Excellent service. Thank you. There was a problem with my vaccination not of their making and Dears Dunfermline just didn’t give up until it was solved.
I dropped into the pharmacy to get my travel vaccinations. Ada was very helpful in making recommendations for my trip, and there was no discomfort when applying the injection.
Friendly staff. Suzanne was very helpful and explained the service very well. Over all a great experience. This was at the big 1 down Kirkcaldy high street
i ended up getting transferred to T-Hall from the high street store after getting fobbed off 3 times about a stuffed/blocked ear, found the T Hall staff very friendly, helpfull and they were able rectify my issue, and give me great info for future problems. Thank you very much ☺️☺️
NO STARS ! Couldn’t give a monkeys about the customers .
Booked B12 jabs , we both arrived on time to find mobbed , we waited in queue . 5 mins later got given a form to fill in , which we did and handed back to staff . Waited again ( as told to ) another 5/10 mins later told ‘you missed your appointment it was 15 mins ago ; jab not happening . WHAT ?? Totally incredulous … couldn’t believe it , especially as we had battled all the way through tea time traffic and roadworks from the other side of town . I’m still in disbelief at the treatment we were given . Certainly nowhere near person centred and devoid of any empathy whatsoever ; Stonewalled by pharmacist who said ‘well nothings happening today I didn’t get told in time you were here !!!’ 😳🤯 what ??!! Absolutely unbelievable ; in utter disbelief we left . This is not the end of the complaint by any means …
Ears done here staff were perfect today
Always so helpful and fast with their service
I visited dears pharmacy in Newton mearns yesterday having had some problems with my medication. The lady pharmacist I spoke was both knowledgeable, empathetic and reassuring. She listened carefully to what my problem was , then suggested I try a new medication which she went on to prescribe for me . I left very reassured and delighted with the consultation.
Pharmacist at Mcmillian square Pennywell Edinburgh branch doesn't know a uti from thrush, misdiagnosis and doesn't even want to give you a face 2 face consultation just sends the shop assistant back and forth.
I went to my gp next day and said same symptoms as I had described to the pharmacist and straightaway I got told yet it's a uti.
The pharmacist does not listen properly I even wrote symptoms down and she claimed the assistant must've misheard, how can you mishear something written down.
This branch of Dears is a disgrace and should be shut down! They constantly lose medications, and they have given me the wrong diabetic needles and even the wrong insulin, I noticed and I had to reorder from the gp so that was a further delay. Another time they lost my insulin and after two weeks they found it in the fridge, the most obvious place it should be!! I will never be in a Dears pharmacy again! Abysmal service and shop. Then they wonder why you get annoyed, are we just meant to put up with their incompetence and say nothing. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!
In March 2024, Kirsty at Dears, in Leslie, cleared my blocked ears completely with ear wax suction - so I arranged to bring my 94 y/old mother to have wax suction removal in July. Kirsty could not have been more helpful, even helping me get mum out of the car and into the treatment room. She was very gentle, caring and efficient, ensuring mum was comfortable through the entire process. Good results and a very satisfied customer and daughter. Can’t recommend highly enough…
Terrible experience with them and lied to.
I booked a same day appointment for the hay-fever injection (kenalog) with the Armadale branch. I got to Armadale to be told the pharmacist had left and if I wanted the injection I would need to go to linlithgow. So I did 20mins out me way. Armadale said they would see me straight away. I got there to be told I couldn't be seen for 45mins. So I waited. After eventually being seen the pharmacist spoke to me for couple mins and said I could have the injection as I had, had it the year before. I explained this was incorrect. She them said "oh well you can't have because you haven't tried English tablets". I again explained I had tried several and it has never been a problem before. She refused to give me very rude whilst speaking to me. Would give me a refund either so was out of pocket. I have since found out that they don't have kenalog in stock. So just lied to me and kept my consultation fee. Absolutely shocking.
Ended up going to YourGP in Edinburgh and getting the injection no problem. I would suggest anyone wanting private services don't use this place and got to a private clinic. Wasted my money and around 3 hours of my day.
Came to dears pharmacy to have bloods taken , I couldn't be more impressed from as soon as I went into the pharmacy I was made very welcome by both counter staff and pharmacist, 5 star also giving to CHARLIE whom took my bloods for making me feel so welcome . I just wish all pharmacist were like this ..
Thanks Charlie. 😊
Went to get blood drawn for an allergy test. Everything went quickly and smoothly. Charlotte was great and made me feel comfortable the whole time.
Staff went out of their way to be helpful and with a smile. Very positive experience, thank you.
Great pharmacy always quick and efficient and super friendly. Will be using this pharmacy over the competitor's from now on
Dears Pharmacy, Glamis Centre - Every interaction with every staff member is consistently of a high level of customer service. They are professional, efficient and always go the extra mile. On several occasions I've left really quite surprised at how helpful and considerate the staff are. Exceptional staff who really do everything they can to help. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Visited the Drylaw Edinburgh Pharmacy to have blood drawn for a private blood test.
The Pharmacy is not located in the most salubrious part of Edinburgh. However, the front desk staff were efficient and helpful.
The Phlebotomist was excellent. She was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I didn’t feel the needle going in and no bruising the day after, which has not always been the case when I’ve had blood taken elsewhere.
I would have given 5 starts for the Dears staff, but the location of the Pharmacy brings it down and I would not use Dears in Drylaw again simply due to the location and congregation of people waiting to collect their methadone (my assumption).
Extremely unhelpful. Have refused to accept any more deliveries of my urostomy prescription from Fittleworth (sent to pharmacy, as I work away from home most of the week for delivery to house).
Previous pharmacies, when I lived & worked away from home were more than willing, but somehow it's far too much of a burden for Dears.
I will be asking my local GP surgery if I can avoid using them for any more prescriptions.
Went to get blood test and there were some things missing from the test pack but Charlie called the clinic and sorted everything thing out for me and I re booked the test later in the day. Very helpful!!!
