Stay clear - con men

Called the company for a service for my shark vacuum cleaner, paid a deposit and told them what was wrong with the vacuum cleaner! Told definately worth a repair as great machines…. engineer duly turned up.
Proceded to take one look, totally slate sharks, said it would cost more to repair and attempted to talked me into a reconditioned Dyson. I explained that I had previously owned dysons and really preferred the shark.

I paid £55 for nothing , as the service I was promised was naff as well!!!! They definitely con you if I had read the reviews before hand I wouldn’t have bothered!!!

Total rip off.James, Kirsty and Mike, you should be ashamed

Called the company for a service for my shark vacuum cleaner, paid a deposit and engineer duly turned up.
Proceded to take one look, totally slate sharks, said it would cost more to repair and talked me into a reconditioned Dyson. I explained that I had previously owned dysons and really preferred the shark.
I feel that I was pressured into accepting a reconditioned dyson and they took payment, it was due to be delivered 2 weeks later but cancelled within 24 hours.
I have spent the last 5 weeks listening to a pack of lies and have now resorted to contacting the bank, do Not go near them.

Abysmal Vacuum cleaner repair/insurance Service

I have had an insurance policy for years and today phoned Domestix asking if they could send over an engineer to repair our Dyson hoover. Today is 9th October 2025 and the earliest appointment they could offer is nearly 5 weeks away, 10th November. I explained that we couldn't wait that long and that the Domestix website states, "We can offer same day visits, weekend call-outs, 4 hour time slots". I would respond that this is at best stretching the truth. An abysmal vacuum cleaner repair/insurance service offering that is absolutely pointless to have. We shall cancel.

Fraudulent Company

BEWARE. Took a deposit for a visit which I cancelled. The accounts team tell you it will take 10 days for the deposit to be refunded. I have been waiting since 15Sep25. After multiple calls, my number is now directed to voicemail. Dishonesty at its finest!

Man arrived to look at my Dyson hoover…

Man arrived to look at my Dyson hoover said no good after 3 minutes and I should get a reconditioned from them paid them £160 there and then, told I would hear in a couple of days heard nothing cancelled asked for refund 3 weeks later still waiting so disputed with my bank, thankfully they refunded me but nasty office staff sending emails saying I shouldn’t have done that? Do not use this company

Completely useless back office

Completely useless back office. Here's why:

Domestix normally send e-mail reminders about annual service calls but in 2024 did not send me such a reminder. As a result, I received no annual service call in 2024. Indeed, I have not had any sort of service call since March 2023.
When challenged on this Domestix stated that it “expects its customers to take responsibility for initiating an annual service call”. This is an almost unbelievable position to take when there is a service contract in place.
In 2024 alone I paid Domestix more than £200 but received not one iota of value from your service. I could have bought a new Dyson machine for less.
Domestix simply do not bother to respond to e-mails because they are, quote “too busy”
Domestix's published service standards talk about 1 day response times, but I had to wait over 2 weeks for call out when a covered Dyson appliance failed. This is simply poor value for my >£18 pcm.

Never again ... avoid this hopeless firm.

Hopeless service

They sent email reminder. Then no contact as to approx. time of arrival. Phoned them and got 2hr window. Then they missed this so phoned again. Eng. sent text that he was on way. 40mins later no sign. Phoned again and they had sent Eng. to wrong address. Real bunch of clowns. Then asked me if I wanted to reschedule - really!

Beware of this company!!!!!

Beware of this company! they are true charlatans.
I booked an appointment with them for a repair to my Dyson hoover. At the time I had no reason to doubt anything however in hindsight I wish I'd never gone near them. They promised me a replacement in 10 days, I waited 5 weeks. turned up with a replacement that was older than my original that they took away. Makes you wonder what they did with my mine????

AVOID

AVOID! Booked a hoover repair, they came after a couple of weeks cuz, god knows they are so requested… They told me they could not repair the hoover on the spot as they promised, charged me £150 and took the hoover away. I am still waiting for it after 2 months! They stopped replying to my emails. Save yourself the trouble.

Lots of talk and don't deliver

I booked Domestix to fix my dishwasher. I decided to sign up to the £8 a month scenario when the engineer offered it at the end of the first visit. They would come back another four times, each time to replace something new, never ever fixing the dishwasher properly. They were no shows on another two occasions so I cancelled the monthly fee (which I only paid once). Avoid using at all costs.

Just want your money

Called Domestix to look at a fridge in my campervan. The engineer visited, put his hand on the compressor and told me that it needed replacing. That was the only test that he did. That visit cost £92. The engineer later telephoned me with a £400+ estimate to replace the compressor. I opted to buy a new fridge for £500.

I plugged in the new fridge and it had the same fault as the broken fridge. I did a quick Google search and discovered that that problem was common and related to not enough power reaching the fridge.

Everything is now working ok but I'm £600 out of pocket. Avoid this company.

Dishonest & untrustworthy, don't use

Absolutely terrible company, if there was a no star option I'd choose that. Paid a deposit for a service, the machine couldn't be serviced, no refund. Now they say it's a call out fee. Dishonest & untrustworthy, don't use!!

Would not trust them installing an electric toothbrush
Try to get to pay for second visit without ordering the part for the first visit with Go Assist
