The School of Culinary Arts Cordon Bleu in Florence is undeniably the oldest, and still operating cooking academy in Tuscany. The school has been captained since the beginning by Cristina Blasi and Gabriella Mari, two very different, though totally supportive directors. Since 1985 competence, professionalism, a variety of formative offers, and teaching have made Scuola Cordon Bleu Florence a cooking academy of excellence - the ideal site to rediscover not only cooking traditions and history but also to break new grounds. The location is in Palazzo Panciatichi Ximenes, and the 450 sqm school is housed in a charming sixteenth-century historic building. The new school premises are large, welcoming, and well structured: three kitchens with state-of-the-art professional equipment. There is also a themed library for student consultation. The Scuola di Arte Culinaria Cordon Bleu is waiting for you!

Amazing experience- even gluten free

Totally worth it!
Had an incredible experience at the Summer Labs 2023. The general atmosphere in school was so much fun, the staff was so happy each day to be working here. Our group of 15 was amazing, diverse, and worked so well together.
A lot of great learning that we can take back and apply in our kitchens. Highly recommended!
Definitely the best place to learn
Definitely the best course that I have ever been. It was a great pleasure to learn from chefs that really enjoy their work, are willing to share their experiences and knowledge with students.
The atmosphere in school is very welcoming and friendly. It is created with passion, care and love. Once you enter that school, you will definitely never want to leave it. From the very first day students feel themselves as at home.
Summer Labs course is a great opportunity to learn about Italian cuisine, some secret tricks, culture of Tuscany food.
Big thanks for everyone who teaches, organizing and supporting students during studying. It was amazing and unforgettable experience!
Fantastic Experience; Would 100% do Again
I took a 5 week cooking course here and loved every minute of it. The instruction was highly personalized and really thorough, and I loved how the course focused on the history and tradition of Tuscan cuisine. The team-based approach is different from most cooking schools (ie, everyone works together versus each person alone at their own station) and something I really liked, but maybe not ideal for people looking to do every step of the process themselves. Overall, great experience!
A fabulous experience
A fabulous experience. The staff were so much fun and we really learnt a huge amount while enjoying ourself lots. The whole group worked well together and the staff ensured we had a really lovely atmosphere all the time. I would highly recommend this course. An unforgettable experience in a beautiful city!
In my opinion
In my opinion, the school is wonderful, and the teachers are truly amazing. During my time there, I had the incredible opportunity to learn and cook various Italian recipes, ranging from delightful starters to delectable desserts. The guidance and support provided by the nonna and the teacher made the entire experience a breeze.
Moreover, being part of a small, close-knit group was fantastic as we all got along splendidly. The school also went the extra mile by organizing dinners and visits, which added even more to the enriching experience. I must give special thanks to Ana, who took exceptional care of me throughout the entire journey.
I am immensely grateful to the entire team for creating such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. This cooking course has truly been a remarkable and delightful adventure.
Thank you all very much.
