This company does not stand by their…

This company does not stand by their "Guaranteed healthy plants" policy and are rude and unprofessional to their customers. They not only sent me unhealthy plants that had rotting roots, they refused to refund me for a rotten plant even when I offered to return it to them. They instead banned me from purchasing again just because they do not want to deal with the issue at hand. Do not shop here or trust the quality of their plants.

Hi Joshua, as noted in our return policies, confirmation emails, and product pages - repotting or attempting to take cuttings from a plant in the first 30 days will void our return guarantee. We typically only enforce this loosely and make exceptions for buyer's remorse or other concerns. Unfortunately, this plant was damaged beyond any recovery in a manner that was clearly not an accident or natural causes. Due to the fact that you threatened us and reported attempting to block the payment for your winning auction if we didn't comply, we unfortunately have impose our first (and hopefully only ever) customer ban. We wish the best to you and your plants, but Cultured is unfortunately not the right fit for future transactions. We appreciate this chance to respond publicly, and feel that our great customer experience record on TrustPilot supports the quality of our plants and customer service!

Wrong plant sent, but correction was quick!

I was originally sent one plant when I had ordered two. Fortunately, I received a quick response and the correct plants were shipped the same day. It was pretty inconvenient to have to rush the incorrect plant back to Fedex though.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience of having to return it. For most plants we would not ask customers to do this, particularly when the error was on our end. Me file a claim? …

I’ve done customer service for 23 years and when a client had an issue with a delivery we would file the claim for them. Never have I had a company tell me that I had to file the claim after I sent them all the photos. I feel that my plant would have been better taken care of in transit if the shipping box was labeled “fragile “ and “Live plant” so I feel the responsibility lies with the company that is shipping it not the shipper Fed EX. I was going to go forward with this with Fed Ex like I was asked to by Culture and then I thought why am I doing this? Why isn’t someone from Culture stepping up and either filing on their clients behalf or making it right? Therefore I will not be able to do business with a company that charges so much for shipping but doesn’t want to hold their shipper responsible.

Route is optional third-party shipping insurance that provides more robust coverage than shipping carriers, and is available for a small fee when you place your order. Since you purchased Route, we strongly advise customers to use this resource. It takes just a few steps to upload a picture on their app or website. Unfortunately, we cannot file claims on behalf of our customers. We did reach out to their customer service to see what we could do to to assist, but in following up with you, it sounds like the box had no physical damage and would therefore not be covered by either FedEx our Route.

Plant Buying made easy!

I've never ordered a plant online before and my main hesitation was around the shipping and handling process. That said, I decided to take a risk after not being able to find the exact plant I wanted locally and CulturedPlants exceeded my expectations. The plants were well wrapped and boxed with care, and look amazingly healthy. I will definitely be buying more from them as they have a great selection and know that I can shop with confidence moving forward.

My plant arrived in a timely manner to…

My plant arrived in a timely manner to my home in upstate NY. Having been shipped from Florida, I was a bit concerned because of the cold temps; but someone thoughtfully put a wee hand warmer in with the Pink Princess to keep her safe on her journey. Very impressed, thank you! Will definitely order again! :)
