Advertised free transfer in but still charged me. Not trustworthy. Very poor platform with lots of limitations. Very immature compared to other brokers that I use.

Slow processes
Made a transfer to my trading account in spring, the week when Degiro changed bank account provider. The money never reached the trading account therefore I enquired about the issue and requested to transfer the money in July. As of today (21st of August) the balance has not been made available to trade yet.

Endless wait for portfolio transfer, and still waiting!
Over three months to transfer my portfolio to another broker. It has take this time and today the transfer is not yet completed. My documentation is in order and a clear list of stocks was provided with my request as indicated on Degiro's user guide. A quick Google search confirms my fears: this is common practice with Degiro. It can take from several weeks to a number of months before you can see your transfer completed and your stocks on your other account.
They don't answer support requests nor provide any indications for when to expect the operation to progress. On top of that they have requested all orders (including stop-loss) to be cancelled so that the transfer can be completed more quickly, yet it's now been an additional three weeks since that happened and no further communication has taken place since. My positions are currently not protected and I don't have a target date for the transfer to complete. Appalling service from this broker. Pay a bot more on fees and go to Interactive Brokers or some other more credited and reliable institution.
