Overall a scary experience

The first time I opened Class Mcharts, I didn’t expect anything to change.
It was just another app. Another icon on my screen. Another thing teachers told us might help. I remember staring at it for a few seconds, my thumb hovering over it, thinking, This probably won’t make a difference.
I was wrong.
At that time, everything felt messy. My homework was scattered across different notebooks. I kept forgetting deadlines. Sometimes I’d remember an assignment at the worst possible moment—late at night when I was already tired, or in class when everyone else was handing theirs in. That feeling in my chest—tight, heavy, like I was always one step behind—never really went away.
But when I opened Class Mcharts, something felt… different.
It was simple. Calm. Clear.
I started adding my classes. Maths. Science. English. History. Each one appeared neatly on the screen, like pieces of a puzzle finally fitting together. Then I added assignments. Tests. Homework. Slowly, the chaos in my head started moving into the app, where I could actually see it.
And when things are visible, they’re not as scary.
The next morning, I checked Class Mcharts before school. It showed me exactly what I needed to do that day. No guessing. No panic. Just a plan.
For the first time in a while, I walked into school feeling ready.

me and my fellow students were living fine until the teachers were suddenly overcome by some curse ... CLASS CHARTS.

suddenly they decided to block all of our apps exept showbie , sparx and CLASS CHARTS.
then the tecahers started pressing buttons and behavior point demons started coming out of the teachers ipads and started attacking us.

then the teachers threw them in a dark damp room where we got lectured by demons about our "behavior" and forcing us to write unmeaningless "apoligy" letters to our possesed teachers for things we didnt do.
this brought anxiety , starvation and 10 hour homework in their wake.

and just as soon as we finished our 8 hour after school detentions and we thought it was finnaly all over...
my mum starts shouting at me that were all grounded.

so in general dont download it :(

And the winner is…the eagle!

Not for its beauty - I think there are plenty of birds that are more colourful and beautiful than the various species of eagle, most of which are just some combination of brown, white and black. However, as I often confess, I love predators, and I just get more excited about seeing birds of prey than I do any other kind.

I remember almost every sighting of an eagle in Africa, particularly the African fish eagle and the glorious martial eagle.

I’ve also been frequently disappointed when the big, eagle-like bird perched in a distant tree has turned out to be ‘just’ a vulture! That’s some measure of the excitement I feel on seeing an eagle.

However, the best picture I’ve ever taken of one is probably this close-up of a golden eagle.

I was actually attending a re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings at Battle Abbey in East Sussex, and I found out that there was going to be a falconry display. I went along to that and saw various birds of prey, including the golden eagle, the Harris hawk and the gyrfalcon.

When the falconer had finished his routine, he went back to his tent and tethered the birds while he fed and watered them. That gave me the perfect opportunity to get some great close-ups, and this is my favourite.

I took it about three feet away from the eagle with the 50-500mm lens that I had at the time. When my friend James printed it for me and I hung it on my wall, I ended up staring at it for about 20 minutes while we chatted together!

I love the catchlight in the eye, the sharpness of the detail and the bokeh background. A worthy winner…

ClassCharts has a lot of potential, as data shows that it is both useful for pupils and teachers. However, ClassCharts is missing a few features that would make the software even better.

Form Messaging Feature:
ClassCharts should add a form messaging feature, a part of the already existing messaging service, you can message pupils in your form at once, along with the form tutor. Obviously add moderation systems.

Revamp UI:
To make the UI (User Interface design) more accessible and attractive, for students, teachers, and parents, revamping the UI to a more modern design will make the software seem more professional and modern. A phycological concept is: More Modern = More Reliable.

📘 the day ClassCharts Stole My Family
*(A Totally True Story According to ME)*

It all started on a Tuesday—always a suspicious day. I logged into ClassCharts to check my homework, but the page took unusually long to load. Instead of my timetable, a message flashed:

**“Updating… Acquiring Family…”**

Before I could refresh, my mum shouted from downstairs,
“Why am I getting notifications about your behaviour points?!”

Then my dad yelled,
“Why does this app say I’m late to Maths?”

ClassCharts had somehow… enrolled my entire family.

By lunchtime, the situation escalated.
My little sister received lunch detention for “excessive giggling.”
My mum got a negative point for “talking during silent reading.”
My dad got sent to isolation for “incorrect tie.” He wasn’t even wearing one.

I tried contacting support, but all I got back was:
**“Your family has been added to Set 7B. Good luck.”**

That night, ClassCharts fully took over.
My parents were given timetables.
My sister had a seating plan.
Even the dog received 3 behaviour points for “running in the corridor.”

By morning, my family had completely vanished…
The only clue? A new notification pinged:

**“Your family has been moved to another classroom. Please do not attempt retrieval.”**

And that’s how ClassCharts stole my entire family and replaced them with a new set of “recommended guardians,” who kept giving me achievement points for loading the dishwasher.

Honestly? Not the worst trade.

