I've never even got paid for working…

I've never even got paid for working the months that I have been. And Jane said continue working and booking shifts even if you aren't verified yet. I really want to report this company because I feel used.
They banned my account for being Inactive after the 7 days and it hasn't even been 7 days.
I don't like how this company works. I want to report them ASAP and they owe me money as well. It's an inconvenience because I sent all my DOCUMENTS and haven't heard anything about me being verified yet.
And James it's not acceptable either the way you talk to your employers. Just know I will report this company better yet sue and take legal actions if I don't get my money. Never met a company that was a worst as this! do yourself a favor and don't work here.

Scamworkers

Cloudworkers? More like scamworkers. You have to pretend to be a woman to lure men into spending large amount of money on fake dating sites. You can not tell the victims you're an agent unless they specifically ask you, and even then you're expected to change the subject to keep the conversations going.

The only reason why this is legal is because the sites have "We utilize agents" in their terms of service, though this is typically one line in the middle of a gigantic terms of service with 20+ pages no one bothers to read, and these sites are well aware of this.

You lure people for a few cents per message sent. They make bogus claims about how much you can make. The amount being of course if you send an unreasonable amount of messages per hour, if you even can (you may sometime not get any messages at all for long period of times because there aren't enough clients active).

My boss was an absolute dirtbag. Complained about every tiny mistake I made. Meanwhile, other agents did not give a damn (can't blame them) and never organized client notes, but they got away with it most of the time.

And to top if all of, this terrible boss of mine gave us a christmas bonus. A cent or so extra per message after sending at least 200 messages first. So after 200 messages, I would earn a cent extra! WOW, 1-2 extra dollars, how generous of you!

Never work for this company. Biggest pile of dog poo I have ever seen.

I wouldn’t even bother applying to this…

I wouldn’t even bother applying to this fake company. You’re getting paid to pretend to be other women/gay men to scam people out of their money. You get paid €0.10 per message when people are paying lots of money to speak to these women and they expect you to write detailed messages. I only worked there for a few months and I got paid next to nothing, to get a decent wage you need to be messaging all day everyday. Avoid avoid avoid.

Gary

Gary, Josh, Tash, Gregg, and Sam are not attentive! They do not respond to you! Tash is so rude! I worked a whole month and not getting paid! Do not fall for this scam! I am so mad, I am turning them into the BBB tomorrow! That is for sure. They should not be in business. All they do is make people believe that they're talking to somebody and it's different girls but it's a fake picture and they're spending a lot of money when it's all fake.

Pagamentos sempre realizados no devido tempo.

I have worked with this company for several years and I have absolutely no complaints, as even in the most complicated moments they were extremely empathetic and allowed me to work and make my performance more cheerful. My gratitude to the coordinators who were always available. Payments always made on time.

Not recommended

I used to work for this company. A lot is expected of you for very poor pay and you are paid monthly. You are also paid in Euros even though the company in London based and there seems to be a charge from your pay for the privilege. Would not recommend.

The guy Mike Leonardo was really rude

The guy Mike Leonardo was really rude. I was in training when I got this gut feeling not to continue with it. How are you going to pay me five cents a message but I have to type out 75 words? It's just a useless company that's just basically scamming you. Many people would give out their information and never hear from these people again. But however they told me I had to talk to some clients. I don't mind sexual content. But with all of this oh make sure your English is perfect. Make sure you have this many words. Make sure not to call the clients dear or sweetie. I'm like okay but if this is sexual chat. How are we starting this? And they don't even really help you they just be like go for it. If you don't do the messages they want you to do it they don't hire you. When I asked a question he talked to me like a child. Talking about you dig? Even if they did hire you congratulations on that $8 a month because they only pay you every 10th of the month 🤣. They even have to beg for their chat moderators to come in and talk to these people. You're better off going to something that will give you like $3 a minute. There's other chat sites that pay way more and you'll be able to replace your 9 to 5:00 jobs with those. Don't bother with this. Get into data entry get into tech you will get more money and have a livable wage. How the heck you going to survive off getting paid once a month? Get a real job it ain't worth it. Good thing I listened to my gut feeling. Oh and remember they'll never tell you how much they pay you in the beginning. That dude literally got mad when I said the pay isn't high enough. Then he's going to tell me I should have asked in the beginning. Like what the f dude.

