I received 2 letters this year stating it's time for another Cologard test. My last one was 3 yrs ago. Results were negative. I had a colonoscopy within the past 10 years. Results were negative.... See more

Delayed with no updates
I am still waiting for my results 2 1/2 weeks after they received my sample. They said 8-10 days and have not provided any updates or estimates of how much longer it will take. Super frustrating.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. Stars results in 8-10 days after they receive the kit. I have waited about 20 days and still no results. Customer support no help as they only give pre scripted answers of “we assure you it is being worked on” even though no proof they didn’t lose it. After double the max time enough is enough. Do not get this unless you don't care if you will ever get results.
Mark Return to Sender
A compliance tool. The purpose of this test is to convince a patient to have a colonoscopy. It has a false error rate that is high. Then you will be scared and have a colonoscopy. Better to have a FOB TIA at a local lab. It’s much Cheaper or better to just have a colonoscopy.
Best thing is to bleed this beast. If they send you one don’t open and write return to sender. This way they have to pay to have it sent back.
My doc office offered cologuard. They did not tell me I would be hounded with calls. I was sent a box during the pandemic. It was sent to a hardwear store for pick up. I don’t have a car. Then I learned that anything can give a false positive and cologuard not my doctor will require a colonoscopy. This is billed as a compliance tool to convince patients to have a colonoscopy.
Now they keep contacting me and my friend for cologuard the doctors office wants to do colonoscopies again, and wrote us not to do cologuard but cologuard keeps calling because they have all the doctors info. They wrote us a letter not to do them.
Anything can cause a false positive. UTI, menstrual bleeding, hemorrhoids.
Worst Customer Service Experience
Do not do this test. Their customer service is the worst. If their service is so bad I would never trust their results. Twice before a kit was shipped out to me I called them and told them to cancel the shipment and the customer service rep indicated that the order is cancelled. Then surprise today I get an email from them giving me the UPS shipping tracking number! I called and expressed my frustration at their service. Those reps cant even speak good English and that too with a very heavy accent. Avoid this Company at all costs. Refuse to do this test even if your Dr. ask you to do it. You might as well do a CT Colonography (does not need anesthesia) or Colonoscopy (needs anesthesia) which are far more accurate.
I chose to use that company and they…
I chose to use that company and they sent back positive results for colon cancer. It took 2 1/2 weeks. They actually have the real procedure. Your results were positive for cancer, which was bullshit and my visit was very positive. You created several weeks of anxiety and I think that sucks. My doctor actually said don’t believe the results. That says something about your company. I’m not trying to be harsh, but you scared the living shit out of me. I’d like somebody to reach out and apologize, but I assume no one will.
What a joke of a company
This test is ridiculous. False positive and negatives may occur. Lmao. For sure. They have doctors in their pockets I'm sure saying...no matter what the results...you can still get the money. I had 2 positive results before I had a colonoscopy...guess what...nothing. Wow...that's surprising. What a waste of time. If you want a colonoscopy...go for it...bit don't rely on this BS of a company.
Headache from the beginning.....
Immediately after receiving the kit, they will begin calling, texting and sending emails and leaving voice messages. I don't need freaking cologard to remind me of anything. They are intrusive and after you complete the stupid thing, then you are faced with having to take it somewhere because the return label is for ups, not the uses. I don't have a ups box in my yard, so screw you cologard because you are a pain in the backside, and your results are flimsy at best with false positives that cause unnecessary follow up procedures. Sorry about being an ass, but cologard pissed me off.
My brothers wife took a cologuard test…
My brothers wife took a cologuard test recently and it came back positive. She scheduled a Colonoscopy which was negative. Now I question my results. Also, I was suppose to get a $25.00 gift card for turning my test in to Cologuard by a certain date. I called Cologuard 4 times that the gift card never materialized. I have a feeling the company is a scam!

