It has a very easy and guided approach to designing a professional CV. I likes how it had a variety of templates to select from.

Signed up to a 14 day cheap trial for £2, however, when i tried to cancel before the 14 days ended, the website has been made intentionally difficult to navigate where to cancel. I've had to message their support and sent an email, still nothing - avoid at all cost!!!

Really great experience using the site. Super easy to use and helpful. I had a small issue that was quickly and efficiently resolved by one of their customer support team (Jason A). Thank you.

I wanted a one off template for my daughter who was applying for a part time job. She ended up signed to a monthly subscription which we cannot get out of. CV Genius are disputing my claim to refund the monthly payments.

Deceptive billing practices — no cancel button in account settings
I signed up for the 14-day trial and when I tried to cancel, there was simply no cancel button anywhere in the account settings. The only option available was to download a receipt.
Despite trying to cancel, CV Genius attempted to charge my card 3 times. This is completely unacceptable for a legitimate subscription service — hiding the cancellation option and continuing to attempt charges is a dark pattern that borders on fraud.
I had to contact my bank to block the charges. Avoid giving your card details to this service.

No cancel button — tried to charge my card 3 times!
Stay away from this service. I signed up for the trial, and when I wanted to cancel, I discovered there is NO cancel button in the account settings. None. The page only shows your billing dates and a receipt download button.
They still attempted to charge my card 3 separate times. I only found out when my bank flagged the repeated attempts.
This is a deliberate tactic to trap customers into paying. I had to go to my bank to stop the charges. Do not enter your card details on this website.
