Surpassed our expectation!
We are very satisfied with this sous vide!! We have had it for a couple of years and we use it frequently. The App abs recipes are simple; it’s never failed us and the food always taste flavorful.

Excellent product Joule. It changed the way we cook at home. Chefsteps recipes are amazing and even if the ingredients are not exactly the same the directions provided will certainly improve the results of regular cooking.

Chefsteps is amazing
Chefsteps is amazing, there is no doubt. I wish they had more of the advanced level content that they used to post, and less things that feel like a commercial for Joule, but I get it.

I'm very happy with Chef Steps (and the wonderful Joule product). Chef Steps is filled with incredibly useful information that could easily be very dry but they keep things light and fun without skimping on the technical stuff.

The very best kitchen tool I own. Food cooked with item taste great and the steaks are incredibly tender. Controlled by your smart phone, you dont even need to be home for your food to cook. Even let's you know when it's done and will hold until you get home.

Very few cooking sites do a better job of presenting recipes. These guys do all the work so you don't have to. The Joule hardware is fantastic, easy to use and looks great.

Aggravating app; don't buy Joule.
The app, which one must use to operate the Joule, is filled with juvenile, lame attempts at humor that are very annoying. Clear, concise instructions, as in every cook book I have ever used, would be much preferable.

Love it! Easy to use and set up. Smaller size was very appealing to me and it has worked flawlessly in the 4 months I have had it. Cleaning is a breeze we have very hard water so I have cleaned the unit twice, very easy to do.
CON: Wish I would have purchased sooner.

My son bought me my Joule for Christmas ( I think it was more for him ) since then I use mine on a regular basis and the steaks are the best I have ever had even better than a 5 star steak house.

Trouble with pump for curculator
Joules is the third sous vide tool i have used. I am presently having trouble with the circulating pump. I did contact customer service and did as tild by using faq which provided a solution which worked temporarily. Last time i cooked it stopped again when food was added to water but I continued cooking. I have yet to see if it will work again and have not yet contacted customer service. I would like a phone number to talk to a live person. The tool is under one year's warranty. Not really happy about this problem.
