I’m a retired university professor. Based on my personal experience, I’d give DaBella’s Boise branch negative five stars, if that were possible. This is based on project management, fraudulent communication skills, financial misconduct, dishonest lobbying efforts, and one and two-star reviews. Definitely pay attention to the ratings, along with everything else I mentioned; they reflect what I’ve dealt with and what you likely will too.
The Boise reps acted like they walked on water at the beginning. Before the project began, they asked if I was happy so far. I said I was. A salesman took my phone and went on to give DaBella a very high rating—supposedly on my behalf. I found out later that he not only gave them a very high rating, but an exceedingly high one. This was before the project even started.
But that’s just the beginning of this horror story.
A good friend (a former Green Beret) was there when one of the Boise salesmen offered me a $30,000 discount. The reason? I financially supported and still support an orphanage with over 200 kids (many with special needs, such as Down Syndrome). He seemed very sympathetic, but buyer beware. I found out the rate they actually charged me was $17,000 more than the highest competitors for similar projects.
On top of that, they leaned in heavily to false and exaggerated sales pitches. Case in point: They insisted my siding had serious damage. They emphasized that replacement was the best solution. But another professional and I observed the process. In a nutshell, the workers’ claims were untrue.
There was also a great deal of laziness and arbitrary actions on their part. They promised to replace a number of boards, because hornets tend to nest in moist areas. At least, that’s what they claimed. That might be true. But they just covered the boards up after a number of follow ups. That’s what led me to later replace the sidings.
But the horrors continued.
They also didn’t install the bathroom window, which was a part of the contract we drew up. And they destroyed my lawn on the south and east sides of my home. Last I checked, they claimed to support home improvement, not home destruction!
On top of all these issues, they brought many supplies without any protective covers whatsoever during heavy rain and snow. I followed up, but they took no further action. This weather continued for several weeks.
If these experiences sound familiar, they should. These are similar to those of other customers who’ve reviewed DaBella. Many have said that workers didn’t start at the promised time. Not even a week or two close to the promised time, for that matter. They also made it clear that management made minimal to mediocre efforts to help them solve their problems.
Then there’s the matter of compensation and follow-up.
DaBella’s Boise manager promised to compensate me for the siding, incomplete bathroom window, and the lawn destruction. After emails, texts, calls, and visits to their office, they didn’t respond in any shape or form. The proof is in the pudding.
My Green Beret friend also was present when the discount-emphasizing salesman also offered an 8.5% interest rate. He promised he’d give me information about the financing company that DaBella would contract with. I told him that my bank might offer a better rate, and that I had other financing options, including a lump sum payment.
Yet another horrific twist: the financing.
I got a surprise email from a financing company, without any heads-up from DaBella. I also got a 9.99% interest rate, rather than the promised 8.5%. And my signature was forged on the financial documents they sent. Let me just restate that DaBella never gave me this financing company’s name. I never signed a single document for this company. The financing company claims they’re “investigating” the matter, but they haven’t given me the investigative summary I’ve requested.
In a nutshell, I don’t want my fellow Americans, especially vulnerable seniors, going through this. Please be very cautious when it comes to DaBella’s promises, especially in Boise.

Alex and Dawson were great. Their professionalism, patience, understanding and courteous demeanor was outstanding and honestly was the final reason why we decided to go ahead with the purchase. Very well done.
DaBella's does not live up to any of their promises. having our house shingled by them was a big mistake. They sent a crew that could not speak or understand English at all. They refuse to honor their promise of reimbursing us for having our satellite dishes repointed. The crew left all of the debris from the roofing spread all over our yard leaving my wife and I to clean it up. I didn't expect the process to be smooth, but dealing with them is not worth it. Do not trust this company at all.

