DOSEN’T WORK!!
Selling off their old Mojo2’s and their retailer can’t send one that works via Optical, and the FOURTH one has no battery charge at all, that’s the battery compromised then. Didn’t even bother plugging it in, you can have it back!!
Just purchased the Qutest DAC in place of Musical Fidelity
Just purchased the Qutest DAC in place of using the DAC input of an expensive Musical Fidelity CD player. The result is immediately obvious, all aspects of the music are dramatically and clearly improved, far more than I thought was possible. Build quality is superb, I would highly recommend to anyone that requires a standalone DAC.
Its more than a Rumour
I bought Q acoustics m20 speakers but the bass was too much. Bought Chord Rumour X for them and quite frankly...listening to Alanis Morrisette acoustic music....the detail and pinpoint imagery is jawdropping!

Hugo TT2
Had to contact Chord regarding my new purchase, Hugo TT2, the nameplate was missing. Ed from the support team very quickly understood the issue and dealt with it rapidly. He wrote me an apology explaining how the company was in the midst of a factory upscale and refurbishment, which probably contributed to the error falling through the safety net. Another unit was immediately sent to Audio-T for me to exchange and I was pleasantly rewarded by Chord for my troubles. Problem resolved 10/10 for Chord.
Chord electronics are superb
Sent my beloved chord 1203 amp for a service and to be fixed.I am almost sure it came back new the chassis integra legs even a new chord badge. And wow the sound it’s never been better. This company looks after there customers like no other no matter your budget.I was genuinely shocked at the level of service.I will personally always invest in there products and hopefully move up in time.Because for quality of product and performance and for real quality customer service they are unbeatable.
Perfect customer service
I bought a 6 months old Chord Hugo2 on eBay recently. The sound was amazing. Easily the best DAC I had heard at under £2000 new. So musical, so clean, so energetic. Unfortunately, the seller hadn’t mentioned that the USB power socket was wobbly. I approached Chord HQ to help me fix it, and their approach to customer service was exemplary. Both Ed is support and Mitch on service were really helpful, and got the unit repaired under warranty in a matter of days and back to me swiftly. It felt like an old fashioned approach to looking after customers, and standing behind your products. It was a masterclass. I am now converted to Chord for life. Thank you Ed and Mitch.

