We made a mistake setting our Chubb alarm
We made a mistake setting our alarm and couldn't reset it, risking annoying the neighbours by it going off in the middle of the night. A Chubb engineer came very promptly and solved the problem with our panel in house. I added that I had had trouble with my Android Texecom application since it had installed itself an upgrade. The engineer said, that's not my area of competence (I was very grateful for his honesty on that). He rang the Texecom engineer but after several attempts, we couldn't resolve the issue over the phone. Daniel, the Chubb engineer, said he would call out a Chubb Texecom expert, which he did. An engineer arrived the following day, today, fixed the app on my phone and added my husband's phone. Excellent. Very pleased.

Initial response was poor in that the appointment of 9am was so delayed, I had to ask what was happening. We were then 1 hour late - no calls or explanation. My phone call enabled another engineer to call and complete the repair.
This engineer was prompt, efficient and handled the repair very well.

It took over 5 months and regular chasing to get an issue raised at the annual service to be resolved.
The engineer who finally ended up with the issue was great, keeping us informed and going the extra mile.
But overall we were very dissastisfied.
