Just wanted to say thanks for yesterday, I really enjoyed the Indoor Cycling course and it helped my confidence massively. Your teaching style was great - very approachable, knowledgeable and you added a lot of value in a very pragmatic way with practical, real-world advice about running a successful class.

I am happy with the delivery of training and courses however a bit disappointed with the communication with students via email in case of emergencies and other issues that my occur in one's life.

I was very disappointed with discovery learning . I felt I had no support at all , I was given the old training manual , was not kept up to date with the changes from YMCA to Actice IQ I did paperwork that needed to done again , very disappointed when I contacted the admin team to express my worries but was not taken seriously.
I wanted to do my PT level 3 but will look st doing this with another company as I feel that doing home learning you just have easy access to your assessor and just simply be supported.
I would not recommend discovery learning to my friends.

Really happy with my experiences of doing Level 2 Certification in fitness theough discovery learning. Content posted to me really quickly, emails always responded to so fast, and easy access to online content as well. Assessors were really friendly, and student support were always really helpful whenever I had an issue. Discovery learning definitely seems to be an agency that wants to support students as best as they can and I really appreciate that. Thank you.

Did my Indoor Cycling Instructor course. It was good valve, great day, great course instructor Mike. Would definitely do other courses with Discovery.

I will use this company again for further training, although i did have some minor set backs with a course, the team came through in the end!

I recently completed my L2 and L3PT course at Birmingham. Rob is an excellent tutor, his teaching style is fantastic! Highly recommend Discovery Learning!!

Discovery Learning has quite professional approach to learn you the basics of being a PT. Every session was high level, interactive and the tutor is high-qualified and well-prepared. I got all support and answers for my questions at any time.

Student Support.
I have recently conducted an online Level 2 Fitness course. As the course is in transition from YMCA to Active Learning it was confusing in areas. This confusion was managed extremely well by a very helpful and supportive Student Support team. I would like to name one individual who went the extra mile for me Mr Frank Sardokie.I would also like to praise Mr Bob Hope who was a very informative teacher. I would recommend anyone to do their personal training course with discovery learning. I completed my courses in Birmingham with Rob who was an excellent tutor.

Just qualified as L3 PT with Discovery. Great tutors and assessors throughout and the gym at Acton was friendly and easy tu use. Parking good too. Admin side of things was a bit sketchy so always best to double check start times and course dates to save yourself wasted journeys. Best guy to deal with on the phone is Frank. He always went the extra mile to get things sorted and gives solid advice. All in all a good course if you out in the work. Cheers.

Angela was a really good indoor cycling tutor, high energy and made it a really enjoyable day. Really enjoyed the course, it was structured really well!

So, it took 6 months for my PT certificate to come through after constant phone calls and e-mails, which was poor!
However, it gets worse...10 months after completing my GP referral and having the temporary certificate from Discovery, I am told that they had sent the wrong folio to the students at the time of my course and I have to redo all the work and complete the new one! So, if admitting complete incompetence as a training provider isn't bad enough, let's get on to customer service...
How have I found out about the issue with the folio? I have had to pester them by phone and email chasing up my certificate from 10 months ago! If a company knows they have screwed up at least tell the people involved as soon as you find out about the issue!

Recently completed Level 2 Fitness Instructing & Level 3 Personal Training @ The Marylebone Academy with Tony Appleton. It definitely a fun learning experience, I would recommend for anybody who has difficulty getting their head around the theory aspect as Tony has a great ability in breaking things down. Also if you like a bit a banter too!!

I have just completed my Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualifications with Discovery Learning. This was a fantastic course which I would recommend to anyone thinking of moving into the Personal Trainer industry. Mike Watt was a fantastic tutor who used a good mix of theory and practical throughout the course and gave very useful tips for budding trainers. I will be using Discovery again for future training as I progress my career as a PT.

I have recently completed the Level 3 Personal Trainer Course in Manchester with Mike Watt.

The course content was excellent with a perfect balance of theory and practical work to ensure that no day was anything less than exciting and has prepared me well for a career within the fitness industry. Above all else the level of instruction delivered by Mike was absolutely second to none. He created a brilliant working environment and his varied methods of instruction made learning some of the most challenging topics, a lot easier.

Mike is an outstanding ambassador of the Discovery Learning Company. His standard of knowledge and instruction sets him apart from instructors I have encountered in the past. Coming from an 18 year military career and encountering some of the most professional individuals around, I hold Mike in very high regard.