I purchased a Qutest DAC a couple of months ago to add to my already amazing sound system. I have to say that I could not believe the difference it made. It's as if the musicians are playing right in front of you. My sister goes to the symphony all the time, and when she heard my system after adding this DAC, she said it was exactly like being at the symphony. My quest for the perfect music system is over. I am deeply grateful to the company for creating such an incredible product.
Chord Ultima 6 - Impressive beyond words
I have played hi end audio gear for 30 years and Ive listened and owned many good amplifiers. I also designed and restored tube amplifiers that I still enjoy doing these days.
Amplifiers <$10,000 I’ve never heard anything came close to Ultima 6, period.
I’ve owned Mark Levinson 335 for 10 years, and audited 432 in my audio room for two weeks, super powerful amps but not quite as clear and transparent as U6.
I’ve built 211 single ended class A2 33W with very high quality components, top notch Tango transformers from Japan, and quality Europe NOS tubes; 211 SE comes close to U6 in terms of simple vocal jazz music and somehow surpass U6 only this type of vocal music. Complex music like pop, orchestra, brass, soundtrack etc are all hands down to U6.
I’ve owned the latest gen 6 McIntosh 275 that I bought brand new since 2023. One of the legend of American tube gear. 275 performs well on all kind of music and is very sweet at vocal. It handle 80% of music I like without complaint. All tubes were upgraded to the top notch including GEC KT88 from 1960-1970, Western Electric 420a, Mullard Cv4024, Cv4033 etc that you can’t go wrong with. Still, when coming to extreme detail, it falls behind U6. When coming to complex music like movie soundtracks or orchestra, where heavy and fast punch and detail is U6 strength.
No need to mention other amps I have acquired, or built under $5K: McIntosh 240, 845SE, EL34PP, KT88PP, EL84 SE, EL84 PP, 2A3, 45, RCA monitor mono blocks from 1960, 300BSE, Ayre V3x, Electrocomponent, Audio Research 6550 PP, BAT integrated amp etc. you name it.
U6 surprised me in the following ways:
1. Super light weight, compact given its 180W@8W (300W + into my 4 ohm speakers) with cutting edge noise-suppression switching power tech which makes it so compact.
2. Incredible, jaw dropping detail that presents in not only high note, but midrange and low bass at 50-200hz, that I can hear the “feedback” of piano keyboard, lips / mouth opening closing sound in “The Very Thought of You” by Nicole Henry, and the fast bass control like in “Take Five” by David B band.
3. Powerful punch and extremely fast bass that you can feel all the detail without dragging. In “Gladiator” sound track the Wheat to the Battle, the vibe reminded me again how Russell Crowe played his victory Roman general leading the his troop.
4. Clean but warmth not harsh high note without compressing. U6 is a super high resolution amp. Yet it doesn’t mean it would overwhelm you with harsh T and S vocal, not with over exaggerated violin or trumpet note. U6 would NOT do that. It rounded the edge well for these high note and the cohesive listening experience from auditable range that I feel so relaxed but yet engaging that I can just put it on for hours and hours with all kind of music without fatigue. This is super important. This is how a high end gear should sound like and U6 does it very, very well.
My speakers are Dynaudio C2 Platinum and is current hungry and U6 serves it extremely well. My DACs are T+A 200 and MyTek Manhattan II which I take term to put them on for different tone. They get alone with U6 very well. My preamp is a hand built EF80/EF8010/EF184 drives 6AS7 cathode follower to Tamura 600ohm preamp output transformer that constantly connects to any amp I connect to. In this case, Ultima U6 and they apparently like each other very well.
I highly recommend if you have $10K budget range, Chord U6 is a very very good investment.

I recently sent in my Chord Dave in for repair as I bought it used and it wasn't working. Chord were absolutely brilliant in sorting everything at such incredibly low cost I was truly shocked. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also, there gear is second to none - incredible sounding.
Many thanks.
Mojo 2
Mojo 2. It brings back the joy of listening to music from Spotify + mobile phone. The Mojo just clean up the sound picture, it brings back a dynamic and detailed sound picture.
Qutest - service
I own a Qutest DAC, in a high end hifi set up, it’s well built and of very good sound quality, one BNC was playing up, so emailed Chord, thier communication was second to none and quick, and pleasant, I sent off, next day it was checked over and repaired and on its way back. In short a quality service , of a quality product. I’m not being paid for this just a very happy customer.
Love Mojo 2
Just such superb sound from my Mach 70 IEM’s.
Beautifully built and at 60 it’s great to have that childlike experience of getting a new toy.
Beautiful Qutest
Delightful sound from this tiny beauty. It beat many competitors at this price level or even higher.
My adventure with finding the perfect DAC for my system is over :)
Great sound when I first bought this…
Great sound when I first bought this few years ago but now not working so In my opinion should've lasted longer for the expensive outlay .. battery just drains when not in use. Fiio players amps etc. last ages and don't lose power when not in use . Shant be investing again...overrated and expensive
overwhelmed
In short terms I'm overwhelmed by the sound the Mojo2 provides after missing real hifi stuff for a couple of years. Headphones Grado SR325x. The design just different but very nice for me, really in love with this little box. Probably need the Poly.
Mixer feelings Poly
Dear members of team Chord. The Mojo 2 and the Poly are on board. The sound is superb. It's complicated to use. Regular failure and charging battery Poly difficult. Have to buy an extra charger (Ifi 5v), Poly regularly does not pick up WIFI. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app is the solution. GoFigure battery level differs from P-led. Leather case: the P and M LED bulbs are not visible - window too narrow. Okay dear people, so far my thinking. Kind regards, Eric van der Wal.
Support is Rubbish
Twice I emailed their support team, I had no reply on both questions. I sent the Chord Mojo 2 back due to my query being ignored.
