Extremely bad and truly a scam. There is nothing as bad as Dancenter. And somehow they even lie in Trustpilot. They say that they will help but all they do is delete comments.
Stay away from Dancenter at all costs.

Got in around 8pm. The house has bo bedding. The dishwasher hasn't been emptied. Fridge is not clean. And the working hours of rhe company are until 5pm. This is shocking for a company that operates in holiday homes.

Paid a packet and got the worst ever service and house.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! WARNING! Whatever you do, do not use this! I booked a house at Airbnb on Gotland this summer (6 months in advance!) less than one week before they had cancelled the booking on their own link they sent out but not on Airbnb so we were not aware of this. I only found out by checking out the link for details on how to get the key. When contacting them on this matter I only received automatic replies and they tried to make me cancelling the booking on my end so that I would not get a full refund, only mentioning Airbnb support in a sneaky way so they can defend themselves to complaints.

The house is nicely furnished, but when we arrived the whole house smelled strongly of cat urine, bad smell in general and it was very dirty.

They send a cleaning team to do the main cleaning two days later, they fix it dirty - the smell is still there, and bad smell, then many calls have been made to the Dancenter with no result

The house promises television with Netflix. The remote control cannot be found and the television cannot be set manually, it is only found "misplaced" on the 5th day.

Last night (Wednesday) the sewer overflows, it is high and far into the floor, one bathroom with pee and faeces.

We have continuously tried to contact the dance center but in vain. The nearest physical dance center is 1.5 hours away.

We are told by e-mail that the problem has been solved with main cleaning so we can calculate e-mail and picture have not been read/seen as the challenge is not the same, we contact again. (This time the bathroom with feces and pee)

It is obviously not possible to get in touch with Dancenter despite repeated attempts.
We have spent time on this from day one, and it ends up 5 days out of 7!

We want compensation as we have had to stay in a house that stinks (continued), spent far too much time calling, e-mailing - without contact for the most part had to defend, had to be away from the house, first on due to cleaning, so sludge cleaners have been 2 times before this was solved, we had to clean to be able to be here, as well as clean the oven, see picture

Where there were large cobwebs, thick clumps of dust, all tables that were greasy/dirty on arrival.
Dead (many) Flies lying on the floor/windows
Greasy finger on windows, children's hands generally greasy which have not been washed/polished yet
Stove that was not cleaned at all as you can see, the oven dish was full of grease as well as the grate and stove.

Unprofessional and ignorant.
Booked a cabin in Stöten for skiing, months in advance, and paid for it.
One week prior to the trip, they sent a mail, with "Thank you for your cancellation" in the title, in the main text they then informed me that the cabin is not build yet (the pictures should a cabin from probably the 80s).
Called the customer service, who said they have no other accommodation.
I asked what about my expenses (e.g. day care for pets booked where it was too late to cancel, luckily we did not purchase ski pass or rented equipment yet).
They asked me to sent a mail with all issues, but they only answered with a generic apology mail.
When I asked regarding compensation, they just send the apology again.
Luckily I had booked via booking.com who refunded directly.
Never again.

Dancenter has unfortunately become a completely dubious company that no longer has anything to do with the once renowned holiday home rental company that it was. It is sad to see it being destroyed in this way by the new owner.

Like so many others, my holiday was cancelled even though I had received written confirmation from the office on Rømø (or maybe it was from India) that this would not happen.

I recommend using other holiday home rental companies.

VARNING!!! Dancenter/minstuga/stugsommar in Sälen is a scam. I booked a house in Stöten 16-23/3 and I payed the bill sent to me. They provide houses/cabins in Sälen that you can book through booking.com. But close to your booked period they will cancel your booking, without reason. They dont answer mail and I have not got my money refunded! Finally I got hold of their telephone service and they said that there are no cabins at all available in winter time... So they let you book something not available, they let you pay and they dont refund the money. DO NOT USE DANCENTER!

The house was filled with bugs and had a nasty smell of moist. The smell was stuck on all belongings and nothing could get dry in the house because of the moist. We paid the electricity bill at the Dancenter office before leaving but were later asked to pay the same bill again. This process is not yet over even though we have sent account information of the transaction.

Styr unna DanCenter! Har leid flere hus gjennom dette byrået, og manglende rengjøring går igjen gang etter gang. Ved siste ferieopphold i Danmark, fikk vi også et mareritt av et hus (Husnr. 03906, Bratten Strand).

