I purchased set of Pfeil lino cutting tools and a Flexcut slip strop from Classic Hand Tools. They delivered them earlier than the expected time which was a nice surprise. The tools were a competitive price. They were packaged well and I am very pleased to have chosen a good company to buy from.

Recently purchased several Glenn Lucas lathe turning gouges. They are beautiful and the service from Classic Hand Tools was outstanding. Excellent service and excellent tools - what else can you ask for?

I was unsure what to expect as they seemed cheaper than places I’d normally buy from even with postage, Jackson’s art and Amazon, but am glad I used them. I’ll use them again.

Recently purchased a Ray Iles block plane blade to replace a 40 year plus worn out Record one. The replacement appears to be slightly thicker than the old record one, but is of equal quality. It's not often you can say that with modern steel compared to vintage Sheffield. Takes an edge and appears to stay sharp.

I recently purchased a few items from classic hand tools as I have also done in the past. Each time I have made these purchases I have had excellent help & support from the staff with the items well packaged and arriving promptly at my address. On this last occasion with no exception both Joy & Alex ensured that I received my items with ease, again promptly delivered to the Isle of Wight which can become tiresome and problematic.

Fantastic supplier of top quality hand tools that you know have been carefully selected by folks who know what they are talking about. Also they have been solid supporters of woodworking tool shows over the years where you can see / try the items so great to support them over an overseas box shifter.

I have been buying tools from Classic Hand Tools in Suffolk for many years. However,I have had several tools with manufacturing problems over the years and Classic Hand Tools have always responded very quickly to resolve the problem (s) at hand. In my experience with them they cannot be faulted on how they respond to customers needs. They are the best!
