry credit to my account wasn't refunded they tell me oh guess what That's not making do they cannot add anymore so here I am with not enough money to place my order again five and a half months pregnant and let me just put this in here My boyfriend sent this to me something to that doesn't even matter this is the most craziest thing I ever heard of this is why I really didn't mess with them in the first place and I would never ever do it again and you know what they tell me as they weigh up you know punishing the door dancer they blocked her from delivering to me again oh wait what about everybody else's order and she did this to me she can do this to someone else and y'all were willing to leave me hiding dry when two hours have passed already with no food and no money what a shame do that what a shame you should be ashamed of yourself and I was you I would use Uber eats GrubHub seamless on one of them DoorDash is not the one and I'm pretty sure I am not the only one out here that feels that way and that's all I have to say I have never felt so humiliated and done so wrong in my life and let me say again I was standing out in the rain waiting for my food so please doordash make it make sense while you tried to deny me and I said to them I don't want my money back I just want my food please so I can treat me at my child and my unborn and I sent them a picture of the email to the email showing them that she has sent me a bogus picture of somebody else's food and like I said again let me say this again they tried to contact her contact her and she decided not to even pick up for them so you let me know I'm wrong when I feel like this is unjust and unfair and I deserve proper compensation for this you don't bring up my past account history if that's the case what it was I allowed to get food delivered to me in the first place Make it make sense

Driver buzzed up

Driver buzzed up. I let him in. He refused to come up. He insisted I come to the lobby. I went to the lobby and asked him why he would not come up. He started yelling at me and said I was rude. I was not rude. He turned around and drove away w refusing to hand me the order. I realize that most of these drivers come from different cultures where people speak differently. But this was really ridiculous. I’m done with DoorDash.

If I could leave zero stars

If I could leave zero stars, I would! I placed an order for 4 drinks. 2 were wrong and I got on the app and requested credits. It was escalated to a review team... Whatever that is. I decided to do the online chat since I was at work and couldn't be on the phone.... They said there is nothing they can do even tho I provided proof my order was wrong. They said I complin too much and their policy states they can no longer help me with any issues. Well, how is it my fault I get the wrong stuff? For 30 minutes we went back and forth and nothing was resolved. I am out $24 for 2 drinks and they could care less. I refuse to use this company any further. They steal from people and enjoy doing it. I didn't even want a refund, I want the right drinks!

Shemsu(!?) stole an item and went back…

Shemsu(!?) stole an item and went back to store and tried to get another. Rather than fix their atrocious business model, they mask it by providing their service to Pizza Hut, etc. where consumers think their will be a manager to intervene and not realize its DoorDash. Shame on Pizza Hut for not informing too.