- Det var meget skittent, med både støv, skitten oppvask, matrester i kjøleskapet osv. Møblene var flekkete.
- Det var svært kaldt (tidlig april), det var tomt for ved, og det manglet varmeovn på et av soverommene barna skulle bo på
- Trappen opp til 2.etasje er fryktelig bratt, og egner seg ikke for barn, eldre, hund osv.
- Håndtaket på døren inn til et av soverommene manglet skruer og falt av
- Døren inn til råloftet på et av soverommene kunne ikke lukkes. Dette var svært ubehagelig og lite barnevennlig.
- Barnesengen som står nevnt i annonseteksten, manglet, og det minste barnet på 1 år hadde ingen seng å sove i.
- Skitne utemøbler i dårlig stand, og det lå ølkorker rundt på uteplassen
- OBS!! Vannkranen på kjøkkenet er feilmarkert, og der det er merket kaldt vann, kommer det i stedet glovarmt vann. Dette resulterte i at en av oss brant oss!
- Det kan ikke ses at dette huset har vært renovert i senere tid, svært slitt og enkel standard. Bildene i annonsen gir derimot er et annet, misvisende inntrykk.

Huset var så lite barnevennlig at vi var nødt til å flytte ut, og finne et annet hus. Vi måtte dermed bruke masse ekstra penger på dette, og fikk ikke refundert beløpet for dette huset, til tross for de omfattende manglene.

Og det mest skuffende var nok den manglende hjelpen vi fikk av lokalkontoret i Ålbæk. Makan til dårlig kundeservice skal man lete lenge etter. Fikk ikke så mye som en beklagelse en gang. Selv ved innsendt klage til leieservice, ble vi møtt med svært liten imøtekommenhet. DanCenter verdsetter helt tydelig ikke sine gode kunder.

Lei heller gjennom byrået "Sol og strand". Fantastiske mennesker, som strekker seg mer enn langt for kundene sine.

We had a bad experience with this house!
- It was very dirty, with both dust, dirty dishes and leftover food in the fridge etc. The furniture was stained.
- It was very cold, there was no wood, and there was no heating in one of the bedrooms the children were to stay in
- The stairs up to the 2nd floor are terribly steep, and are not suitable for children, elderly, dogs etc.
- The handle on the door to one of the bedrooms was missing screws and fell off
- The door to the raw attic in one of the bedrooms could not be closed. This was very unpleasant and not child-friendly.
- The children's bed mentioned in the advertisement text was missing, and the youngest child, aged 1, had no bed to sleep in.
- The outdoor furniture was very dirty and in bad condition. There was beer caps laying around on the ground.
- ATTENTION!! The water tap in the kitchen is wrongly marked, and where cold water is marked, scalding hot water comes out instead. This resulted in one of us getting burned!
- It cannot be seen that this house has been renovated in recent years, very worn and simple standard. The pictures in the advertisement gives you a different, misleading impression.

The house was so unsuitable for children that we had no other choice than to move out and find another house. We therefore had to spend a lot of extra money on this, and were not reimbursed the amount for this house, despite the extensive deficiencies.

And the most disappointing thing was probably the lack of help we received from the local office in Ålbæk. The worst customer service we've ever had to deal with. Didn't even get so much as an apology. Even when submitting a complaint to the rental service, we were met with very little hospitality. DanCenter clearly does not value its good customers.

Rather rent through the agency "Sol og strand". Fantastic people, who go above and beyond for their customers.

Absolute Amateurs. I've just come to the end of staying in multiple DanCenter accommodations which were both booked directly and via Airbnb and the level of service and professionalism is quite simply shocking.

I am just waiting for their final payment reminder warning now after they sent me an invoice from a noreply email address with incorrect bank details and even though I messaged the local office, I don't expect a reply as they never replied to my last reply weeks ago.

I can't begin to list all of the other silly little details what makes this service so poor as I have already wasted enough time and energy on them.

Absolute garbage company, which is a shame because the concept is great and some of the accommodations are good too.

