Legal Guarantee on Samsung TV ok coolblue Ignored Despite Dated Evidence
If you want to keep the review credible and reduce the risk of Trustpilot removing it, avoid stating as fact that they “broke it on purpose” unless you have evidence. Here’s a strong version based on your experience:
⭐☆☆☆☆
I used to trust Coolblue, but my experience with their warranty service has been extremely disappointing.
My Samsung TV developed a display defect while still under warranty. Before it was collected, I took dated photographs showing the TV mounted on the wall and in good external condition.
Coolblue rejected my legal warranty based solely on the opinion of its repair partner, CE Repair. To make matters worse, I received a €600 repair quote.
The only photos the repair centre provided were taken days later inside their workshop, not when the TV was collected or received. The TV shown in those photos appears far more severely damaged than the condition shown in my own dated photographs. I strongly dispute that these later workshop photos accurately reflect the condition of my TV when it left my home.
Despite repeated requests, neither Coolblue nor CE Repair has provided photographs taken upon receipt of the TV or any objective evidence proving that the alleged damage existed before transport.
Before relying on CE Repair’s conclusions, I encourage anyone to read the many public Google reviews about this repair centre and make up their own mind.
After months of emails and no fair resolution, I have referred the case to a lawyer through Test Achats/Test Aankoop. I expected much better from a company that advertises customer satisfaction as its core value.
