Quick delivery. Bought running shoes, didn't fit... very easy returns policy. Return accepted on delivery, clearly confirmed within your order summary status on your account for the item. Refund paid back to account within the 3-5 business days. (Remember that weekends won't count in case you think there's an issue with your refund. I got refund confirmation on a Thurs, money paid back in the next Wed).

When returning, all you do is return the unused item with the receipt page you got with it tucked inside your packaging (stating you want a "refund" or size change), you don't do anything on the website in case you're searching for a "return item" option. Best use recorded delivery. (Remember not to wear the shoes outside or you'll invalidate the return rules... tho that's obvious).

Lovely little shop! Bought online but the shoes weren't right for me so popped into the shop in person as hadn't realised how local to me they are and explored other options with some good advice from staff. No fuss return and got shoes that worked better for my feet. Helpful and a good range of running goodies!

I ordered a pair of boa style running shoes from Altra. Unfortunately, they were not a good fit and I returned them within a couple of days. I was very surprised when I received notification of their arrival back at the store a couple of days later and than receiving a notification of my refund a couple of hours after that. I love Northern Runner. I've asked many questions prior to purchases, so as to get the right product; replies have always been prompt, friendly and informative. Additionally, the reviews are great, and products competitively priced. NR will continue to be my go-to source for my runners.

John helped me today with a pair of running shoes as I have had trouble buying off the shelf ones due to wide feet and a high instep.
He was very knowledgeable and helped me get a comfortable pair giving me a few options too. Had a great chat with him.

I love this shop! A really great website with loads of information and blog posts.. enormous selection of running shoes and the service is always super helpful. I was after a pair of shoes that they didn't have in stock and they ordered them just for me and let me know within a couple of days that they had arrived. I'm thrilled!

Amazing customer service from Chris. Had an issue with a manufacturer defect on a pair of hokas after only 3 months of wear, I didn't think I had many options but just said I'd email their customer service anyway and see if anything could be done. Chris just asked for images and then let me return them for a brand new replacement! And they were sent to hoka as defective. And I didn't even have a wait - I sent them proof of postage and the new pair were sent out the same day and arrived the next morning. Just exceptional service in what I thought would be a situation where I was just going to have to pay for a new pair. Will definitely be buying my gear from them again in future! Thank Chris 😊

I ordered a pair of shoes that was too small. I returned them by post, asking for an exchange. They replied to my email within a day and sent a new pair swiftly. It did not reach my chosen destination due to issues at my end and was returned to Northern Runner. They sent another pair to my alternative address. They replied to my emails and kept me updated. No hassle, quick replies and super-swift service and delivery. Will use again - definitely.

Easy ordering, arrived on time, great price and one of a very few stockists of extra wide running shoes. I've been using altras for several years now and they fit great for my hobbit feet.

Great experience - placed an online order on Thursday, for Hoka trainers and toes socks, the order was packed and sent on the same day arriving on the Saturday. Products exactly as expected and I can't fault the service, all very seamless so I will definitely use in the future! 👌👌

Excellent online experience with this company. Website easy to use and prices competitive. Order processed quickly. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong shoes and returned them via Royal Mail. Refund came through as soon as they arrived back with Northern Runner. Very rare to find a company which refunds with such efficiency. Hat tip. Will use again.

I have wide feet (2B) and they had lots of options for wide feet. I got very good discount on Brooks trainers. Fast delivery as well.

Refund in 1 working day! I was very impressed - sent parcel back on Saturday, received paypal refund confirmation at 2pm Monday.
The product and initial delivery were spot on too.
The only spot in the ointment was having to pay for return postage, but I can live with that with such excellent service

Delivery of boots was fast. The boots were faulty due to a manufacture fault but the staff were amazing at sorting it out. Chris responded to emails immediately and although the company couldn't replace the boots, i received a refund. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this shop again.

Have bought shoes on three occasions for Northern Runner, delivery and service always very fast and efficient. Ordered a pair of Hoka Clifton 10’s. Best price I found online. Expected delivery 18th but arrived earlier than expected. On the 16th, signed delivery. Great email communication through purchasing process. Very impressed as a first time user of Northern Runner.
