Crib Goch Outdoor is an independent outdoor clothing and equipment shop found in LLanberis and Beddgelert, in the heart of Snowdonia. Established in 2002 by Dylan Jones, a keen hiker who you'll find working at the Llanberis store, the original and largest of the two outdoor shops. 10 years on Dylan was later joined by his best friend from school and current business partner Pete Thomas, who you will find in their new outdoor shop in the picturesque Beddgelert. Crib Goch Outdoor provides the best outdoor clothing, equipment and accessories for hiking, walking, running, camping and bushcraft, we stock everything you and your dog need to enjoy an adventure in the outdoors. We stock a range of technical equipment from the world's best brands alongside a range of lifestyle clothing for your ‘rest days’. We’re more than just a shop. Our staff are an experienced and eclectic bunch of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the outdoors in a variety of different ways - most are local Welsh speakers whilst some have been drawn to the beauty of Wales and never left! We only sell kit that is fit for purpose and everybody’s adventure is unique, so do talk to us - in the live chat, over the phone or in store - and we will take the time to help you find the right kit that’s the right fit. Great service, thanks

Quick, efficient and the best price on line. We ordered a Ruffwear rucksack and it arrived in perfect condition and works really well for our 7kg border terrier puppy.

Paramo Alta III ladies jacket

Very speedy delivery from the Llanberis store, ordered on the Saturday, jacket arrived on the Tuesday.
The Paramo Alta III jacket size M is a good fit for me, I’m usually size 10/12. Really happy as it’s excellent quality and kept me very warm on a 10.5 mile hike. I haven’t tried it in the rain as yet but I’m sure it will be fine. Thanks

Friendly and helpful staff and excellent service.

I wanted a Buffalo Parka but was unsure about the sizing. I have a Special 6 shirt in size 42 but it now feels a bit snug and my preference was the blue colour which was only available in 44. Thankfully a member of staff measured it for me and I decided it would be too big. So I ordered these 42 in black and it fits just right, enough space to move freely but not baggy. It is so much lighter than other parkas and you don’t feel like a Michelin man. It’s also nice that it is a British firm and made in Britain, that probably means they are more expensive but at least you know the quality will be consistently high. Thank you for the help I received ( sadly I have forgotten his name ) and the swift delivery. I haven’t worn the parka outside yet, sadly the weather has changed so I will have to wait for the next cold spell - which I am now looking forward to.
