Randomizer is causing poor teaching
I am a pshe teacher and our school policy is that we have to use this function for every question we pose, we then have to pause and the pounce (as it select a student) using the app.
Rather than facilitating class discussion, it ruins it! I can’t believe I am supposed to use this app all the time. Whatever happened to teachers getting to know their students based on their individual learning needs. Instead we are using an app!!! Get rid of the thing now! It’s unsafe and there’s a BBC news article saying it has been hacked.
Really poor onboarding
Really poor onboarding.
Can only see 1 of my children - second child doesn't work. Either school has provided the incorrect date or birth of my second child or the software has a bug. Maybe use a different unique reference.
Please add notifications for homework!
Please add notifications for homework!! The app is okay but please add notifications when teachers add homework..
i nearly died using this app
my school started to use this app.
i became sad
its too easy to punish kids instead of giving them merits for the good things.

It was a sunny day and I was going to my personal doom also know as school to adults, I look at my class charts app and sees negatives on my account umm what the sigma…. I’m an ALPHA AND I DONT DESERVE THIS! DELETE THIS ALL NOW!! If you are a teacher and use this your not sigma and will never be an alpha male like us students 🐺
My moving, heart-breaking story of how class charts ruined my life. DONT GET THIS APP.
It was a perfect sunny day and I was looking forward to school, ready to roll, both backpack straps as tight as they could be with a bounce in my step. But it all changed when I walked through those glistening school gates and my tutor sat us down and gave us the heart-breaking news - teams is gone, class charts is here. Looking around, I examined my fellow pupils' expressions but they all seemed completely normal, the only difference was that their lips silently chanted the spelling of class charts. I felt like an alpha, superior to the others as I remained unaffected by this virtual pandemic. There seemed to be something suspicious in the air and I could feel the negativity pulsing through my veins. It was as if a spell had been put on the entire school and I was frightened, unsure what to do next. Summoning my masculine power, like Charles Murray would have wanted, I breathed in deeply and sauntered out of the classroom - I would not submit to this.
I ran all the way home, pushing through a crowd of people jogging - they too were affected, eyes glued to their screens as they gazed at the purple icon. It was as I turned onto my street that I began to feel the pull of the app's power. 'Oh no' I thought 'I hope it's not reached gran yet!'
I strutted to my front door, destroying it with one flick of my finger - thankfully my alphaness was more powerful than the class charts curse.
Around my kitchen table I spotted my family, seated around the table all eyes on me. Although they seemed to look at me, their pupils were burnt with the sinister shape of the colourful jumping children. In unison they chanted, so quickly the only word I could make out was "LEAVE" I reached forward, spying the glowing phone in the middle of the table, but before I could turn it off, my gran began levitating and the phone shook violently. One after the other my family members floated up into the air and began swimming like tadpoles around the kitchen.
I was wrong to think I could save them for just a second later, their body's morphed and soon they each turned into one of the colourful jumping children from the class charts logo. Their chanting grew louder and all I could do was watch as my own family were destroyed by class charts.
I am now homeless and will discard my phone after spreading this awareness in fear it will continue to haunt me. Sometimes I still hear the faint voices of chanting so now I wear a tinfoil hat to block out the signals.
DONT LET YOUR BRAIN BE CONTROLLED BY CLASS CHARTS. WEAR YOUR FOIL HATS.
Save yourself while you still can...
Just no
ClassCharts is so easy to use for punishments, that it makes teachers use it too much and rely on it. If you’re a teacher, then fyi ClassCharts makes you demonic
Only good if teachers remember to update!!!!
Great for keeping up on what homework my child has.
Rubbish for behavior upkeep as teachers generally forget to update this app daily
this website is abysmal
this website is abysmal, horrible and down right unfair the only way to make it better is to shut it down!
Do not trust
It prevents teachers taking accountability for their actions. No English homework set for a whole term so they blame the app instead of their own actions. Schools say they want children to engage more without technology yet invest in apps...total contradition. App doesn't load homework on time so kids suffer.
Do not take feedback from teachers on board
As a teacher who uses ClassCharts daily, I find myself spending a significant amount of time navigating the platform. Unfortunately, there are a few pain points:
Seating Plans: The inability to clear seating plans is frustrating. Despite raising this issue multiple times, the response has been to “create a new room.” Consequently, our room list is now cluttered.
Random Name Generator: The random name generator occasionally selects absent students, even though ClassCharts is aware of their absence.
In summary, while ClassCharts offers useful features, these usability issues can be quite cumbersome. Hopefully, improvements will address these concerns in the future.
