Just finished my second C/N spectacle case(Puffins
& Fair Isle designs) for Christmas presents. The quality of the Cleopatra's Needle designs are superb & a pleasure to create by hand. The canvas is strong & I'm sure long-lasting. Appletons wools are beautiful & instructions very clear.
Because everyone is slightly different in the sewing technique, I ran out of a couple of different coloured wool & Robert at Cleo's Needle was very friendly
& helpful. And, Diana & colleagues at Appletons customer service were fantastic in assisting me with extra wool.
These are products made with love & dedication & make great heritage presents for family & friends. Will definitely order again soon.

Wanting a customised tapestry produced from a photograph, I have been very pleased with the one supplied by Cleopatra's Needle. They went above and beyond helping to identify the best image to produce good end results I'm over half way through creating the tapestry now, following the colour coded printed canvas, which has made it very easy to reproduce the photo image. I will definitely approach them again if I have a similar project.

Great range of tapestry wool colours available, really well packaged to keep wool clean whilst working on my project and prompt delivery. Also very competitively priced.
They also picked up on my error of ordering a mix of skins and hanks of wool and corrected this for me by substituting half hanks for the skeins so the batch numbers all match and there won't be any shading difference. This alone makes them amazing but with all of the above I would definetly recommend and would use again
