My goal was to take 5X5 pictures for passport. I paid extra to get it digitally but didn’t receive the email. The printed pictures come all together in a piece of paper, if I went specifically to take pictures for an ID why would I want them all together in a big sheet?
Hope they answer my email and send me the digital picture I paid for…

Convenience and good service

Do not use this photo company for passport photos or photos for drivers licenses. Their photos does not live up to standard measurements.

I couldn’t pay and they didn’t pick up the phone to help me!! Wasted a lot of time for nothing

Good that you can re-take the pictures but not happy about the fact that my digital pictures did not show up in my mail.

I did not recieve my photos by email, eventhough I paid for it

I received a very warm welcome and helpful service.

Paid for two photos, the machine only printed one. The customer service replied to my errand with ”we can see the machine printed two copies so we will not reimburse you”. Very unserious.

Great customer support in case of trouble.. No worries we fix.. an attitude worth mentioning.

Pictures not printed and not sent to my email. Also, no receipt wad printed nor sent... Terrible, makes one feel like it was a scam.

I am a French citizen living in Denmark, I need ID photos to renew my passport at the French consulate in Copenhagen. I just did some passport/ID photos at the automat in Frederiksberg shopping center (machine n° 701013).
The pictures have a white background, but French administration does not allow white background on ID photos, it has to be light grey. Plus the photos are too dark, my face is not clearly visible.
I paid 99 dkk for 4 photos I cannot use. The French consulate refused them.

We had to pay 320 + extra 79 = 399 SEK for storing about 6 hours.
As this seemed extremely expensive , we checked later ( needed to catch train/flight) and read that max for 24hrs should 299 SEK.
And we paid 100 SEK too much.
We sent several mails , no response.
We tried to fill out a claim , but although all the boxes were ticked it every time says: error, try later.
By phone also not possible
Wo we feel cheated.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Using Speed Photo was an absolute disaster from start to finish—and the way they handle customers is nothing short of disgraceful.

I went in expecting a simple, hassle-free way to get passport photos, as their marketing so confidently suggests. Instead, I paid for digital photos that were completely useless. The files I received were a pathetic 33KB, nowhere near the 50KB minimum required by passport authorities. Why offer a passport photo service if your product can't even meet the most basic technical standards? It’s laughable—if it weren’t such a blatant rip-off.

And here’s the kicker: no warning, no disclosure, nothing. They happily take your money and leave you with files that are guaranteed to be rejected. When I contacted customer service, I was met with pure arrogance and zero accountability. Their response? Blame me for not reading the fine print, instead of owning up to the fact that their service is clearly not fit for its intended purpose.

Oh, and let’s talk about their website. It flaunts high-quality, professional-looking photos that suggest you're paying for top-tier results. Spoiler alert: you’re not. What you actually get is a cheap, low-res knockoff that feels more like a bad joke than a legitimate service. False advertising at its finest.

The whole experience feels like a scam disguised as a legitimate business. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else if you need proper passport photos. The product is garbage, the customer service is worse, and the way they handle complaints is downright shameful.
