What an incredible company & what amazing service. I bought socks at the BTC conference and the package had a pair of socks that did not match. Instead of just letting it go - they did an amazing thing - they matched both pairs with new socks!

Terrible platform
I am having the same issue as I see another review. I sent GBP12K from the same saved bank account I always send from and now being requested for my life accounts to explain where I got the money from because their partner bank apparently requires it. It is ridiculous and a complete mockery of having the platform to purchase crypto in the first place, since by the time the money is ready, it could well be too late for my transaction. I will search for another platform, unless this is resolved pretty quickly now Ive sent a ton of bank statements to them.

I would give no stars if that was an option. I sent £10k to CoinCorner on the 24th March. They wanted proof of funds which meant a lot of paperwork showing the line of funds from my inheritance from South Africa (for a lot more than £10k). I didn’t feel comfortable sharing this information as it felt too revealing. Ross said they couldn’t process the funds without the information, which is fair enough. I then asked for my funds (in pounds, not bitcoin) to be returned to my Revolut account. They initially said that Revolut won’t accept the return of funds. I had long conversations with Revolut and they said they had no record of refusing a return of funds. I have subsequently emailed Ross and their contact centre 21 times!!!!! I am still awaiting a return of my money. It’s been five weeks and they are simply not responding to any of my numerous messages over the last week.
My next stop is the financial conduct authority to try and get my money back.
Not one for writing negative reviews, however I see that they respond to the reviews on Trustpilot so hoping that I might get a response too!
Don’t go near them!

Our banking partner are clearly having some issues with the return of the funds to your Revolut account, and our team are chasing them regularly for updates to try and get your funds returned to you. We hope that our bank and Revolut are able to get this sorted soon and get the funds sent back.
Since our support team have responded to you now we'll leave this with them, and they'll try and keep you better updated going forward if and when they get updates from their correspondence with our banking partner.

Excellent Company for Online Payments
I signed up with CoinCorner for my online business to take Crypto payments, and the sales team were very responsive and extremely helpful. This personal touch for me was invaluable, we invoiced our first customer to pay with Bitcoin and the money was in the business account within 24 hours. So far the impression of CoinCorner is that they are a very professional and customer-oriented company with all the features we need to take online payments.

Poor value – there are much better options
I opened an account with CoinCorner, and then closed it when I realised this exchange was not for me. Compared with the major exchanges you will pay quite a bit more for your Bitcoin, and sell it for a less. Today the price difference between CoinCorner prices and Bitstamp is around £300 for 1BTC, whether you are buying or selling. Also the trading commission is higher, on CoinCorner it's 1% for larger trades, even more for small ones. Bitstamp for example has no commission on trades of up to $1000 per month, after that the rate starts at 0.3% decreasing on a sliding scale for larger trades.
It looks as if CoinCorner makes its money out of arbitrage – if you want to buy crypto, it simple buys it for less elsewhere and sells it to you for a profit. Why wouldn't it?
Also it has very few features, particularly it lacks analytical tools. This appears to be an exchange for hobbyists trading with very small amounts.
It does look simple to use, which is good, but that applies to most of the big exchanges now.
So I can't recommend CoinCorner, it's just poor value. There are much better options elsewhere.

It is worth noting that Bitstamp is a fundamentally different business model to ours. They offer a peer-to-peer matching service, whereas we operate on a brokerage model, where we back out to a number of different liquidity providers that are used by the top 25 exchanges. Our prices are therefore in line with most of the major exchanges.
Bitstamp are a trading platform offering dozens of different crypto assets as well as yield products. We are a Bitcoin exchange that believes in Bitcoin as a superior monetary technology and long-term asset. We encourage self-custody, as well as creating a Bitcoin circular economy through regular spending of bitcoin in the real world. It is by design therefore that we do not offer analytical trading tools. We have however designed and launched the world’s first contactless Bitcoin Lightning card – the Bolt Card; are the first company outside the US to offer cheap and easy remittances via the Lightning Network to Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Philippines and working on more; the first company to offer recurring Lightning payments; bitcoin cashback through over a thousand retailers; CoinCorner Checkout service for merchants to easily accept bitcoin payments and much more to come.
Bitstamp’s fee schedule is also different to ours. Whilst some of their fees are lower, partly due to their high volume trading model, they have higher fees than us in some other areas; fiat withdrawals for example.
I hope the above helps explain the differences between the two models and the type of business CoinCorner aims to be.

Stealing from inactive accounts
I just received an email from them telling me they're going to charge me for NOT using my account. No monetary account should be doing this and the fact they think they can get away with stealing money from people who don't use (and probably have forgotten) they have an account says all it needs to say. It's scummy and should be illegal, and they're counting on the laziness of people to allow them to steal money. Pathetic behaviour by a disgusting comapny

Thank you for your feedback regarding the email you received. Inactive account fees are quoted in our terms of service, which all users agree to when opening an account with us. We will always contact customers well in advance of any fees being charged to notify them and advise what they can do to prevent this. All that is required is to log into your account once on either the website or mobile app and this will reset the account as active for a further 24 months. We also encourage users who are comfortable doing so to withdraw their bitcoin to self-custody rather than leaving funds on the platform.
