I lost the money on the CoinMarketCap

I lost the money on the On-chain. After I google at the on-chain customer service. I want to file complaint. The company come the phone number and I start talk to the David Part and Harvey Win they said can help me recover the funds. After that they ask $10K to transfer fee from on-chain to CoinMarketCap. After that I ask other to open the wallet for transfer the money to the bank $2K. When I pay the amount ask when you transferred the funds back to the account, and they told me I need to pay for the fee 5% for the total , but I said I don’t have money, and they keep put me need to do today. They send me the email promise four hour. The money will go back to the account, but I need to put the fee first. So I transfer to the persons request account Cash-app. $5500, after 4 hours I did not receive the money and they answered my phone. This is scam and fraud. CoinMarketCap is fake company. I don’t understand Google loud they put at the computer.

Hello Bing, based on the information provided, it sounds like you are communicating with a scammer. As a reminder, CoinMarketCap is not an exchange or wallet, and as such, there is no deposit or withdrawal on our platform. This means, there are no funds (no money) on our platform. If there is someone telling you that you can transfer your funds to CoinMarketCap or that you have funds on CoinMarketCap, then they are a scammer. We recommend always contacting CoinMarketCap through our official request form: https://coinmarketcap.com/request This is how you will know you are speaking with the authentic CoinMarketCap team. App Works But Website Login Is Broken

My experience with CoinMarketCap has been deeply frustrating because the platform behaves inconsistently across its own systems.

I have an account registered with my email address. The account is accessible through the CoinMarketCap mobile app, which proves that the account exists and is active. I can open the app, access account settings, profile settings, linked accounts, and other account-related sections without being blocked.

However, when I try to log in to the official CoinMarketCap website using the same email address and the same password, the website repeatedly rejects the login attempt and displays an error saying that the email and password do not match.

This is where the problem becomes serious. If the credentials were truly invalid, then the mobile app should not be allowing access to the same account. Instead, the platform behaves in two contradictory ways:
1. The app accepts the account and lets me access it.
2. The website rejects the same account credentials.

To rule out user error, I went through multiple steps carefully:

- I used the correct email address associated with my account
- I attempted login from the official website
- I verified my email address when prompted
- I received account-related emails from CoinMarketCap
- I received a “Welcome Back” style email indicating that my account had already been registered before
- I also completed IP authorization when prompted
- I tried again after verification
- I tried using different browsers, including Chrome
- I checked the app and confirmed the account was still accessible there
- I also noticed additional platform instability when trying to edit parts of my profile, such as the bio not saving properly or the platform behaving inconsistently

So this is not a situation where I simply typed a random email and forgot what account I was using. The account clearly exists. The app clearly recognizes it. CoinMarketCap’s own email system clearly recognizes it. Yet the website still rejects the login.

That creates a very strong impression that the problem is on CoinMarketCap’s side, not on the user side.

From a technical perspective, this looks like one of the following:
- a synchronization issue between the mobile app and the website
- an authentication mismatch between app sessions and web login credentials
- an account state inconsistency in CoinMarketCap’s backend
- or a poorly maintained login system that does not behave consistently across platforms

The problem is made worse by the overall weak user experience:
- profile editing is unreliable
- the platform feels slow and unstable in some areas
- account-related actions do not always save or respond properly
- the website and app do not behave like parts of the same system

For a large crypto platform, this is unacceptable. Basic account access should be stable, consistent, and trustworthy. Users should not be able to access an account through the app while being rejected by the website for the same account details. That is confusing, unprofessional, and technically weak.

CoinMarketCap needs to properly investigate and fix this inconsistency instead of leaving users to guess whether the problem is their password, their browser, or the platform itself.

Many assets are missing

The data takes a long time to update, and many assets are missing. Perhaps this is due to a filter. But I would prefer you to add as much information as possible on as many cryptocurrencies as possible. You are the most popular service. Don't let your competitors get ahead of you.

