Having been given an incomplete Tapestry set by a relative that I wanted to make up I contacted the company to see if it was possible to buy the missing elements. Robert was most helpful and confirmed they could supply all that I needed. My enquiry was dealt with promptly and within a matter of days I’d had the goods delivered. I have just completed "cherries on black" glass's case and I can recommend. Everything you need is in the kit, ample wool. It is the first project I have undertaken since having an accident and stroke but the size of it meant I wasn't overwhelmed, it helped me use my affected hand, was something that I enjoyed. I wanted a number of colours of crewel wool for a project but couldn't find 2 of them. I emailed an enquiry and the response was almost instant which allowed me to complete my order. The order came very quickly and nicely packed. Top marks for great service.

I started ordering my Appletons tapestry wools from Robert and Ute from Cleopatra’s Needles last year and each time the service has been excellent. It is clear that they really care about their customers and my experience has been fantastic. I live overseas (and rely on family to bring my orders over to me) and nothing is too much trouble, they deal with the orders very quickly, with a really lovely personal touch which is so important to me. It is an absolute pleasure dealing with them and I recommend them absolutely. I won't shop anywhere else!

Excellent service. Particularly pleased that for a small extra charge they can send your canvas rolled up rather than folded.

Ordered a couple of small beginner's Tapestry Kits for great grandchildren to try on 21st January. They were dispatched on 22nd, and arrived here on 24th. Great service and rather cute kits that I'm sure they'll enjoy attempting.

While Living in America, finding the Appletons tapestry wool in great quantities is very difficult and time consuming. But I took a chance and ordered in bulk from Cleopatras Needle and received all I required with in a shorter time with less hassle. Thank you to Robert and his staff for their fantastic service.
