I completed a booking for Odeon cinema tickets and was presented with a page offering savings on next purchase. Assuming I was joining Odeon’s FREE loyalty club I began entering my details - then, thinking, but Odeon have my details, so I looked at the small print…nothing to do with Odeon, but a monthly paid subscription for dubious “savings”. Sneaky, underhand non-transparent sales process.

HUGE SCAM!!!!!! AVOID!!!
Purchased on the Living social website and got charged for 6 months, €18 montly without being notified or get email receipt.
After months of payments I’ve noticed on my bankstatement that I was charged every month. They’ve stolen €108 from me.

Just receive a email from truspilit and I’m sorprised they delet my review.never before happen. So maybe that company pay to them? Don’t know, anyway I inform my experience , I didn’t know that company taking every month money of my account bank, the first 3 months €15 and after until now €18, since October 2023 until now …we sew in the account we pay every month €18 but also is so tricky because is not the name of the company. So is show he’s self like Ely (not even the initials of his scan company) i googled the 3 syllables in my account so we find that company. We cancelled inmediately, but they delete every detail instant in that supuse account, also they say I accept to subscribe when I buy in look fantastic (carefully with that shop too) I remember buy something years ago for ones i never give my account details to a company or online company if im not sure, they say I did, (I imagine they just took my details through this intermediary shop “look fantastic” now truspilit ask to me put details, what you don’t know is I took pictures in the screen in case, I told them I’ll complain to the online consumer protection and I did , they didn’t found that company, I read in Swiss (remember works long time ago in a Jew company (they were laying and say the company is in NY and take money from people in Africa and Venezuela ) and laying they will give to them a visa) but actually what the did was illegal, in the finally I told them I I will complain to my lawyer , so they return the money every €15,€18 …but my bank didn’t accept, why? Probably is many people complain about that? And they are very careful with that company. I had to call to my bank and talk to them. But my bank show the money and when I want to use the money , didn’t have no funds, it was visible in my account, but I couldn't use it, I'll go back to the bank to find out that….its for real , anyway I have the detail truspilot in case you want delete again my review.

Completesavings have been taking 18 euros out of my account for several months. I did not agree to this. Whatever why they phrase their offer, it is misleading.
Do not have anything to do with this site. I have spoken to my Bank. I have cancelled with Completesavings.ie but will be checking my bank account each month. Very deceptive. Very sneaky.
I was promised a 36 euro refund from this company 6 days ago. No money has arrived in my account. Do they just not care?

They are basically scam, falsely advertising, sneaky luring in to subscriptions, biggest issue is that Instead of thinking how to be a trustworthy company, they will challenge any bad reviews as fake.

So far my experience has been terrible. Signed up for the initial period, made my second purchase and attempted to claim my reward. DECLINED, due to the second purchase being made the same day I signed up. Are you kidding me? There was no mention of this whatsoever, only that a second purchase had to be made which I did! Sent a response back that this is simply false advertising and will take it further if I have to. We’ll see what the response is but I’m expecting resistance. So far an absolute scam of a service.

If I could give zero stars I would I thought it must have been me but to see how many others that were tricked into subscribing is shocking! How is this company still going and being allowed work this way its disgraceful. Yes I entered my details but I entered them for the purchase I was making (so I thought) awful!

One year ago during. Ticket Master transaction I became another CompleteSavings victim .. I..e for one year now they have taken 18 euro per month from my account without a single communication with me of any kind .. totally deceptive practice .. brands doing business with them I assume are being well compensated for the damage to their own brand names .. resolved issue by phone requesting cancellation ..they don’t even attempt to dissuade you cancelling .. immediate capitulation .. 3 month refund and I have also demanded further 8 months refund ..waiting on that now..

I cannot believe that this kind of scamming can be allowed to go on. Stores that are affiliated with complete savings and allow them access to their customers should really take a look at how this reflects on them too.

