Poor customer service

My recent call has been perfectly showing the low point in the CibBank. How they dare to speak to their customers is unbelievable. Not showing any sign of helping and their tone is very pocking. I suggested the lady to get some customer service training because clearly she has not been trained nor knows how to speak to a human being at all. I am glad i will no longer have a bank account with them. Worst experience, horrible service and dead ends at taking care of your account. Calling me out i had time to make amends while that was non of their business yet to judge me for calling them and asking me rude do i know which bank am i talking to?
That is Hungary right now. If in the future i need to open a bank account in Hungary( hope not) then i will definitely go to an other bank. I do not recommend this bank at all.

Very bad customer service!!

I have been a customer at CIB Bank in Szombathely with my KFT for over 20 years. Since I don't speak Hungarian and changing banks with a KFT is complicated, I persevered! But now the measure is full! The customer service is incredibly bad, the employees are unfriendly! Long waiting times even though the branch is almost empty?! Just a lady with a splint on her leg! She has the number in front of me and has been waiting for 40 (!) minutes! -> In any case, I'm now looking for a new bank!

Worst bank I have ever used

Worst bank I have ever used. On vacation in sharm at rixos adult.Used the ATM and the machine did not return my card and didn't pay out the money but managed to debit it from my account. Took over 3 days of constant phone calls and visits to local bank i managed to get my card back but not the money the machine kept. Was told to contact my own bank when I return to England who I assume will say according to yourstatement you have had this money. CIB have shown complete indifference to the problems this has caused me on vacation. Will advise anyone not to use this bamk

Public theft

The worst service ever, long waiting lines inside the branches, in addition to the miserable treatment from the customer service gentlemen and the call center services are always out of service, and what is new now is that they withdraw the customers’ cards.

CIB online banking

This online banking experience is beyond awful. The checkout system is a nightmare to navigate, with unnecessary extra codes and endless text messages making online purchases feel like a convoluted mess. Trust in the bank's handling of your money? Non-existent. The communication is abysmal, and the user experience design is a disaster. My recommendation? Steer clear of this bank like the plague. CIB? More like, Can't It Be better?

Worst bank experience of my life

Worst bank experience of my life, and ive had a few experiences. I am a EU-member state foreigner living with permanent resident, with a full-time employment with a Hungarian company, I have a very high salary for Hungary.
I applied for a personal loan 10,000,000huf, I have NO prior loan och credits to my name.
The loan-application time with my (Hungarian citizen) wife as a translator took almost 3h, I got checked and pre-approved in all the checks, they said it would take 3-5days before the money was paid out to my, newly setup account in CIB. Then 7days later 14:30 on a Friday they tell me, im not approved and that I need a co-creditor, they can't tell me why but I need one, so my wife and I have to fix all the documents for her as well. Then 1h before our new booked appointment, they call me and say my wife can't be my translator any more, so we have to bring my mother-in-law to translate documents that i´ve already signed 6days ago. But now for some reason I have to sign ALL the papers again and do a new application. So Me, My wife, My Mother-in-Law and my sick 2y.old son have to sit at CIB again for 2 ½h to fill out everything they've demanded form us to get approved.
AND NOW, 2days later when they said the money would be in my account they say my application is denied. No reason, they won't tell me why, it just is.
I´ve never in my life felt so badly and wrongly treated by a bank. And now they won't give me a chance to make a formal complaint to the local bank manager, they won't give me her name or phone number. They don't care. They want me to send an email to their standard (We don't care) complaint-email cib.hu. They told me I should receive an answer within the next 30-45days, but they still won't give me a reason why they took 2weeks to decide, with no grounds, forced me to take time off work to fix documents and pick them up.
The only good thing is Bianka and Adrienn in the front office, they been very kind and its everyone else that's been terrible. So my only recommendation is NEVER SET YOUR FOOT IN A CIB-BANK I HUNGARY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR´RE NOT A HUNGARIAN CITIZEN, THEY DONT WANT YOU, THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER BANKS THAT WILL TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND BE HELPFUL. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. NEVER GO TO CIB.
