When I was younger

When I was younger, I adored snowboarding and actually I didn't know better than DC shoes outfit for snowboarding.
They are creating waterproof and windproof jackets which perfectly suit riding purposes.
Sometimes in summer I also purchased their sneakers which were so popular back in the day. They perfectly matched those guys who were fond of skating. I wasn't keen on skating, but my friends were, and they always wore DC shoes sneakers.

Thieves

Thieves. Ordered on €72.80 worth of items on July 1, 2023 from DC Shoes Spain and, a month later, have not received items. The shipping company has declared the package as lost and told me that they have informed DC who has insurance and bears the responsibility to make the buyer whole. Not DC, evidently! No customer service number or email, just an online form which they only send generic, non-helpful responses to my complaint. I called DC headquarters in California and they pretty much hung up on my face, saying they are not affiliated with European offices. This company has very bad business practices, and no customer support. Amazing that they are publicly traded! Avoid at all costs!

Comfortable but not durable

Comfortable shoes and great style. However, I have only had them 3 months of simple everyday casual wear and the heel on one of the soles is deteriorating both inside and on the bottom of the shoe. Really expected these to last a lot longer, but soon they will have to be thrown away.

Only shipped half my order and lied about the rest

Ordered 3 items at the same time and the same order. DC split the order into 2 shipments for some reason and then proceeded to only ship 1 item while the other 2 just sat there.
The second shipment kept saying label created while the other was in transit on its way.
Called DC customer service and the guy tells me that both shipments were in transit and the tracker was wrong and would update when it hit the Canadian border. I asked 3 separate times if both shipments were in transit, just to make sure i heard correctly, and he assured me all 3 times both shipments left the US warehouse and were in transit in the US currently.
4 days later the first shipment arrives while the other still just said label created. Noticed though, on the tracking it said label created in Canada so I thought I'd call and make sure.
The second guy tells me there was an error in the CANADIAN warehouse where the second shipment was coming from and would not be able to ship the order but instead would only cancel and refund my money.
So the first guy straight out lied about my order to avoid conflict and in the end, my wife got her shoes and I didn't get anything but a refund for my items.
This is now the second shipping issue with DC. The first time it took close to 2 months to receive my order but figured I'd give them a second chance.
I've now learned my lesson and will never order from them again!!
Love their products but the customer service people are liars and shipping team is absolutely horrible.

returns

bought some shoes - correct size but way too tight, trying to return the shoes is a nightmare, the system doesn't seem set up for customer ease, its as if its made as difficult as possible to deter returns, awful service

Expensive but cheap all around.

Bought my son a expensive named brand pair of shoes thinking it will definitely last until he grows out of it in a year. In about 6 months the velcro stopped working all together and the shoes started to fray and Crack/rip with very little use. After contacting head office I just got a computerized responsed saying "thank-you we care about your opinion blah blah blah". my son has 3 other pairs of shoes all in better condition and all cheaper. He has to switch shoes all day depending where he is. Daycare, school or at home. So they aren't used outside and the bottom rubber is still perfect as the rest of the shoe has fallen apart.

Winter boots SENECA failed - Plastic piece error design

I have to say that the shoes are almost three years old but one of the plastic pieces broke on the fifth day of use. They are alternative winter boots to my Panama Jack that I only use on cold days and when the others are wet.
Bought at WSM Oldenburg (Germany), good personal treatment but no one has taken responsibility. The condition of the shoes is perfect.

After that, I am using these shoes way often. The left one is failing as well, not in the same point but splitting at the seam, where the orange plastic piece is sewn.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Sent in a return over a month ago, nothing since. No refund, no anything. Customer service is non existent. Provided tracking number information, everything I needed, was basically told to get bent.

Customer care is non existent

Customer care is non existent. They give you a discount code for signing up. It comes off your order then they try to sneak it back on just as you’re about to click confirm order. No one replies on messenger and then if you try to email it just says “try sending your message again” Total time wasters. Glad I dodged a bullet. Plenty of other manufacturers that have a decent level of customer care

You have to be less "sustainable

You have to be less "sustainable, resilient, vegan and inclusive" and bring back the old quality. I was a big fan of DC shoes, i had mor then 20 pairs. My very first pair of DC Pure least mor then 5 years! And now? The quality is so bad. Pair least at least few months. Poor quality materials and my last order had one show few a half cm. Larger then other.

Ever since quick silver bought the…

Ever since quick silver bought the company it has been trash. The shoe quality is way way down. No breathable material. Customer service is a joke. Can't cancel an order EVER. the shoe prices are the highest around. Cancel orders without saying anything. I have nothing good to say after being an amazing customer for multiple years.

In the past i have been very critical…

In the past i have been very critical of this company due to the issues with brexit and their complete lack of customer services, however, recently, like many of you I am a lover of their gear and thought i'd give them the benefit of the doubt and here's my opinion. I've bought a number of items in a couple of seperate orders over the past month or so and on a whole things have improved. For clothing which can be delivered from their UK distribution channels things are fast and i'm receiving orders in a matter of days however things coming from their brussels distribution centre are alot slower but not months like before. Thankfully, i've not had to call or contact their customer services so i can't comment on that but on a whole i feel there are some improvements which is allowing me the confidence in purchasing the merch again..

I wish I had checked trustpilot before…

I wish I had checked trustpilot before buying from these amateurs. Placed order on the 22/7/22, website states delivery in 7 to 10 days. It’s been almost two weeks now and my order is yet to be handed to the courier.
It took multiple emails to get a repose from their pathetic customer service who ignored my question and simply told me to keep an eye on my tracking number despite not even having one. Buy from these clowns at your own risk. I certainly will never buy from them again.

Edit to add update: still not received my order. Contacted courierDPD who informed me they have not been given my parcel/order, that they have only received the shipping details to date. Have tried contacting DCshoes via their website and social media platforms, all of which have been ignored. Even tried ringing the phone number on their website +44 808 164 1432 (video recorded this for evidence) several times and you just get cut off. Will now be contacting trading standards and my banks fraud dept

Don't order from their website.

Don't order from their website.
The delivery should take 7 to 10 days but in reality one should be lucky if they get to post it in that time.
The costumer service is worthless and when the excuses don't do the job simply stop answer to simple question where is my order and why is not shipped yet.