Brandon Bennett was very courteous and professional in his role. With a sense of humor, and patience, he walked My wife and I through the product offered in a knowledgeable manner. He represented his company in a manner that built trust in that what he said would be true. When it came to a price for what we wanted, he was diligent in helping close at an acceptable cost.
What a terrible company the sales people lied to us about their roof shingles for one saying they had glass material in the Roofing shingles and they wouldn’t mess up for 10 years. They messed up almost after a year the warranty through Gaf we reached out and followed a claim because when we sold our house, we would’ve never known that there was mold in the attic because the roof installers installed the ridge vents improperly. They’re all closed, not open like they should’ve been so many bad things about the installation the boards at the center of the roof looked like they were cut with a jigsaw, and not a circular saw. There were crew looked really unprofessional and like no way they were certified roofers. They agreed to get rid of my satellite dish off the roof, left it hanging by the wire off the back of my house and when we file a claim with the Gaf warranty, they went to DaBella and spoke to Chase and the general manager Christopher Roarty and told them they needed to make it right for the $1900 we had to pay to have the mold removed out of our attic from the improper installation job and their response to us was there was only a two year warranty and they weren’t gonna do anything about it even though the Gaf Representative said you should make this right horrible roofing company, horrible people inferior installation jobs and if you’ve had a roof put on by then you should have it inspected to make sure it was done right because I doubt it was.

Hunter just stopped by to make sure I am 100% satisfied with my siding. And boy oh boy am I satisfied. His knowledge and expertise is what I expect with a project like this. Thank you Dabella
This company is terrible. Very pushy over priced bad communication they lie about the people they call installers. The got me to sign after 6 hours a contract for my roof. Took a 1000 cash deposit and then 3 weeks later without telling me they canceled my job because it was too small insignificant they
Said. I asked for my money back and have been waiting for 3 weeks. My roof leaks and my floors are sinking in one area. I need the money now to get someone else to do it. They keep saying my check has been mailed. That’s also a lie. Do not trust them

I was approached unsolicited by a DaBella representative who stated the appointment would take approximately 10 minutes of my time. Based on that representation, I agreed to schedule a visit.
The in-home appointment lasted nearly three hours, and over an hour of that required my direct involvement. This was significantly different from what was promised.
During the meeting, the sales approach relied heavily on urgency and pressure to sign a contract on the spot for a project costing thousands of dollars. When I declined to make an immediate decision, I was told that I was being “ignorant” about the condition of my home. I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional.
While I understand that exterior renovation is a serious investment, I believe homeowners should be given space to evaluate options, obtain second opinions, and make informed decisions without pressure or disparaging remarks.

Noah was my sales rep. out of the Yakima store. He was very well prepared in his presentation.
Today is Feb 4, 2026...one year since I made the biggest mistake of my 73 and a half years of living. Signed a contract for windows.
1. Was told by sales rep I would receive warranty documents. On November 5, 2025 confirmed by text with Bryan that he would deliver to be that day around 3 and would call first. No call, NEVER heard a thing from him since.
2. Have had issues with picture window installation. First wasn't anchored properly. Was adjusted. When City Inspection came on OCTOBER 30, 2025 he did not pass as side sliders were deemed to difficult to move. Have called Dabella consistently since...so far no action.
Company has the worst customer service! The only time they have made the iniative to call me was when they wanted money! And to schedule initial installation
I've tried calling yesterday and again this morning....different times of the day. (Plus to many times to count prior!) Placed on extended holds!
Again....worst company I've ever had to work with....and I've used many during my life?
We thought we were getting great windows. With all the windows installed, some of the windows matched. At least have them match in the same room. It looked like they ran out of supplies so they put unfinished wood in some of the windows. Did they think we wouldn’t notice?
What sold me with Noah and Blake is the easy cleaning windows. They made a big deal out of this. This is what sold us. Not so. Not one window has the feature. Thats called dishonesty. It’s like the windows were an afterthought. Poor workmanship. We complained. That’s not all we asked for. 30,000 dollars for windows we didn’t ask for. Nothing they sold us on was done except triple pane windows but not sure if I trust that.
Then Josh comes out. Acted like he is interested in our concerns but is only going to replace the raw wood windows. Lol. He said oh that’s a sales issue. So one hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing. I call it dishonest from the start. Poor business practices if you ask me.
This company is definitely a scam. We regret not checking the BBB complaints before getting involved with them. They push potential clients into signing contracts, which is a clear sign of their unethical practices. Additionally, the staff is quite rude.
I would never do business with DaBella they are pushy as h*ll!! A few years ago i requested for them to come out and do a quote for windows and before I knew it they also wanted to do a quote on my roof as well and they kept telling me we'll our supervisor won't let us leave until we close on a sale. They were only suppose to be at our house for 45 minutes and 2hours later they would not leave! My husband had to throw them out of our house! And now currently they call nearly everyday. I have had to block them! I couldn't imagine being stuck in a contract with them! If they won't even leave your home imagine how shady they are!!
This company is completely dishonest. The salesperson Mateo DeLeon lied about extending time period to consider accepting contract, then used a credit card they were not authorized to use. Total invalidation of consumer's requests and concerns, and obfuscation of process to cancel out.
Avoid this company at all costs. They are not to be trusted.
Cole T. And Landon G. We're very very helpful in the window market and they explained in good detail how well the product is made and installed by professional Carpenters if you have any questions they have the answers

