Another great consultation with Lauren at Dears pharmacy Leslie. Lauren is easy to talk to and she puts you at ease.
Total crap. Rang both chemists for 45 min and got no reply, there have been little mistakes since they started but for none of them to answer a phone is pathetic, i need my inhaler so il have to wait till 10.30 and ring the doctors
Great service, very nice people. Charlotte was very helpful with my blood test. I was served very quickly.
Been using the pharmacy for around 6 months now, everytime I've been in I've been seen straight away.
Would like to thank Lauren the pharmacist for the help on my journey with monjauro. Gave me the kick I needed
I can’t thank Lauren enough for the support she gave me at the Leslie pharmacy. I was a bit nervous about starting Mounjaro and had lots of questions, but she was so patient and kind. She explained everything clearly and put my mind at ease.
What stood out most was how she genuinely listened — I never felt rushed, and she gave me the confidence I needed to begin treatment. It’s obvious she truly cares about the people she helps, and that made such a difference.
Lauren is a real credit to the pharmacy, and I’m very grateful for her support.
Avoid this place if you value your hearing! Inexperienced staff who are far from confident and who have to frequently seek advice form other staff.
Avoid!!
Lauren the pharmacist at Dears pharmacy in Leslie fife is an absolute asset. She is so knowledgeable about the weight loss injection Mounjaro. I was so sceptical starting this weight loss journey. But when you have someone like Lauren, who has studied this weight loss injection, and who clearly cares about how her clients are doing. It makes the arduous process so much more easier when it’s with someone like Lauren. Because she really does care about the outcome, that Mounjaro can give if you listen to a real professional like Lauren… Thankyou xx
Lauren was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Popped into pharmacy 19/09/2025 after my recent holiday Lauren 5hr pharmacist saw me as av been ill so she saw me and prescribed some medication for me.was much appreciated.
I have made the mistake from GOING FROM THE FRYING PAN INTO THE FIRE FOR SURE, this Pharmacy is one of the worse Pharmacies to get any of your prescriptions from they either have medication from a month back although they are asked several times what has happened to my medication especially as it has been a controlled medication (oxycodone) disappearing and my GP Practice searching who has lifted the meds through its barcode or the fact they seem to never have any of the prescriptions made up although given prier noticed asking if they have everything ready only to be told yes but finding out it is a lie and half your prescription isn't there and your owed insulin or needles and pack of 4 libra 2 sensors are also A Wall, with no slip information on what is owed regarding your prescription, or my husband goes into the pharmacy to pick up my medication only to find out he has to go back in and explain they have left some of the script out, unfortunately this has happened more than 5 or 6 times and now he is frustrated and angry due to there inability to do there job although given plenty of opportunities such as being contacted and ask if all the prescription is available and ready to be collected only to find out not all the items are there just like yesterday 16th September 2025 that no controlled medication was ordered in ( so all night I was crying due to pain and spasms) and no insulin needles having to use the same needles for a couple of days and for him to go to collect the medication needed but once again the same issue regarding the pain medication missing with a few more items also missing after myself phoning to make sure everything would be available and once again having to go back that same day asking what is the issue why has it happened again and given the same old excuse we are "SORRY". This has caused a few arguments and to be honest I can't blame his frustrations. Yes the staff are friendly and polite but one staff member at the front counter whilst I assume the Pharmacist and three assistants at the rear standing and talking about Christmas parties coming up and other mundane gossip may be the issue that this Pharmacy in Armadale have customers coming in and raising their voice's in connection about prescription not being available after three to four weeks notice and in another issue was my husband was given someone else's prescription instead of his own is so unprofessional causing unhappy and disgruntled customers. Come on Dears Pharmacy in Armadale pull your socks up and give the customers the service we all require and deserve.
Fantastic travel advice and vaccination service at the Dunfermline branch - Kamil was incredibly helpful
I have been using the Leslie branch for the last 2 years and more recently for mounjaro weight loss. The staff are just brilliant, very polite, discreet and professional at all times. Especially Lauren who is helping me with my weight loss journey. The support is fantastic. Well done team Leslie
Couldn’t get an appointment at my usual doctors, so phoned around. I spoke to Lauren at the Leslie branch of Dears pharmacy. She listened to me, sounded my chest, took my blood pressure & my stats. I couldn’t have found a more helpful & friendly person to help me. Thanks to Lauren I will hopefully be on the mend soon. Sylvia
I have now moved out of the area but thought I should leave a review as the staff were always really friendly and helpful. It's a shame this won't be my local pharmacy anymore.
Lauren has been absolutely amazing lifts u up when u think ur failing. She's a wee 💎 x
I'm very pleased with the service provided by Dears Pharmacy at Ferry Road. Whenever I needed a blood test, they were excellent. Charlie is very attentive, kind, and professional when it comes to collecting blood. Thank you very much! Gabriela
Perhaps the most rude shop staff I’ve ever encountered, they actively walk away when you step into the shop.
Not only rude, totally incompetent, lied to me that my medication was in, another member of staff told me it wasn’t and to return for a 3rd time.
Fortunately another member of staff overheard this and made it up for me on the spot.
terrible service I went in worried about a rash I had and she didn’t even look at me she turned me away and asked for my family’s number and dates of birthdays without even looking for my symptoms! Would not recommend went for help and got brushed off
Several times my family's prescriptions have either had medication missing or they don't have stock even though you get the same prescription from them all the time. The staff are not helpful and it takes ages for them to get you an answer and their response is usually it's the GP's fault
I’ve previously left a glowing review for this company. At that time, they didn’t have an actual pharmacy in my town but had a small store where you could hand in your prescription and it would be either put in their collection machine or delivered if there were controlled drugs. I found them to be be very quick and on the ball. Often I’d get my prescription filled on the same day, even though their actual pharmacy was a good few miles away. They then took over our local pharmacy and I was so very happy as I’d been so impressed with their efficiency. I don’t know what happened, but they very quickly became every bit as bad as the Lloyds that inhabited their premises previously. They’re so slow with monthly prescriptions. It’d take a couple of days before as I get quite a few things, but now I’m lucky if I get it within a week. The staff are lovely so it must be the setup in the shop, but there is no improvement from Lloyds, sadly
