Can't give zero but would if I could. Web site is junk. Say I have a previous account but then just spins on password reset. Gave it a new email proceeded to payment and it just sits and spins. Need a new Web Developer I can be available. Can't even submit this review with email. WHAT A JOKE
Bought a license for Quickbook Desktop for MAC - I entered it then when I called Intuit for tech support, they told me a different name was on the serial # and that it had been activated 3 weeks prior to when I got it. I'm never buying anything from them again! How does a reputable company resell a license???
Bought the HyperGear’s SleepEez mini noise-blocking sleep earbuds on their recommendation, over $30 with tax, etc. Would you believe these are supposedly designed for sleep and yet both earbuds have a light which flicks on, lighting up the bedroom every few seconds – this was not mentioned in the review on Cult of Mac and perhaps never actually used in the dark of night. Their website doesn't actually have the links for starting a return that their instructions say are there but their support folks were responsive. Bottom line; product was not fit for purpose and they say I'll only get about half my money back – lesson learned and I'll never buy a product promoted by Cult of Mac again.
Always thought the newsletters were informative and interesting, but mainly unbiased. I then purchased a product through them and based on their review (Prismdrive).
Only conclusion is they are completely biased based on deals they are running. Don’t trust at all now
we purchased a MacBook Air from cult of Mac and their third-party seller. The MacBook arrived, defective and will not boot up. neither Cult of Mac, or the third-party seller will fix the situation and replace the defective MacBook. They are scammers.
I bought the 3in1 charger for watch and iPhone and it is useless as it charges “much slooower” than lightning for watch and charger for Apple Watch.
Not worth ant price.
Lots of interesting deals on Cult of Mac, but it seems that the offers are only driven by profit motive. No effort on screening out dishonest deals and scam companies. Example is the offer of Degoo cloud storage which I was almost baited. Lucky I checked out the Trustpilot review of the said site before (not) signing up.
