Good for short term.

Was dropped because they messed up on their end. Sent me to the trainers, however the trainers never responded to me then I my account was took down! Yes they pay on time but happy to pull the rug underneath you when you hit the 10k mark in messages. They did a mass firing to outsource for even cheaper labor. But are those messages quality? No! Screw you Gary. As you can see my english is pristine. Unlike the new people you brought on.

Great gig for open minded folks

This job came through when I really needed a gig and if you're open-minded it's a great job. Payment is also made on time so that's great. My only issue was how long it took to get a response before officially starting work. Maybe James can improve on that.

Lying and horrible business

Horrible business model and recruitment, I highly recommend not associating with this company.

I saw a Dutch Instagram ad asking for "chat moderators". After applying I received a mail "to make sure there are no misunderstandings". The mail explained that the workers should be open to "erotic conversations", which already was a bit confused, but sure, sometimes conversations can turn sexual. Then they explained that 97% of their conversations are sexual, that their workers have to "play" as "different women" to talk to clients.

Long story short, there is no moderation job, they are essentially hiring chat sex workers. Oh and all this on freelance base for 9 cents per sent message. Disgusting!

Takes ages to get a reply from these people, took over 3 weeks to get a reply from the application and extensive paperwork they ask for. My native language is Dutch and i started there recently, there is only a few notes on wht to do then nothing! I had simple questions they were unanswered the person you have to contact Julie literally never answrs questions i wont be staying here to write sex messages for these people with men

Deceiving marketing. Its basically prostitution or pimp

You get payed to pimp or prostitute yourself? And incentivate sexual conversations or orgys?! What kind of work is this if they think its for anyone ? I received an e-mail clarifying what it was for and I’m a bit pissed of by their marketing in the website and internet, it looks like you have to moderate talks about especific subjects, like going to the gym, why people get frustrated , like themed conversations. In the site they say adult, not 18+ rated conversations. And from what I hear lots of people dont even get paid or talk to bots. Its just disgusting and I feel sorry they have some of my informations.

Dont recomend. Gave it a star so I could write this. They dont deserve stars, they deserve a porn website. (explicitly saying that)

Disgusting, misleading company

I am in shock. According to their website you have to chat to various partners/communities. You would think it’s for business purposes, but NO they want you to do online erotic messages through Skype. NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT SAY SO!! Otherwise I would’ve have never given my personal information. They are so misleading, it’s disgusting! I should’ve read the reviews first. I guess it was too good to be true.

Please watch out!!!

These people have no principle whatever...

They have reduced their rate of pay, so now they're sacking people so they don't have to pay the previous rate of 10 cents per message. They'll just write to you and complain about your work and dismiss you - this was done to my wife and myself after working with them for five years. Thank you, Gary Kerr or whatever your name really is - your morals are unbelievable.

I am not going to finish the process…

I am not going to finish the process because of the reviews. However, all the people leaving one star reviews have bad grammar and spelling, and the website clearly states you will be dropped without notice because of grammar and spelling errors. The two good reviews I read, those people had perfect writing skills.

Also nobody is reading the emails they get? It clearly says you will be an admin for a sexual website.

Found the ad online & saw it emphasized…

Found the ad online & saw it emphasized that your role is to make people feel better about themselves,( which I don't see why just sex stuff would, immature) & it did go on to say conversations can end up being of more adult nature,so,to me that can be mabe sexual details someone's sharing about their relationships & mabe the problems too they had, political, work, adult language, including profanity or possibly flirty & more & so I thought this would be great if it's really for the most part, sad, lonely ,bored people wanting a friend to text 24/ 7,talking casually, however you would when hanging out with friends,& I don't mind working anytime i'm needed, but like many here, went through the long application process! I remember applying back in Aug 2022,took much longer than others here,to get a response, besides the automatic one right after submitting an application,I was to start training the beginning of Sept 2022,I thought they forgot about me or wasn't gonna hire me,I had computer issues,so I let recruiter Jane know the issue the day before & that I need to re-scedule in about a few days, since I had no tangible way to contact Mike, outside of Skype, she then said that she doesn't deal with any communications after the 1 email, from there,so I went to the main email for the company, clearly stated who my trainer is,who I am,the issues I am having, need to reschedule, that I told Jane, but she won't communicate further she said,& that I wasn't given a way to contact Mike, outside if Skype & that was part of my issues setting up,& the computer too,so how was I gonna contact him through that!I kept the communications going,no responses back, then Nov 8,2022,I got james' email saying to contact Mike for another training day,I did as soon as I saw that msg,& 0,& I kept communications going to Mike after,& 0!I was also letting James know I been msg Mike & 0,no response. Many companies take long to hire & have our sensitive personal info, which they can all be guilty of identity theft too, even those that hire fast, but to take this long,I do all the communicating,no responses from them but a few, spread out over months, even I got suspicious then,& figured I better look up other review sites than those I saw saying they saved their lives,& saw all of these experiences,& am thinking, uh oh!& why the heck would a co advertise they are hiring urgently,in need of more workers to cover all different times, but yet, take so long,& act like they are gone & in no hurry? All very odd,the whole thing!Nov 16 was the last time I msg them.

English Branch Sucks 1* to much

The company might be OK, if you do not consider the sexual content or the fact that they are cooperating with porn sites to phish their clients.
Their english department stuff is useless. No organizational order, lost 3 times my docs, so I had to submit again. End of the first working month they only paid out less than half of my earned money. After complaints they cancelled my contract, obviously they monitored me, what is impossible, they should have fired 80% of the moderators for not following the rules. They never answered.
Who is the guilty part here, Garry, James, or Leonardo, 3 persons making the job of a half day secretary, or ist it the one who gave an opportunity to these non talented project leaders?
A one star qualification for the english branch is even to much.

No salary

I worked for this company for about 2 months and have not received my salary. I tried to contact the manager who hired me, then I wrote directly to the info email of Cloudworkers, but there was no reply.
Moreover, the job is about talking with different men on the website, but the messages come once an hour. So the maximum you can earn is 3 euros a day. But that's not a problem, because you will not see your money anyway. Just wasted my time.
I have a contract, but who will go to court for unpaid 10 euros?

I have been working for Cloud workers…

I have been working for Cloud workers for almost four years, Gary and Josh are amazing, they pay on time. This job has saved my life during covid, when most people had little to no income and lost their jobs, I made so much money because the rand had dropped. I have helped so many of my friends to apply so they can sustain their kids because getting a job in South Africa is so hard. Uk1446 is a happy chappy

From gardening tips to online sex chats… ?

Applied after seeing an Instagram ad and thinking it would be a great way to save up some extra money for a vacation next to my regular job. After a few days I received an automessage per mail stating that I had applied for a chatmoderating job that included sexual conversations in which I had to pretend to be different women, I was completely weirded out because in the ad they were talking about customer service, and chatting about gardening and cooking tips, and other harmless things. Good thing I found this Trustpilot page, I am NOT scheduling that second job interview and neither should you! Totally weird, sketchy company.