I was told to invest 50$ to get started…

I was told to invest 50$ to get started by a friend. Then it grew a little bit then was asked for 250$ to withdraw my money. I only gave 225$ so they ask for another 200$. I’m still waiting for my withdrawal into my account. I think I’m never getting it. I think now I was scammed. I’m out 475$ which I really don’t have with all my bills and medical bills I have from a surgery I needed.
Since I can’t get my money now without a fee of 600$ to they say to activate my PayPal account. How is this possible? I think they are scamming me out of more money. They want that money In Apple Card’s. I’m not doing this. Or to deposit the money into a checking account of someone I don’t know ? Please someone tell me this is for sure a scam. Which I think it is ?

Very useful for my personal needs

Very useful for my personal needs. I track many cryptos, so I create my watchlists for my preferences. The UI has a clear structure and i really appreciate that unverified market caps are marked with a warning triangle.

What I really dislike is the social media section. It is full of fluff, bots and wannabe experts. But you can simply ignore it.

Btc to be sent back to my home account

My btc investor sent the money to this company to send the money to my account around July 2025. They asked some extra money for this and that but I've never got the money back. In mid-January 2026 the money was sent back to the company that sent it (fortunately also with the extra money I had paid) without returning me even a minimum amount of money, as expected. 6 months have passed and I'm at the initial point. They didn't take care of the customer and responded to requests a few times. I can't say that Coinmarketcap is a serious and responsible company. Now the money is back to the investor, thanks God.

App for fraudsters in crypto

This app is built for looking charts and comments of fraudsters and scammers and few people that are scamed and are still angry at losing money in crypto. Avoid this for your own mental health and remember crypto is not investment, it is pure gamble. Chance of winning in crypto even in a long run is very low. Coinmarket cap is product of binance, largest crypto exchange that is well known for fraud and scam, skip this

Crypto is gamble, not investment

this company cannot improve, they are manipulating data, scaming, frauding and lying about almost anything. Friendly advice, skip crypto as far as you can, this is not investment. I was not trader, I just "invested" money on so called good projects and after 5 years of waiting I am 87% in loss.

Scammers working from inside Coinmarketcap

It seems that Coinmarketcap does not understand this properly. A scammer creates an account on Coinmarketcap using my name, email address and an incorrect date of birth. I don't receive an email from Coinmarketcap informing me that an account has been created in my name. Then the scammer calls me to say that there is a large amount of money on the internet and that he can transfer it to my bank account for a certain fee. That money doesn't arrive and I see on the site that it is Coinmarketcap. So I file a complaint there. I don't know that I have an account there.
Coinmarketcap must therefore ensure that scammers cannot create an account in my name without me being notified by Coinmarket.
If I had been notified by Coinmarketcap that I had created an account, I would not have accepted it and the scammers would never have been able to contact me.
Coinmarketcap is therefore partly responsible.
I think the scammers will delete the account. I changed the password and the account is still there.
If Coinmarketcap wants to solve the problem, they can contact me and I will provide all the information I have.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

CoinMarketCap remains a solid reference…

CoinMarketCap remains a solid reference point for tracking crypto movements. The layout is clear, data updates fast, and listings cover almost everything you’d look for. Occasionally, charts load slowly, but overall it’s reliable for quick checks and market insights. A steady tool for anyone following the space.

CoinMarketCap DEX Signals is a useful tool to track markets

I’ve been using the CoinMarketCap DEX Signals for around one month, and it’s become a regular part of my daily market routine. I especially like how clearly the interface shows revived and fresh signals, along with trading volumes and “Smart Trader” activity. It gives a real sense of what’s happening across decentralized exchanges in near real time. The 24-hour and 7-day charts are easy to read, and I appreciate that I can filter by specific tokens or time frames. Occasionally, the interface feels a bit busy when many signals appear at once, but overall, it’s one of the most useful free tools I’ve found for tracking short-term DEX sentiment and on-chain momentum.
