Great quality of sweets and snacks, very well packed too. Would certainly order again. Just that the delivery was delayed a bit and it would have been nice to be informed upfront. But their superior quality of food made up for the delay; worth the wait. :) Very happy to have discovered this hidden gem.

It was very dissapointing to work with Divine Bites. I requested a greeting card to come with my package and they forgot to send it. I paid extra for the card and all they had to say was that they are busy and they refunded the 2 euros i spent on the card. Sending the whole gift was a complete waste without the card as the receiver did not know who it was from.

It's a long story with this website. I will cut it short to poor website management with wrong delivery dates. They delivered the sweets 10 days post payment. To top it, they deliver to a shut drop off on a weekend ,on the pretext that receiver wasn't contactable by post NL . Till date it is rotting somewhere. Happy sniffing to all involved in the logistics.

Thanks for your feedback. It is unfortunate that you feel this way. When a customer places an order, we show the tentative delivery date at the time of checkout. The packages are always delivered within 1 day of that tentative date. In other words, the customer knows when and what to expect, and they place an order knowing it will take x number of days. This shouldn't be a reason to complain at a later date. The delivery happens via a third-party agency (Post NL in this case). These delivery partners have their processes and policies. For example, if the recipient is not home or doesn't open the door, they take it to the nearest pickup shop. The status is updated on their portal, a standard practice in The Netherlands. The same thing happened in this case and we expect that the customer will also understand how it works.
We try to go above and beyond for our clients, but we can only do it within reason. We have mentioned all these details on our website and have made it clear that we do not deliver the packages ourselves. Our delivery partners handle it, and they have operating procedures beyond our control. It is a pretty standard process in NL and the delivery partners do not call someone ahead to stay at home. They attempt a delivery and if the recipient is not available, it goes to a pickup point. Rotting parcels are not their problem. Recipient is also accountable to a certain degree, in this case, picking up the parcel, if for some reason it was not delivered at home.

Best service and quality of sweets
I am highly impressed with the quality of sweets and service provided by Divine bites. At the last moment I had to postpone the delivery of my order and they did it with a smile. I will highly recommend them if you like to have authentic sweets in Netherlands.

The kachoris were very good and even the gunjia. Besan ladoos were very tasty also, but could have had less ghee/oil.
Also, wish there were chutney packed for the kachoris. But overall the best Indian snack we tasted in the Netherlands!

Thanks Vinita. We try to have a very balanced flavor for all our preparations. Be it sugar, ghee or other ingredients. However, as you can understand, Kachori/Samosa are fried, thus there is no way to reduce the oil. For Besan Ladoo, ghee is one of the most prominent ingredient that binds it all together. We only use desi ghee for all our sweets and there is no oil whatsoever.
