My advice to anyone who is thinking about ordering from grubhub is dont do it. I will never be ordering from grubhub EVER again because of one experience, I was at an event being held at a school for three days. I decided to order coffee and a few of my friends, then my dad asked me if I could add a sandwich onto the order because he forgot his lunch. The ETA on the order was 1:30pm the first problem was that they didn't get there until about 2:30 then the guy handed me four coffees I asked him where the sandwich was and he informed me the coffee was all we had, so asked if I get it refunded, he told me to get in touch with grubhub. So I called them and FINALLY they picked up the phone. I explained what happend and they told me I couldn't get a refund. I asked who i could contact to get one and they *rudely*told me (this is word for word) I'm sorry miss I am the highest line of contact, you're gonna just have to suck it up this time goodbye. When I told my dad he told me he'd call grubhub again to double check (also to tell them they were rude) says pretty much the same thing I did and then said "franky, I'm a little more upset your customer service told my daughter to suck it up" and they HUNG UP. We were unable to get a refund for the sandwich and both decided we won't be using grubhub again. I would not recommend it no matter how much you are in need of coffee
The last time I ordered through grubhub…
The last time I ordered through grubhub was in January 2026 because the driver decided to make my order the last one to be delivered and everything was cold the nuggets were hard because I had to reheat everything so my meal was not appetizing at all.
So I decided to place an order today 04/17/26 because I get two 35% off promotions in one week.
Beware of the SO-CALLED 35% discount because you don't get it. I ordered something 04/17/26 and my total order before the so called discount was $33. 22 it was suppose to be applied at the check out it was not so I called grubhub and spoke a cheryl and after acting unconcerned she claimed she put 35% off but I did not get that I only got $8.14 off which was a total of $25.08 when it should have been $23.22 with the 35% off discount that I did not get.
So now it looks like I will discontinue ordering from grubhub just like I did with doordash and uber eats they are all PATHETIC CROOKS.
Ordering flowers for my mothers birthday who has cancer..
Trying to order flowers for my mothers birthday who has Cancer and is 1800 miles away. Was suppose to be delivered at 7:00-9:00am and here we are at 2pm on the third different order because they can't get there s**t together. Called customer service with no help. Called again and again, got a manager who hung up on me. Worst company and service ever!!

Only after profit but not honest enough to help with identifying to police the delivery driver that causes property damage and drives away. Not worth using when this kind of deceit is practiced.
Over an hour for food to arrive from five minutes away
I made an order from a restaurant that is roughly a 5 minute drive from my home. The order took an hour to arrive and the food was cold. Then Grub Hub proceeds to not give me a refund. What a joke!
HORRIBLE Don’t Do It!
HORRIBLE! This is the third time they were more than late! The driver drive outside of the city and the delivery time kept going up! They wanted to offer $7 for a refund! Don’t even bother ordering form the, they are terrible!!!

I made an order restaurant to grubhub name La Hacienda in newnan, GA when I was completing the order I realized that I forgot something. Followed the instructions to add to the order and I was charged for both. CS and I was told that they don't have the option for refunds. CS doesn't help ar all.
Bunch of dishonest employees
Bunch of dishonest employees. Prasad texted me telling me that the restaurant already started preparing my order and I couldn’t cancel it. What he didn’t know is that I called the restaurant just prior and confirmed that the order was not started. Stay away from Grubhub. Other more trustworthy companies out there to place a takeout order.

Two times in a month Grubhub has failed to deliver. Went through the whole process then waited and hour and a half to be texted that the order will not be delivered. The food was for my niece that's in a care home so needless to say she went without her dinner. So disapointing that I will no longer use them.
Worst ever
Worst ever! Stick with DoorDash! Got off work way later than expected. GrubHub had a ton of options still available to me and my family so I went with them, first time, over DoorDash. 45 minutes into my wait I noticed the restaurant had closed, contacted support THREE time and they assured me it would arrive… only to cancel my order another 40 minutes later. At that point there was only one restaurant open. Ordered from that restaurant and again cancelled after making me wait until 2am!!! Understand I was hungry and willing to wait,and tipped $20+ dollars hoping… again contacted support with zero resolution and all AI, unlike DoorDash. Was actually warned against being banned for bad language when I simply said, you suck. Such harsh language I know 🙄 but I was hangry. Made me wait up until 3am and never got any food in $80+ orders, decent tip and begging them to just let me know the truth so I was waiting. DoorDash doesn’t allow you to order if they know the restaurant is closing and also provides real resolutions with real people!

Driver delivered to the wrong address . We let them know and they were going to replace our order . They redid the order and then canceled it for no apparent reason . I will use someone else

I order 50 dollars of food from Pe Wie food and never received my order had driver be rude and 2 customer service representative couldnt help me for a refund and one that hung up on me. Worse customer service and representation of a company how are yall in business.

If there a zero you definitely deserve it today especially having a GrubHub delivery driver picked up my order by the time the GrubHub driver picked up the order It was freezing cold so he got to me probably an hour later which the food was no longer good and was out in the drivers car back seat in the hot sun at that time it was an hour later so I called to ask for a actual refund you know because obviously I’m not gonna eat cold food and the driver stayed here in my office so he could let the Grubhub customer service no it was there fault not his because or the restaurants fault. I tossed the food in the Trash and all Grubhub offered me was a five dollar credit on the account for there shitty mistake after I had already played close to $26 bucks with a $5 tip so I am canceling the account. I’m also a prime member so I’m gonna go ahead and report them to the Amazon prime customer service tonight and let them know that Grubhub is doing that to there valued customers because that’s not right for them to be delivering food that is cold and no fault of the driver after he picked the cold food they had him deliver to another customer that was further away from me and that’s why the driver didn’t arrive until a hour later and you know not even being able to ask for a request of a refund, even though the food is no longer good at that point and you paid full price don’t use Grubhub they are horrible and you will regret it because they rip you off in fees and charges way to much to be getting robbed by the Grubhub company and then not taking accountability for there actions they lost a good paying customer for trying to rip customers off instead of fixing the problem

The absolute worst customer service and their offers for making things right especially on orders over $200 is absolutely pathetic they offer to subscription that auto renews that we don't want and then as far as a credit they offered only $5 after complaining that that was kind of pathetic they then offered the max refund possible with their GrubHub guarantee of $7 I will absolutely never be using this service again
This is horribly slow service
This is horribly slow service, food is always cold by the time it arrives. They change drivers all the time so food gets later and later. Screen shot the first delivery time because they change it to better suit them.

Unable to use credits and customer service was useless. Spoke with two reps who gave different answers and neither solution worked. They sounded like I was talking to a machine and did not know what they were talking about.
