I recently bought a coat that turned out to have a manufacturing defect on delivery. When I wanted to return it, it turned out that I had to pay shipping costs again when ordering a new coat. It was not possible to exchange the coat free of charge. After contacting the after-sales service via chat, I was very kindly helped and I received a code to buy a new coat free of shipping costs. The return was obviously for free. It was also very convenient that the return could be done via DPD, who came to collect the package at home. I am a very satisfied customer!

This is the worst online shopping company ever, Its been more than a month since I returned a product and still I get stupid screenshots from customer services telling me that the product has not been collected from DPD.
Situation is as such;
1. bought a jacket and paid online
2. Jacket arrived after 4-5 days and immediately after testing repackaged and prepared for a return
3. Went on the website of Defacto and followed their instruction to return
4. Next day DPD courier arrived without any notice what so ever. Anyway courier picked-up package and since then its been more than a month.
5. contacted customer services multiple times and they try to waste your time by asking you to do their job for them. ask you for information over and over again
eventually after a month of back and forth emails, you are still at the same point. no refund and nothing useful.
NEVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM DEFACTO and I advice every online shopper NEVER BUY FROM DEFACTO, go to ZALANDO, SHEIN, ASOS these are a million times better.