CLASS CHARTS MADE MY MUM DIE so i was walking to school one cloudy morning and realised i had maths first lesson (i forgot to bring my homework) i sat down and my teacher gave me a disturbed look on her face as she realised i hadnt brought in my homework i knew the storm that was abt to unleash as she ran to the computer to put on a negative, as i was walking home the clouds darkend as tons of rain came pelting down. i stepped through the front door and my mum was ready to shuv a 16 foot steel pole up my bum as my dead nana comes back to life on my kitchen table my dad that left when i was a baby walked through the door with a belt my mum started spinning in circles and flew to the cieling , sher went into cardiac arrest and died, i was distraught my dad started bumming her and crying wishing i wasnt a failure and my nana (dead one) turned into a fury and bit me and chased me up the stairs. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

This app is what makes my eyes think and my brain see 😭. I was checking my homework and i had 69000 pieces of maths homework aswell as 584642972 negatives all for messing around in dance lessons (couldnt be me). Next my cat looked at it and it started flashing my cat started doing the worm and started barking. My fish climbed out of its tank and got a towel before chasing me 10 miles down my village. My house turned upside down all bc of this app. Dont get me started on "negatives" if the teacher says. Erm thats a negative ! 🤓. I just dont care then its me and my friends trying not to laugh or we get sent to the teachers cuberd further awaiting our deathly punishment.

It sent my grandma and I were in the room then I checked what homework I had it then proceeded to start flashing lights and she went into an epileptic seizure and got pumped back to the dinosaur era. We saw her get eaten by a T rex on David Attenborough’s documentary. The next day I checked my negatives (157832674529076) and the car radio started playing thick of it. The engine couldn’t take it anymore and exploded. It launched me 10000000000 metres up then I died of fall damage.

Class Charts might have started with good intentions, but in practice it causes significant emotional harm to children. The negative points system creates anxiety and discouragement, pupils can be marked down for the smallest things like yawning, breathing too loudly, or minor misunderstandings. It also gives teachers too much power with little accountability, and when parents try to challenge unfair marks, the process is opaque and frustrating. This app risks normalising a “social credit” mindset similar to systems seen in authoritarian countries, where people are penalised for trivial matters. Class Charts should be limited to homework tracking, not used as a tool for public shaming or emotional punishment.

I’m 13 and how can the negative points system exist? I thought humans were more evolved than this. Who thought giving a constant reminder of every ‘bad’ thing you did at school in the last year was a good idea. This barbaric ‘system’ (if you can even call it that) gives me nightmares, anxiety and makes me scared of school. And in some classes you can see others fails on the seating chart.
This is stupid.

So at the start of my new year, during assembly, we were introduced to a new app - class charts. ‘Teams is a more financial app so we have decided to switch to a more kid-friendly app. Best of luck.’ Or so they said. Over the span of the next few days some strange things were happening. My classroom desks all got flipped upside down, the bushes were trimmed into the shape of a strange, simple person mid way through a star jump. And finally the worst one….all my rizz had disappeared! Everyday I would rizz up the ladies but it didn’t work anymore. This. Was. Serious.

If I didn’t do something quickly, everyone would suffer. I started to think whilst roaming the hallways and that was when a teacher approached me. ‘Ahem. HEY YOU! YEAH YOU! YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN HERE! DETENTION!’ Then slowly as my ears were recovering, I was sure I saw a purple figure standing behind her mouthing: wa.. up….wake up….

Soo basically i was in lesson right,. just doing my work, as usual the students that were messing around was punished by the strict math teacher, but today felt weird, when he sent homework, my cat Angel came, she looked at my wheel and she exploded bit by bit, bleeding all over the floor, i tried to stop it before it was to late, my mom went to check the announcements was also claimed victim by the class charts app,she went exploding and i had no family here, i called my friend right and the green person out of class charts came out and punched him!"!!this app also disrupted my ski bidi rizz in math block!

So, I was walking to school one day and decided to check teams, but I couldn't log in to my account. It said that there wasn't an account with that email. I went to school, and that's when the headteacher came into an announcement ‘Hello everyone we will be switching from teams to class charts to increase productivity.’ I missed teams, I didn't mind the app, until period 1, some kid called Caleb started chanting in class, ‘BRING BACK TEAMS!’ The teacher didn't even seem to mind, he was just on his computer, but then a sound came out of his computer, it was the sound of a spring. No one knew what it meant until the teacher said, ‘you have lunch detention.’ It didn't affect the rest of us, in fact, we decided to troll him by knocking on the door that detention took place in. Fellow classmate Miles decided to peek through the window, but they didn't see Caleb. They saw a yellow figure, the students next to them warped into other figures, blue, green and purple. No one knew what was going on, until I realized, they turned into the figures in the class charts logo, then we realized, getting a negative result in sacrificing their soul, I quickly ran out and into my lesson just in time. The same can't be said for the 5 other students. The moment they heard the dreaded spring, they walked away, chanting class charts. Through the next week, our class got emptier and emptier, if you were a second late, SPRING, if you bumped into someone, it would be level 2 assault. Eventually it was only me left, I did nothing wrong, yet I heard the spring, the dreaded spring, but I didn't do anything, then I checked my phone, ‘missed homework’ But I did my homework, I checked when the homework was assigned, 1 minute ago, class Charts wanted no survivors, it was a trap, I uncontrollably started walking to the detention hall, all I could control was my arms, In a last resort, I got my phone out and uninstalled classcharts, I was free of this sick virus, but I had a mission, to destroy classcharts once and for all. I now live a quiet life, because classcharts know everything about me, and the more people that install the app means the more people hunting me down.

More importantly the psychology of the design is almost non educational.