I inadvertently got hooked in as part of an online order. What they do seems ok but not useful for me. They responded quickly to my emails and refunded my subscription.

I had just completed my purchase on Ticketmaster and the message of some credit back at my next purchase came up, so I thought it was coming from Ticketmaster and I completed the form. I then received a welcome email from Completesavings.ie and I IMMEDIATELY picked the CANCEL ACCOUNT option and I got a message saying that they were sorry to see me go and I would receive an email from them, confirming the cancellation. I haven't received the email yet and I emailed them twice to say that I am not interested in their service and I want them to cancel my account immediately. I got an automatic reply from the customer service saying that they are really busy and they can't get back to me yet!

As other reviewers have stated this is a complete scam .I was inadvertently signed up for this through making a purchase from Ticketmaster. As far as I'm concerned they have stolen my details from Ticketmaster and have stolen money from my bank account. They say you to fill in an online form to sign up. This is completely false I did'nt and they c'ant provide proof that I did .Not going to comment much further after your reply for legal reasons. What you have stated is completely false.People click on a link which they believe is connected to the company they believe they are dealing with.At No stage are are seeing they are being directed to your scam company I didn't enter my details manually and didn't know what I was signing up for. You stole my details from Ticktmaster. You only managed to steal a small amount from my
account but it's the principal.

As noted by others, this is a scam. I don't recall signing up but must have inadvertently. They claim to 'have no listing' in order to delete my data as I requested yet still deduct money from my account! I have had to block payments to this shady company and report them to the Data Protection Commission. Had never heard of them until looking this up only to read similar experiences.
And they'll come on with some long winded response but it's a cover. Do NOT sign up, even unitentionally as you will find it next to impossible to get off their data base.
Can not understand how they are getting away with this. I'm certainly reporting it.
Second review as complete savings have staff dedicated to taking down reviews.
SCAM - Do not sign up. I’ve already given a long description of the unbelievable hassle and incredibly unprofessional and immoral way this ‘business’ conducts itself but they had it taken down by trustpilot! Siting it didn’t look like a genuine review. Things got so bad with this business’ that I ended up reporting them to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner. It is absolutely incredible that they are allowed to continue to operate. It’s also shocking they can request Trustpilot to remove reviews and they do it.
Hopefully this ‘company’ will be investigated soon. Years later they still try to deduct money from my account despite many many requests to stop and delete my data. I’ve had to block them. Do NOT get involved with this shady organization. It is next to impossible to stop them taking money.
They’ll give some fake response to this but all the reviews say it all. Worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Most corrupt in their dealings with ‘customers’ too.

After listening to a segment on Lunchtime Live on Newstalk, I discovered that this company has been charging me for over two years without my knowledge or consent. While I acknowledge that I should have monitored my transactions more closely, this appears to be fraudulent activity.
The consent to share or process financial information must have been extremely well hidden. With my background in the fintech industry, I am familiar with the compliance requirements for e-commerce transactions, and it seems this company did not adhere to any of these regulations.
Although the customer service team responded quickly and offered a refund for three months, I have submitted a request for a full refund, as I have never logged into my account or used any of their services. I hope more people become aware of these deceptive practices and take action to hold the company accountable.

To claim you can only sign up by manually completing a form is absolute nonsense. I did not complete any form and only became aware of this company through my bank statement. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM
Despite completesavings response I did not complete any form with their logo etc I therefore would like completesavings to furnish me with the said documentation
Needless to say- no documentation has been forthcoming

£18 deducted from my account for a service I didn’t sign up for. Will be challenging this as soon as I can get onto my account provider. This sort of thing sickens me. It’s basically just fraud.

Careful! Check what you’re clicking. I literally just noticed it on the card I’m not really using that they’re charging me for €18 monthly. I had no idea what is that so I blocked it. And I can’t contact with them now as it is weekend. But definitely will contact to get a refund. I tried to “log in” with my email address and said forgot password. Never got an email so I wasn’t even in their system. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Taking my money by tricking people!!
