Today i ordered a bundle of towels
Today i ordered a bundle of towels. I was ordering late and it was a gamble whether they could arrive on time before holiday. I emailed and a lady offered to post them express ( at no cost) to make sure they arrived on time. Avry was her name - Thank you.
Sadly the towels were not in stock so I ended up receiving another email to tell me this. Such a pity. But the kindness and professionalism i wanted to share. I will order again soon. And be more organised. Thank you

POOR QUALITY DREADFUL RETURNS PROCESS
Really disappointed with the quality and feel of the poncho I ordered. Also too small and too short to get changed in and keep my modesty. I ordered a medium as I am a size 10 and 5ft 4. Arm holes were large and exposed quite a lot of flesh!
DREADFUL RETURNS PROCESS
Buyers beware that the returns process is dreadful. Firstly you have to request a return which is 'granted' by email some time later.
It cost me £6.19 to return!
Returned on February 26th. The parcel was received by them on 28th. It's now 7th March and I'm still waiting for the refund despite website stating they will refund as soon as parcel is received.

For all returns, we do ask for 5-7 business days for processing time before you receive refund. But, if you could submit your proof of postage to help@dockandbay.com, we can make sure the return was successfully received and refund you ASAP!
Awful Delivery
I can’t comment on the actual towel, it was ordered as a present and I allowed plenty of time for it to be delivered on time, paying an extra £6 for gift card and packaging. Ordered Tuesday morning, despatched Friday morning, website states it’s likely to be sent the same day if placed in the morning or the next day not 3 days later. Present will now not arrive in time and I’m gutted. I was given £8.10 credit in compensation on s £44 order!! No compensation enough for the disappointment I feel, it was REALLY important that this present arrived in time and it was obvious it’s was a birthday present as I’d paid for a gift card and packaging. I should have ordered something from Amazon, teach me to support a small business.

I’ve been impressed with your products for while. (I’ve purchased the hair wrap and body towel) the hair wrap not only sucks the water out my hair in record time but it also de frizzes my hair. It’s amazing!
Recently I ordered more towels to put in my hospital bag and my holiday bag. To my shock the bright spark who delivered my parcel put the parcel in the bin and never left a card in the door. Not knowing they were they there u can guess what happened … yup, off they went to the recycling center. I contacted Dock and Bay. I have to say that their customer service care skills are as amazing as their products! I corresponded with Avry. They were helpful, apologetic (even though it wasn’t their fault at all) and sorted it all out in less than 24 hours. THANK YOU! 10 out of 10’s across the board guys. 👏🏼

Excellent product, service to match
Bought two of these to gift and now want one for myself! Also had a delay in delivery (not their fault, we are going through it with mail & delivery right now!), so reached out to the company and they responded immediately. Even with the delay, shipping was very fast. Excellent service, so friendly, would absolutely recommend to anyone!

You are in safe hands with Dock and Bay. The towels are awesome, mine washes well and dries quickly. Because travelling light is important to me, being able to take a large towel and stay under the weight limit is amazing. I have used mine to lie on the beach, in the shower, even to throw over myself when napping in the car at service stations to rest on long drives. Customer service is right up there among the best I’be ever had. Recommended unreservedly.

Big disappointment
Unfortunately these towels were a big disappointment. Paid over £54 for 2 of them. First time they were used the stains from daily use …sweat .. suncream…even Foot marks .. never washed out well. They look poisoned. They’ve always been washed according to the instructions. Now after using them for over a year I can’t stand the sight of them anymore. On the look out for something a bit more practical, something that washes better.

Sunscreen and certain environmental factors can sometimes create stubborn marks that are challenging to fully remove from any item. We know you've been following the washing instructions on the tag, but it may be worth soaking these in hot water, and then following up with a warm wash at 60°C with a reliable stain-lifting powder. It’s a tried-and-true trick that might help give your towels a refresh!

Very disappointed. Received mine as a present. Excited to use it on a day long boat trip. Was soggy all day! Didn’t dry out at all even when left to dry. Felt slimy on my skin. Waste of money

Bad return process
I got some beach towels from them before and liked them so I ordered additional items like hair wrap, but the quality/ sizing is not that great hence I tried to return them.
Since then I became quite underwhelmed of this brand as their return process is utterly below par - first you have to request a return to be manually approved by customer service, and that took half a day, then you have to print off the original order details yourself for them to process your return, when most shops would give you a return code to save you the troubles, and one also has to pay the postage themselves. I haven't encountered such a troublesome return process for a long time.

We're a small business and we care massively about being sustainable. Free returns have a huge impact on the environment and carbon footprint. Customers pay for returns and if we have made an error (e.g. if we sent you the wrong product for example), then we bear the cost of the return 😊. This is why customers would have to pay for postage.
Customer focused business!!
My order dispatch was slightly delayed and I needed my towels in time for my holidays. It just took one email to customer service and the fantastic Avry got it sorted! The towels are lovely too. Well done Dock & Bay really great customer support 👏👏

Such good customer service…
I have not bought anything from this company before, but the reviews were good so I went ahead with my purchase.
I had a query, something didn’t feel right so I sent a message, asking for advice.
The response was quick, polite & helpful. Demi had so much patience with me. Every time I messaged her, she replied in a way that made me feel like a valued customer even though I’d only bought a small thing.
Based on my experience with Demi, I would happily recommend Dock & Bay to everyone.

I've received a bath towel with yellow staines on it. Ive requested a return on their website and my request has been rejected!!
Customer service uses odd conversation style saying oh that's "not amazing" asking for pics of dirty towel for "investigation" purpose after which they said they will refund me 25%!!! They are breaking Consumer Acts Rights, not adhering even to their own T&Cs. Such an odd company. What a dissapointment. Still trying to return stupid towel and in conversation to most useless customer servive ever who uses copy paste ready templates insteaf of meaningful conversation.

We ask for photo evidence of stains on towels so that we can investigate with the warehouse to see what happened and ensure there are no other towels from the batch impacted by the issue you're experiencing.
Once these photos are received, we offer either a free replacement or 25% off your affected item and we would never ask you to return your item at first. If you prefer a refund, we are always happy to offer a free return label (which has been offered to you at this stage). 🙌

Lovely towels bought for motorhome as light. Friends recommended & love them! Like other reviewer though, I was disappointed that the 10% new customer discount which took £50 to £45 was cancelled out by the postage being applied to discounted price!

Discount wiped by shipping cost! Refunded shipping!
Made a decision to buy 2 beach towels with the 10% discount. All in basket, discount applied, to find that order has to be over £50 for free shipping! So basically discount wiped out by the £4 shipping. So will not be purchasing. You lured me in and lost me in one fail swoop. Give the discount and free shipping for first order, that makes more sense to me and I am sure others. Thank you, I have been refunded for the shipping. Great customer service.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - Dock & Bay towels at a cost…
Purchased 2 Dock & Bay towels at a cost of £24.99 each = £50 in March 2024 via Amazon. They are authenticate D&B towels.
Purchased them based on their sales pitch regarding "QUICK DRY" and lightweight. Lightweight they are, but QUICK DRY THEY ARE NOT. How are they quick dry when it takes 9+ hours to dry... extremely disappointed at the fake claims, definitely do not recommend.
