It's a huge scam promoting site hiding negative comments during programmed bullish scenarios and the opposite during bearish scenarios.
They essentially allow bots to proliferate freely, spamming scam site links all over the place, and orchestrate the "tone" of the comments over time, so that they can help control the price... its no wonder its owned by Binance.
This is a SCAM, do not fall for it.
Activation Account = SCAM
MORE FOUNDS to withdraw what you have in the account =SCAM
They will keep on taking from you and you will never be able to receive your founds in your account.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS B__T__-S !!!!
I got stuck with an account manager that I do not trust. I have 19,600 showing in my account. I wish to withdraw that money and transfer it directly to my bank account. I owned a brokerage business for stocks and bonds for 5 years , but the process of retrieving my money here's too complicated to understand. Has anyone ever been successful at getting their money out of coinmarketcap? The account manager is asking for thousands of dollars to help me with this process. Can anyone out there help me? Is this site really a scam?
The whole crypto industry is built on [frord] coinmarkcap and their website are also part of the elaborative scam the question is why hasn't the industry been closed down? who, what countries, people and Governments are involved in it? It'S a large network of collaborations involving social media also.Coinmarket are not independant they create their own scam coins at put them on their own website
A++ Website.
Easy to get info about all crypto coins.
Best platform.
Coinmarketcap.com does nothing about scam projects. What they do is removing comments. If we try to warn people that it's a bad investment.
Big Scammers using this website. Do not invest your hard earned money as this is not an exchange, no matter how sugar coated stories the scammers will share you can not withdraw money.
I came to this platform named smartexchangefx pro because my mum has cancer and she is going through chemo.
I Contacted a person named Hannah rogers1 (telegram name of group: North Quest trading) and she asked me to deposit bitcoin to Binance and I can only afford the minimum $200. Then she asked me to register at smartexchangefx.pro or Dailysignalfx.com website and transfer everything there and I did.
Then we invested that $200 USD for 24 hrs and a profit of $16300 was showing after 24 hrs. This is all fake. Then she said I need to get verified and in order to get kyc verified I have to pay .010 bitcoin which was another $639 USD. It took me almost a week or ten day to get that money from my wages. I got verified and she said to me I only have to get verified and after this everything will be transferred to account balance and I would be able to withdraw which is all lies.
After verification she asked me to register with CoinMarketCap website and transfer everything them. She asked me to share my login details with them too. Now the CoinMarketCap received very high amount which I did not even transfer and in the end it’s now showing $61,300. Anyone can manually put all these entries with any amount so they were making me a fool.
But I cannot withdraw. Now so called Hannah is asking for $2000USD fee to withdraw any amount. I have done my own research now and know coinmarketcap is not an exchange and no one can add invest or withdraw any money.
I am very disappointed with coinmarketcap.. I recently fell into a scam from a Telegram group and since then, whenever I see the same group creating new coins to rob people like they did to me, I comment on the coins page and on my profile to warn that it is a SCAM and that they are going to be scammed, I don't know why all the posts I make are instantly deleted, maybe it was reported by scammers and since then I continue to see people being scammed and robbed.
I feel like it's an injustice because support doesn't check or takes a long time to check the reason for the bans and if they checked my comments maybe they would realize that I'm just trying to help other people not fall for the same scam I did.. Every week new coins are created and used to steal from people and coinmarketcap has no control over this and lets things go..
Anyway, very disappointed with the support of this website and I will never in my life have money or any important information about me on this platform. Very bad!
If you give them money, they will promote your coins.
They manipulate the rankings to their liking.
They just want to make money
Bad customer service , full of scammer in this platform , you are better with Coingecko, Coinmarketcap is a scammer TEAM..... dont trust this website, i move To Coincodex.com
account suspended because I told the true regarding data ownership protocol
They sold my email addresses and wallet details to probably everywhere, because that’s probably the only way these broke suckers make money. Since I connected my wallet to coinmarketcap I get so many spam emails targeting only the email address I use for crypto. Good job coinmarketcap!! Least least least trustworthy!!! Do not ever use unless you want to get spam and scam emails for the rest of your life!
This a really great app have been using it for years and haven’t gotten any errors like you all mentioned well it shouldn’t be perfect for everyone
The website is partly owned by the top 1%, whom of which foster a closed-community. Regular people, like retail, which everyone is a regular person to begin with; can't even share opinions. 95% of people get banned from the website, and it's mostly bots anyway. Total scam, sad that it should just be called CoinCasinoShill.com
Stay away

CMC is a major data aggregator but their customer service is absolutely abominable. Their paid service for fast track listing should definitely be banned in the Western countries. You can submit an application for free listing but you will get no response for months. If you agree to pay CMC, you will get a response in 11 minutes! If you pay the fee they will ignore you and if you still don't get listed for weeks despite meeting all the requirements there is nothing you can do about it because CMC openly threatens customers with blacklisting in case the victim dares to talk about their issues publicly. They claim it is the world's most trusted source of crypto data. Well it is absolutely not true especially because most people can't even talk about the reality. 1 star is a generous rating for CMC.
Very popular crypto tracking platform. I like to use it, but has issues on community moderation of Pepe ETH community. I have created one simple post about unnamed cryptocurrency and got spam reported and banned. This ban was resolved as false ban and I got unbanned. I still love using this, but this must be somehow fixed if you want people to use your community, like reports following same exact pattern or detecting how long has the user took to read it to avoid bot spam reports.
This is a scam !! A guy asked me to open an account here so my Bitcoin account can grow. Then he asked me to pay a 5% transaction fee to withdraw or deposit !! Red flags all over the place !!
Got banned for saying palestine twice XD,
EDIT: Political statements are not allowed, i got unbanned when they saw it wasent political. Better check was better.
