Delivered when expected, although the lorry's trolley wasn't able to lift the pallet about 5cm onto the drive. However I've used them many times before and would do so again.

There was an issue with delivery but the sales office was very supportive in dealing with this issue and keeping us up to date.

Ordered a pallet of graphite grey slate and we are well impressed. It is a beautiful colour with gold flecks running through it and such a good price too. Delivery completely stress free, would definitely order again 👍
I regret placing an order with this company as I am now £150 out of pocket. I ordered 2 x 850kg of chipped slate. On the morning of the delivery I rang the office to see if they had an approximate delivery time. They didn't know, but assured me that the driver would call prior to delivery. He didn't - he just turned up. I asked him about the expected phone call and he said he didn't work for Decorative Aggregates and didn't make phone calls. I asked him to put the pallets on the drive, but he said he couldn't due to the small "lip" on to the drive and the pallets were (of course) very heavy. It wasn't possible to leave them on the road as it's a small residential road, parking is at a premium and it could be a danger at night. So I had to refuse the order.
I rang the office and asked for a refund. They explained that "for insurance reasons" drivers couldn't deliver straight on to a drive. And that they would organise a refund minus £150 delivery costs. It took 3 phone calls and 10 working days to get the refund.
My suggestions for Decorative Aggregates:
1. Find another delivery company, one that has electric powered pallet trucks or a HIAB crane. I had a complete bathroom suite on a pallet truck delivered on to my driveway a few months ago. The driver had the right equipment for the job.
2. Decide whether or not your insurance covers you for driveway deliveries. Some of your reviews show that this has happened for other customers.
3. If you must use drivers that don't make phone calls, use a delivery service with tracking. Not everyone can wait in all day for a delivery.
4. If you choose to ignore the above, the least you can do is put a warning on your website explaining that you NEVER deliver directly on to a customer's driveway and that drivers will not give an ETA.
Finally, my suggestion for potential customers - use Sure Green. I wish I had found them first.
What a wonderful experience. I purchased a bulk bag of white cobbles. Ordered on Wednesday and they arrived Friday as stated. The delivery driver was very helpful and courteous. The product is great and just as described. Great company, no stress ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Extremely poor customer service. They send wrong stones. Advertised 20mm size but in the details range is mentioned 14mm-24mm whereas 99% stones were smaller than 20mm as randomly checked by us in 1000KG delivery. At the same time, other color same 20mm size was absolutely fine. We contacted them on the day of delivery, we wanted to keep one pallet and return the other but their policy is to either keep both or reject both. In the end, they charged us return delivery for both pallets while we want to keep one of them as other was faulty. We contacted them on phone, and they are not happy to even talk now, disconnecting calls. Stay away. You can find same price from your local garden center with £10 delivery charges. We have learnt the lesson hard and paid £117 for return which was even not our fault and also did not let us keep one of them due to their policy
Third time we have ordered and pleased with the service we received. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was the Scottish stone which we had delivered recently. When wet they look very similar to the stones we have had before but when dry they look very white from a distance - totally different when wet. We understand that is why they look good in a water feature. Just be aware!
I ordered a bulk bag of 800kg of Scottish pebbles, 3 bags of smaller pebbles and a bag of horticultural grit for delivery 12 August. I took the day off work and waited in all morning. Around lunchtime a bulk bag of white stone chippings arrived, no small pebbles and no grit - very clearly not what I ordered. Today has been an absolute waste of my time and now I have to wait in again tomorrow. There has been an apology for the mistake but no offer of free delivery or any other gesture. So far a disappointing experience. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
Ordered bulk bag (800kg) of 40mm grey slate, which has some larger slate mixed in. There are also pieces slate with green veins running through them, once washed off after laying really brings the slate to life. The bulk load was unloaded on level surface ( I live on a slight gradient and tail lift was unable to sit flush to road to unload ) and a pallet truck was then used by driver and pulled onto my driveway. A big THANK YOU to driver and Emily who update me on delivery. I definitely would recommend Decorative Aggregates.
I ordered three I,000 kilo loads of cobbles. The delivery was on time as indicated on the order. This first delivery was one day late as there were issues with restricted width. This was sorted out.
The response to my queries was prompt, giving me confidence that the order will be delivered in good time.
The quality of the cobbles was as expected and has made my garden look much better than before.
On price, the competition could NOT match the prices offered by this company.
I would recommend this company for ordering aggregates and other items offered for sale.
Ordered plum slate chippings, had prompt reply from customer service to my query, slate delivered without any issue,I think people should read the terms and conditions of delivery , concerning previous negative reviews, I was very happy with the size and quality of the slate chippings, great product, great price, and great customer service.
I am honestly so impressed! From the easy to use website that gives clear information on weight etc (this was worth it as one of our products was a monolith so we went for the smaller one and I’m glad we did because good grief they are heavy!!) to the delivery where we had the friendliest delivery driver to the actual products which exceeded my expectations! We will definitely be using again!

I am very surprised to read so many negative reviews about the delivery. I can only imagine that people have unrealistic expectation to what is practically possible.
The driver who delivered my order this morning was extremely helpful, delivered seamlessly and exactly where I wanted it.
The product was as advertised, properly packed and easy to carry and handle.
Great customer experience
Thoroughly recommend this company - easy online ordering, the calculator for working out how much need is fab, customer service was excellent, aggregate delivered on time, and the driver was extremely helpful, and the quality of the product is first rate.

Poor customer service - think twice before ordering!!
On agreed order date I called to chase delivery at 2pm, to be told the delivery would not happened with some made up story as to why it was not possible. When I challenged this due to the lack of communication the customer services operative became rude and aggressive and cancelled my order leaving me without my order and having to find a last minute solution. This company have no customer service skills and what was worse they did not care enough to try and resolve my concerns. Clearly more training is needed.

Customer service none existent, no one answers the phone. Everything takes forever to sort!
I ordered some stones and had delivery for them, when they arrived I realised they were the wrong size. I rung and spoke to a lady straight away. I was told exchanges aren’t available I would have to re order and then they would collect the stones the following Tuesday, which didn’t happen, I called on Wednesday, eventually got through to someone and was told they would definitely be collected Wednesday afternoon. Again never happened. On Thursday morning I rung again and explained I had a delivery that day could the driver collect the original stones, to which I was told no that wasn’t possible but they would send someone to collect them. Anyway delivery driver came and I asked him if he could possibly take the old stones which he kindly agreed, if I wouldn’t have asked the delivery driver I would still be waiting for the collection. 4days later, I rung store again to ask for refund, was told they would check with collections it’s been returned and send confirmation. Again… nothing. Find myself ringing again, the lady sent me an email saying refund processed. I asked for confirmation of amount, you’ve taken £58 for collection…. You NEVER collected. I had to ask the delivery driver. I rung numerous times and not one person can do the job right first time. No customer service what so ever, you’ve to do everything for them otherwise nothing would get done, there is no end to end customer service, but the stones delivered are really nice.
The cobbles are exactly as described on the website, and delivered on time.
A big thank you to the delivery driver who took the 2 x 800kg bags up the drive.

Got a confirmation email with the delivery date on it, although they stated they couldn’t say when within the 8am-6pm window it would come. It didn’t come at all, after I’d taken a day off work to accept and move it. Will it come tomorrow? Hope so, as I have £300 of aquatic plants arriving to go in a pond that’s not ready. No contact from seller advising delivery changes. Awful service, will be getting the bigger boulders for the project elsewhere.
Ordered 50 x 20kg slate chippings. Arrived on the specified date. They cover the ground well and look fabulous. Highly recommended.