Never again DanCenter

There are lots reputable and honest home rental companies and individuals in Blåvand. DanCenter Blåvand is unfortunately not one of them. This we have learned first hand in these past few months. The lack of customer service and understanding is unlike anything we have ever experienced after 40 plus years of worldwide house rentals, Airbnb, etc. without problems.
A little background:
We (Two adults) wanted a little relaxing holiday during the Corvid lockdown this past winter. We found what we thought was a reasonably good deal with DanCenter for a house with sauna and spa bad.
The house we rented far from met our expectations, cold and dusty, with kitchen drawers either missing or falling apart when pulling out. Dials on stove, sauna and heating were worn and illegible. The spa bath was unfortunately not functioning. We (in hindsight our big mistake) decided not to make a big issue over things and trying instead to enjoy our stay. We figured that we were only staying a couple of days and didn’t want to use cost bare time complaining about irritating things that didn’t function optimal. We did contact them multiple times about the spa bad (one of the reasons we booked this house) but to no avail.
Seeing as we were only in the house for thee whole days, were only using one of the three bedrooms, and removing our shoes and jackets in the entrance before entering the house we opted to clean the house ourselves.
We used the final day of our stay cleaning the house to a standard that far exceeded the condition we found on arrival.
We checked out at the local office and received the utilities bill for our ca. 90 hour stay. The amount owed according to DanCenter calculations was
kr. 1306.30 (€ 175)!! We pointed out that this was a preposterous amount for 3 whole days but were told that that was the cost. Grudgingly we paid this absurd amount as arguing with the service personal was futile and we were on our way home. So a bitter end to a few days in beautiful Blåvand…. Or so we thought. Two weeks later we receive a mail demanding payment for cleaning. The additional costs for cleaning of
kr. 1150 (€ 155).
We found this insulting and completely out of proportion. They sent a stack of photos claiming proof of our negligence. Most were of little or insignificant “infractions” and not very visible. The time used to take the photos could have been used to tidy up the supposed infractions. No mater how much we objected outrageous amount of money demanded by DanCenter Blåvand, or our attempts to reason with them that a full payment for cleaning on top of a rental that was far from perfect, we were met by a stone wall of denial. This is after our best assessment, terrible customer service. So our 4 night stay cost us almost as much for utilities and cleaning as the rental itself!! Our little getaway to Blåvand was a expensive lesson in being nice and reasonable is not a good tactic when dealing with people who are only interested in sucking as much money from tourists as possible!
Therfore: NEVER AGAIN DANCENTER!!
If you have already booked with DanCenter Blåvand make sure to take photos of everything and anything that doesn’t meet a 6 star hotel quality …(even the tiniest dust spot on a brownish tile floor behind a sofa) and complain both physically and in writing from arrival day.
Being nice or overbearing is not a option when dealing with this company. Their mindset seams to be “how we can we squeeze every kroner from our customers without lifting a finger when needed”. They don’t understand good customer service so you have to sink to their level to avoid getting ripped off!
It is hard to prove that this systematic cheating of customers with this company but a little research on Facebook showed us that many others have had similar episodes when dealing with DanCenter.
Perhaps the Indian Oyo-concern who now own DanCenter/Danland is unaware of these local bad actors. We would hope so as it can’t be in any investors interest to be a short sited company and have many unsatisfied customers.

The usual response from this company after a bad review is to advise you to contact their customer service...
The reply after numerous contacts with this customer service was that we should take it up with the local
(DanCenter Blåvand) office.
This sounds reasonable except for the fact that the local office is the one delivering bad service and they are the problem!
It seems like DanCenter is not seriously interest in having satisfied customers

Super service, rart personale i DanCenter.
Huset vi lejede var i top klassen.

Our reservation was cancelled because of the Corona virus. OK, no problem, we'll move it to next year....
Same house, same dates, one year later: price went up from 2278 kr to 5200 kr! They know they got you cornered because of the voucher, so they can ask whatever they want. Shame on you, Dancenter!!

- Huset var ikke rengjort når vi ankom. Vi sa i fra om dette, og de fikk sendt noen til å rengjøre.
- Det var en stor og en liten varmtvannsbereder og det var bare den lille som var slått på. Dette fant vi ikke ut før etter 2 dager, slik at vi ikke hadde nok varmtvann til alle.
- Det ble vannlekkasje i kjeller, slik at kjelleren ble oversvømt. Det førte til at sikringen i kjeller kortsluttet. Vi prøvde å ringe DanCenter sin hotline, men de stengte klokken 19 på kvelden. Vi fikk heldigvis tak i huseier.
- Ved avreise klaget vi til DanCenter og krevde kompensasjon, men dette ble avslått. Vi kommer aldri til å leie igjennom DanCenter igjen.

- The house was not properly cleaned when we arrived. We called and complained, and they sent someone to clean.
- In the basement there was one big and one little water heater, and only the little one was turned on. We didnt find this out until after 2 days. So we didnt have enough hot water for everyone for 2 days.
- There was a water leakage in the basement which caused a flooding. This shorted the fuse for the basement. We tried calling DanCenter own hotline but they were closed after 7 p.m. Luckily we got a hold of the houseowner.
- When checking out we complained about all the above mentioned and wanted compensation, but this was denied. We will never rent through DanCenter again.
