Service Great but product difficult to assemble.
The customer service was first rate but we bought a bin storage unit which was difficult to assemble even with 2 people. I have emailed my feedback directly
I’ll never buy online from this place again
I’ll never buy online from this place anymore. Product arrived missing parts and when I called the customer service they were very unprofessional and very confused not helping me at all. The product were sold out so they couldn’t replace it so the alternative would be to return the product, they said they would book the collection but didn’t have a date for the collection so it could happen at anytime. So I’ve the product that I paid for and I can’t use it because it’s missing parts and I need the product so I need to buy somewhere else, spend my money and God knows when they will come and collect it and also when I will be refunded. Never buy online anymore for this place so you should avoid it.
Damaged goods in very untidy delivery van
Delivery was very poor. Part of my order damaged but was something i could repair so just accepted it. No care in how delivery van was packed with numerous deliverys just thrown in.

The worst delivery and customer service experience i think I have ever received. My item didnt arrive for 5 weeks. No communication from BnQ. I made dozens of calls, each time I was promised the problem would be resolved, promised a call back from a supervisor or promised that the store will contact me.
Eventually I get an email with an exchange notice. Item showed up the next day.

Took a month and about 15 calls to customer service to get my order. Order went into limbo saying it was delivered. Made call after call looking for an update. Zero communication back until I had to ring the store myself that was fulfilling the order and keep plaguing customer service.

The second time I have now placed an order with B&Q Ireland for Sandtex masonry paint, on both occasions product shows in stock and available for delivery and twice the order was cancelled with no explanation. Pretty poor service, it should not be showing in stock online allowing you to complete order and just cancelled with no explanation.

I ordered two items on 17 March and despite estimated delivery of 3 days promised it took 12 days to arrive. There was a gaping hole in the parcel and one item was missing from my order and despite contacting customer service several times I’m still waiting for the item. Pathetic response to a simple problem. I’ll never buy a thing from B&Q again.
Random refund of main order item with no notice
Ordered a 100L water butt, and in order to reach their shipping threshold I added extra 'nice to have' items to my basket to get free shipping. A day before delivery (which took a week), I get a random email notification saying the water butt had been refunded. When the order arrived after 7 days it didn't have the main item I wanted in the first place, I wouldn't have ordered from BnQ if they couldn't get me the water butt in 3-5 days.
When I raise the request with B&Q cust service on the day of delivery I got an automated email asking for more details, promptly filled them out and still no word back from a human yet after 5 days. I ordered on 8 of May and it's now 22nd and still have no water butt. I don't normally leave reviews like this but wanted to share my fair warning, and wasn't surprised to find many other reviews just like mine. Not impressed and won't be returning.
Joke of a company
Have had an on going issue with an exchange for over a month now. Customer service are less than useless. Continue to lie to me about when the exchange will be done. B+Q keep emailing me daily asking for a review so here it is. Do not buy online, not worth the risk if something goes wrong

Lost deliveries, wrong items delivered, paid for survey which turned out to be incorrect. Endless delays. No respect for customer.

Delivery was supposed to arrive the 16th May and will not be delivered until the 21st May. Customer service was very poor. No reason for the delay and no apology given by customer service. Do not order from B&Q Ireland (DIY.IE) if you expect delivery on time.
Had to amend my original delivery date
Had to amend my original delivery date. Could not get through on the phone to customer services so emailed. Several days later finally got an email giving an alternative date which I accepted but delivery arrived on the original date despite me emailing several times to say no one would be on site to receive the order. I was out of the country but delivery driver phoned and I explained the date had been rearranged. He was very helpful and contacted his head office and got everything sorted. When the delivery arrived last Thursday 14th May there were 3 items missing. I immediately emailed and notified B&Q. It’s now Tuesday 19th and still have heard nothing back despite a follow up email yesterday. It has been an extremely frustrating time dealing with B&Q and I won’t be purchasing from them again. Appalling, if I could have given a minus score I would have done. Below I have been asked for the date of my experience. I have given the date of the partial delivery but this has being going on since 13th April.