3 years ago service was great when u could actually talk to someone now there using a i And the service stinks box has been out there for two days for pick up wouldn’t recommend them anymore
Scam
Scam. Detects a problem where there is none. Get a colonoscopy and be done with it. That's the only accurate test.
The very worst customer service there…
The very worst customer service there could possibly be. There is no prompt for an operator. I had to call back three times in order to get one and press different prompts. A few weeks before I got the kit I had to call them - it took them until the evening to return a call I placed in the morning. The zip slide bag was broken when I went to prep the sample for shipping this morning. There was nothing that I could find stating what to do if this happened. It should have been included in the instructions. I called them this morning - still haven't heard from them - fortunately the online chat said I could tape the bag. This process is unpleasant and stressful as it is - and one would think that great customer service is key to its success.
I had a positive ColoGuard and they…
I had a positive ColoGuard and they also said I have cancer. Its all bull shit. I had a colonoscopy and my results were not what ColoGuard said they were. I was also told they always throw false positive result even when there are hemorroids present which throws it off also. So anyone doing the ColoGuard at home remember the results are NOT ACCURATE until you have a colonoscopy. This company needs to be put out of service for the false information their test results show because they are not accurate. If i wasn't a very nice person and had different results I'd find me a damn good lawyer and sue the shit out of this company for false reporting. I will never have another one done because they cannot read between hemmoriods and and cancer results. So I will no longer be using this bull shit test ever.

I told my Dr not to order but he did by mistake. I am throwing it out they never answer their phone it is a SCAM. I am having a colonoscopy.
Cologuard will not stop calling. I am reporting them to the FDA
False positive representative caused me undue worry by not explaing
I had a positive test result. When I called to inquire about it , I asked pacifically does the positive result indicate I have cancer. The representative said "yes it's a positive result."
What a lie. Many things other than cancer can cause a positive result I found out later when I finally was able to have a colonoscopy. Months of worry thinking I had cancer because they couldn't take the time or effort to explain the test results better. I had one benig polyp found and removed.
Harrassed by email, text, and even phone calls
So my doctor ordered a Cologuard kit for me about 2 weeks ago. The following day I get an email from them saying they shipped it. OK but not too happy my doctor gave them my email address. The next day there's another email with instructions, then two more the following day. Starting to annoy me a lot. Then they start test messaging me. WTF!!!! Now they've actually CALLED me on my cell phone 3 days in a row including on the weekend. WTF is wrong with these aholes??? I havrn't sent in the kit yet so they have no &^%$* reason to be harrassing me on a daily basis.
Torture Device
I got this package without being informed it was coming, so it was delivered in the rain. The box got wet, ams since it's meant to be reused to mail back the poop sample, this was a problem. I tried using the collection container, but the edge of the bowl dug very painfully into my butt, and I wasn't able to do my business because of it. The lid is made to screw on, so that it causes the bowl's surface to be extra sharp. Unless the user has a completely stick figure butt, there is no way for it to not cut into your skin, suspended on the holder it comes with. There is also no way to wipe yourself with this thing in the way, so you need to stand up and drip everywhere. What a painful mess! Maybe this would work for a toddler. I ended up. Having to trash the whole thing. Did the designers of this even try using it? Surely I'm not the only one who had this experience.
My Cologuard results came back as…positive.
My Cologuard results came back as POSITIVE, so I had a colonoscopy that came back with NEGATIVE results. In fact, my colon looked great--no polyps or concerns at all.
My doctor told me that he often sees patients that have had a FALSE POSITIVE (ABNORMAL) Cologuard result. I would not recommend using Cologuard since it is unreliable.
Cologuard letter was written to sound like my doctor ordered it.
Was shipped a kit without request. The Cologuard letter was written to sound like my doctor ordered it. In fact, my doctor did not! I called Colorguard and the customer service rep attempted to say the same thing, until I told her I had checked with my doctor. Very disappointing way to create business. One of the many reasons health insurance in so high!
Cologuard is trashing Cologuard kits
Cologuard is trashing Cologuard kits. Claiming no fesces in container shipped by me to Cologuard for evaluation. That's not true.
Cologuard sent me a replacement Kit for the alledged empty kit. I explained Cologuard they put the first kit in garbage claiming it was empty ...That's not true.
I called. I was sent another Cologuard kit. I no longer trust Cologuards honesty. Accents too heavy to understand when speaking to them.
I reported this to Medicare. Didn't seem to care either. Wants me to talk to another physician?
This is my last Colonoscopy of 3 over 49 years.
Does revenue outweigh patient need? It would seem so
It’s disheartening to know that medical providers are incentivized for ordering the test, knowing that a colonoscopy is more accurate. My particular provider ordered the colonoscopy on the same day as the colorguard test. Why?, given what is well published regarding indications for when Cologard vs colonoscopy are indicated??? I wish I had done my homework before I agreed to the test - I would never have agreed.
Also, I contacted both my provider and Exact Science to ask for my complete report, and was told that all I’m entitled to receive is that it’s positive – they would not say what it was positive for, even though they reportedly look at factors (DNA markers) aside from blood, to determine risk.