Worst experience ever!

Their hiring team is absolutely unprofessional. Speaks to you like a child. Expected me to be available for my "interview" almost 2 hours before my scheduled time, when I asked about it ,he said and I quote "Ready now?Theres no problem at all, I just need to call you for the ID" so I reply "Ok. I'm available but you were still trying to call me almost 2 hours before my scheduled appointment. That's where I was confused" his reply "Can we please move on?"... this is just an absurd way to handle business. Mind you my appointment was at 10am his first message came in at 650 am! Then again at 815 telling me he was about to call me. I think I'm justified on asking about the times. They verified my timezone while setting up my appointment.

Scam: I never got paid

I worked for them from Aug 4, 2023- Aug 22, 2023. On the 4th I sent all of the documentation they asked for in order to get paid at the end of the month. They sent me an email on the 22nd of august, stating they hadn't received my information. I sent it about 15 more times and they kept saying they didn't receive my information. It was sent on my end. I have never been paid from this company

This is the worst company you can be…

This is the worst company you can be working for. They have a strategy of scamming their low paid workers so called agents. They hire throughout the year and that enables them to lay off a good number of agents every month. They won't lay you off early enough but will wait until end month when you have of course spend all your time behind that PC flirting with their clients. Those who work very hard and write many messages get their accounts deactivated and you will never even get an email indicating why you got your account blocked. You won't be paid after your account is deactivated. Gary is so smart in laying of guys and ignoring emails. Scam site.

Ok if you want to be a sex chat worker

When I saw their ad I was immediately drawn in..I was looking for a remote position that could be done from anywhere, and this looked good. Chat moderator, which to me is keeping an eye on the chat, making sure nobody steps out of like, removing racist, abusive, overly sexual comments etc.
So then, it said you need to be open to flirty messages…ok, not too scary.
On receiving my invitation to training, the ‘manual’ was full of how to keep ‘him’ engaged and that you had to carry on explicit sexual conversations/sexual activity as long as nothing was illegal, while pretending to be a fake young female.
I'm a 61 year old woman, open minded, yes, but not a sex worker! I also know what a chat moderator is and it certainly isn't what they're advertising in their job adverts!

Cloudworkers UK - The only bad thing is the pay.

Cloudworkers UK - The only bad thing is the pay. I am in the USA. It did take a while between applying and getting a response and interview and getting hired. There is a lot of paperwork that needs to be read carefully, not because it is confusing or hiding anything, but because you have to follow the directions very precisely. I think that anyone who can read between the lines had a pretty good idea when applying, just exactly what kind of job this is (adult sexting). I don't mind it. It does make me worry I might lose interest in sex after talking about it all day with strangers lol Your identity is hidden, you are protected behind a fake profile, there is no danger. It can be fun if you like storytelling and roleplaying (not just sexually) and being creative. HOWEVER, my ONLY complaint is you only get paid 10 cents (USD) per text message that you send. I just did my first round of messages and in 1 hour I sent 23 messages. So at 10 cents per message I just made $2.30 for one hour of work. I obviously can't keep that up. That's not even enough to pay for a gallon of gas. With each message you get you have to read the person's profile and notes and previous conversations so you can stay in character and then reply - this means sending messages can take up to 3 minutes or longer for each message. You would have to send 100 messages per hour in order to just make $10/hour. It's just not possible, all messages have to be at least 75 characters and fit the ongoing conversation. I am actually bummed, I could really excel at this job if they paid a decent rate! Also they only pay once per month, on or about the 14th of each month for the previous month. Not sure if I want to put in a whole month to find out if they really pay you or not.

They could be a scam

They could be a scam. Took forever to get someone to respond to book the interview as I was instructed. Finally after doing the interview and giving my personal info, I never heard from them again. Did I pass fail or what? They said at the end of the interview should have results in few days... It is 2 weeks and 2 days later and no response... emailed 4 times about to do a 5th. So unprofessional I have to question legitimacy. Don't do it, they have your info and then suddenly can't message ANYTHING back.

Scam!

Applied before reading reviews. They said I needed to speak the language of the country applied to when it was a native applying anyway! Very rude in their email and there was not even a language test so that means they lied. They seem to be in with E-moderators too which is a scam and they work for Shag.com. Contact all these to report them and for money owed.
