We have always had wonderful efficient service regarding our pet Border Collie. We first joined CCVets in St John’s Wood and when they opened the St Albans clinic we started using them as it was nearer. All the staff at both practice have been excellent and knowledgeable in the treatment they provided for our Patch.

We came in for a second opinion and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision. If we already had to resolve something, we are truly grateful that we found this place and we will definitely be staying with them moving forward.
The kindness, professionalism, and overall organisation are outstanding. Everything feels calm, clean, and genuinely caring, which makes such a difference when you are worried about your pet.
I also absolutely love their app. It is beautifully designed, very clear, and allows me to easily track everything my dog needs, all in one place. Services like this are rare and incredibly valuable.
I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my rabbit received at this practice. He was treated for months for persistent sneezing and a lump under his ear. Despite repeated visits and significant costs, the treatment focused almost entirely on ear flushing and even led to an unnecessary surgery that later turned out to be ear wax. His symptoms did not improve at all.
I repeatedly asked for his teeth to be checked, knowing dental issues are a common cause of these symptoms in rabbits, but I was reassured multiple times that his teeth were “perfectly fine.” This was later proven to be incorrect.
After seeking a second opinion, another vet immediately identified a dental problem during the very first examination. My rabbit required dental surgery, after which his symptoms fully resolved. It is upsetting to know that he underwent unnecessary procedures, stress, and anaesthesia (at 7 years old) due to what I believe was poor clinical judgment.
What makes this even worse is that the practice never bothered to respond to my formal complaint email. The complete lack of accountability or basic decency to reply is shocking and speaks volumes.
I spent approximately £1,400 on treatment that failed to address the real problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice, especially for rabbit or exotic pet care.

Amazing service in every respect.
My dog has had two surgeries and numerous vet visits at Creature Comforts Chiswick, and everything has been impeccable. I initially thought that with the subscription service it might be harder to get appointments or receive as many follow-ups, but it’s been the complete opposite.
The whole experience has been a pleasure, and I’m genuinely glad I made the switch.

My dog loves her vet. she pulls me to go in and is always met with love and care. I drive a long way to this Vets and would not change that given the joy my dog experiences.

Really impressed with our new vet and so glad we switched.
The staff are kind and professional, spending time with our puppy, building up his confidence before examining him.
They had the necessary expertise to diagnose a complex issue with his teeth and suggest ways to resolve the problem.
Very reassuring and caring.

This franchise are crooks. Every time you go to the vet, they try to scare you and say you need extra tests done. This is the second time this has happened to me. First time they tried to sell me extra blood tests for my dog that was not necessary totally £350 and today I took my dog there told her he had a yeast infection and she still said she needed to do a swab test, ok, she put a ear bud in his ear rolled it around and said she done a test and it is a yeast infection. Exactly what I knew already and that was £50. Ridiculous, this is how they make up for their free consultation fees. It's just theft. Trying to scare people with all this unnecessary testing to bump up the price. Given steroids and ear drops total £110 for an ear infection. Absolute criminal. I wouldn't advise anyone to subscribe or join this vets. Their medication is at least £20 more than any other vets. Really disappointed in their dishonesty and crafty procedures.

I am still shocked and upset by my experience at this practice. I came in worried sick for my dog, hoping for guidance, support, and reassurance — and instead I left feeling overwhelmed, pressured, and emotionally drained.
The first estimate I was given was £1300–£1400. Hearing that was terrifying. I was already stressed and scared for my dog, and being confronted with such a massive number made me feel panicked and cornered. Then, later on, a much lower-cost option was suddenly presented — something that was never offered from the beginning. Why wasn’t I told about this sooner? Why was I made to feel like the only way forward was to agree to an exorbitant cost? It made me feel frustrated, confused, and frankly, betrayed.
The follow-up messages I received only made things worse. On paper, they might look polite, but emotionally they were exhausting. The repeated focus on insurance, the pressure to “change my mind,” and the constant nudging made me feel judged and guilty for trying to make decisions within my means. Instead of support and understanding, I felt pushed, manipulated, and dismissed — like my hesitation was a problem rather than a reasonable concern.
What broke my heart most of all was how my dog seemed to become less of a scared, bloated, vulnerable little being, and more of a series of tests, scans, and procedures. My dog was uncomfortable and stressed, yet the immediate focus was sedation, X-rays, scans, and hundreds of pounds of diagnostics. When we got home, she went to the toilet and her symptoms resolved naturally. This only made me feel more upset and bewildered about why I was made to feel like costly interventions were the only option.
I came to this practice for compassion, clarity, and honest advice — not to feel like my dog was being subjected to unnecessary stress or that I was being judged for trying to make careful choices. The whole experience was exhausting, upsetting, and overwhelming. I will be attaching screenshots of the messages I received so others can see why I felt this way.
No pet owner should ever leave a vet feeling scared, pressured, judged, and emotionally drained — especially when all we want is guidance to care for a loved animal

Please could someone from CC accounts contact me. I have emailed countless times. £40 has been erroneously taken from my account after cancelling the policy. I would be most grateful for a refund asap

I have never had such an amazing vet experience! My senior cat, Milou, had very extreme bronchial disease and was never really treated with proper care from vets, until we came to Creature Comforts Notting Hill. The vet team truly cares for their patients, our main vet Clio was absolutely amazing. She always handled Milou with love and compassion (despite Milou's anger while at the vets). I brought her in several times, even at our last appointment, where unfortunately it became clear that Milou was suffering and would soon pass, Clio was extremely kind and gentle with me as a teared up. I honestly cannot recommend Creature Comforts enough and once I'm ready for another cat I will not hesitate to bring them here.

Well what an eyeopener this is what all vets should be like.
Not great getting neutered but it is the responsible thing to do!
They kept our owners fully up to date with photos ,progress and superb follow up calls!
Nice to be treated as two individual kittens (brothers) rather than any other
pet!
Putney is all the better for their clinic and we are mightily happy its local and takes the stress away from our parents

This is my 2nd visit to Muswell Hill
Am over the moon with the genuine love shown to my rocco, what a pleasure to go to a vet that’s not about how much money they can rip of you, all the staff at this vet’s are a credit to the company!!
They treat your pets like the king or queen, which of course are pets are 😁

Creature Comforts staff in St Albans went above and beyond. I lost my young pup out on a walk and she was handed in to the St Albans branch.
Polly the vet nurse took her home for the weekend and looked after her.
The staff then took the time and effort to trace and contact me, so I was reunited with my little Coco.
I can't recommend them enough.

Took Ky for his first consultation yesterday and he certainly gave it an all paws-up. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the team and the amount of care shown to my elderly dog. He did enjoy the treats and all the attention. Very many thanks.
