The DaCast PC software has a few areas that do not work well. My chat with Mac went well and he said he will put in a report to fix the areas that are not working well or correctly.

We've had an issue that we've been trying to get resolution on for over two days. We spoke to multiple customer service reps who appeared to just be "kicking the can down the road", so we were getting absolutely no resolution, but instead just lip service. FINALLY, I was fortunate enough to get on a chat with Daryll Lee. He was OUTSTANDING and actually resolved our time critical issue instead of just passing us along to others. I would STRONGLY recommend that you have Daryll Lee start training other reps on how to actual resolve customer issues. Before getting to him, I would've rated Dacast customer service as a 0 out of 10. He completely changed the game with the knowledge and persistence.

I switched from IBM/ustream, so far dacast has been great, i stream to about 250 clients simultaneously, so far been great, i will update in a few months with how it continues to perform.
I'm currently using wirecast but am switching to stream directly from a atem mini pro.

We tried the free trial with Dacast, as we have been using Youtube as a platform for the last three years and our issue with Youtube was the link changing when the wifi went down, so we would have to create a whole new link again for the client.
With Dacast this seems to not be an issue. We used the trial with OBS Studio and we found it very easy to set-up and use. The link remains regardless of whether you have internet connection issues or not. The only problems we encountered with the Limited Access Trial was that it told us that when connecting to the UK it was "busy", so Dacast told us to use the US connection and then this was fine. We worried that this would be a problem when it is busy, but Dacast tell us it automatically uses/switches to the next region that is available. Also, the iphones or ipads viewing the stream, would turn off every 10 minutes, but we have been assured this is only with the trial version and not with the paid package. I have yet to purchase the actual DaCast membership, but will be doing so soon.
Poor customer service and incomplete platform.