their first quote was insanely high. pushiest salesman I've ever met (named kai). He did finally give a reasonable price, so i signed up... over the next few days, he kept coming back, having me constantly saying i had to re-sign documents. wasting hours of my time... retrospectively, i should have told him to get out!
The worst part is, he was supposed to send me the photos he took, so i can give them to my insurance company. he never sent any photos.
I've emailed him multiple times, he does not have the courtesy to even respond. it seems that once he has your signature, he doesn't give a damn about his customers.
Had I known how badly they treat customers after they sign on, i would have kicked his butt off my property immediately.

So that we can better assist, please reach out to us directly at 855-322-3552 (option 1). This way, we can identify your project and ensure you receive the dedicated support you deserve."
WTH... I JUST HAD THE ROOF INSTALLED LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AGO, NOW THEY ARE CLAIMING THAT I DON'T EXIST... I GUESS IT IS TIME TO USE MY LEGAL PLAN AND RETAIN A LAWYER, AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB!

Formal Complaint Regarding Repeated Unsolicited Calls
I am filing a complaint against your company, DaBella, and the marketing company you have contracted to generate leads. This month alone, I have received no fewer than two dozen calls from your marketing partner.
Despite multiple requests for these calls to stop, they have persisted. It was only after my own investigation that I discovered your company was the one receiving my information from this unnamed marketing firm.
I do not consent to further calls, and I find it unacceptable that the marketing company you work with continues to contact me repeatedly after being explicitly told to stop. I expect my number to be removed immediately from all call lists associated with your company and your marketing partners.

Getting your roof replaced is one of a home owner's largest expenses.
With that in mind anyone hopes for truthful salesmen who have some experience themselves in general construction. I found my salesman very knowledgeable showing me many signs of wear on my roof with recognizable pictures of my roof. The presentation process is something like buying a car...you think the process will never end. I did ,however, find that I was presented with many options for financing to suit my wishes and there was price negotioation. This process also included the explanation of DaBella's use of technology features that were unknown to me previously.
Actual application was performed 2 days earlier than expected by a crew that was "on task" most of a day beginning at @7:30am and finishing @9pm. This included removal of old roof, adding or securing &/or adjusting any roof vents, underlayment, and finally shingles.
The site was prepped with tarps over the perimiter of the house to catch all discarded debris, and the clean up at the end left my property as it looked initially. Crew was dilligent and polite.
My salesman, Westin, came by in a few days to inspect the job and ask if I had any comments or concerns regarding the finished product.I thank DaBella for providing a product and service which they guaranteed. Joan B

I was very impressed with Justin and Julian, the sales staff who came to visit me at my property to give an estimate. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and explained their product and services very well.
They were friendly and knowledgeable about their product and services. The insulated siding samples they showed were very impressive and appeared to be of the highest quality. I was impressed with the credentials of their installation teams.
They made every effort to ensure that they were taking advantage of every available promotion which could be applied to my project. Well done!
