They are scammers and don’t fall for their lies. They tell you your ticket will be ready in 72 hrs and then cancel on you last mins. When I called. Just said “ sorry, sorry we can’t do anything for you

I booked a flight. They emailed me to tell me that before they book my flight, they need to talk with me. Tried to charge me $400 more for a $78 dollar ticket. I told them not to book it. to cancel before. Kathy Stewart told me that its too late that the ticket was booked. I have proof that it wasn't. I told her she is a scam artist, hung up and called my credit card company to notify them of this altercation. STAY AWAY!!!!! NOT WORTH THE EFFORT OR THE FRUSTATION.

They are fraud, never ever book from them, they even change the conversation and send the email according to there benefits

Booked a flight with Cheapflights.com for Christmas. Waited days and never received tickets or booking information. Tried calling, can't get a response or anyone on the phone. Already charged my credit card.

Oh my gosh. I've read two reviews and having the same problem. Booked with them for Christmas two days ago and no email, no bank charge and now texts. I called them and they said I was on standby. I am now on the phone with my bank to cancel my card. Do not book with them. They are a scam.

Against my better judgement, I attempted to book a flight with cheapflights.com for Christmastime. The site gives you a list of companies to book through and I chose Best Ticket Fare. I got the dates and times that I wanted. The price was about $700 cheaper than a flight I had booked on the United Airlines website. (that was the first red flag). I cancelled the more expensive flight and waited for an email from Best Ticket Fare. It never came.

I called them. They said it would take 2-3 hours, but the next day I still had not received an email and my credit card had not been charged. I called again and was told that my flight is a standby flight and non-refundable. I could see that this was never going to happen so I hung up and called my credit card company. They advised me to close my card and get a new one, in case a charge comes in from Best Ticket Fare, so I did that. This company needs to be closed down! Booking flights is stressful enough without dealing with this kind of fraud.

I purchased a flight from them and they immediately charged my card without booking a flight. When I called to inquire what the issue was, they said I had to pay more money to finish the booking, when the booking specifically said I would not be charged without a flight being booked. I had to go through my credit card to reverse the charges, and a few days later I had fraudulent charges on my card, and had to close the account. I did not use this card recently for any other new transactions and am sure it was this transaction that led to the fraudulent charges. Stay away from these people.

One of their partner companies, called TopFlightFares.com, tried to scam me! I booked a flight through TopFlightFares.com (Booking #169xxx) after being directed there from CheapFlights.com. They had my credit card and then they booked it, but they also wanted to "call to confirm" (red flag!), and this is where the scam occurs. They say my flight no longer has any seats and they can put me on a different flight for an additional charge. When I said "no thanks, please cancel", they became belligerent and told me to read the fine print and that I would still be charged. I had a specific flight booked at a specific price, so if they cannot deliver as promised, then the deal is off - this is basic contract law! Luckily I had already placed a hold on my card. There is a Reddit thread detailing this scam and it happened to me exactly as this thread described. I trusted Cheapflights.com to make legitimate referrals to reputable sites that only book available flights at the actual price, and not scammers looking to change/cancel bookings and charge extra. Until they can verify that their partner sites are reputable companies, I will never be able to trust CheapFlights again.

Anything purchased through these guys is a scam.
Everything they mention on their site is a massive lie. They could care less that they're ripping consumers off.
Just a disgusting, crappy site full of liars and theives, making empty promises so they come out the winner. They do not refund you, even though it says "full refund, if you cancel within 24hrs".

100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. These people make you pay a price that is unreasonably very low initially. They call you 2-3 days after saying they couldn’t get the promised flight or whatever and that you have to pay $100 or so more. Then they get you basic economy with that new “average price” that would’ve probably been economy if you otherwise booked it directly from the airline. You will then get a call 2 days before your actual flight demanding you pay for travel insurance. The guy seemed rather upset I didn’t opt for travel insurance. Mind you, they pocket like half of this. They try to finesse more out of you to make more commission.

Although the price in the airline website was the half, they got twice amount.

Too bad I can’t give them zero stars. This site is a fraud !!! Please stay away. I wish I read their reviews before I purchased tickets with them. I booked a flight, got no confirmation for another 3 days. Could not get through to talk to someone on the phone for three days, sent several emails, no response whatsoever. Finally got a phone call, the agent told me one of my two tickets is on stand by and there is no guarantee I will get it unless I upgrade and pay extra ( more than I paid for tickets). I told them to refund my money and they said no. I will call my credit card company right away. Sooo mad!!!!!

booked a flights that was $165 less than American Airlines website. Never got a confirmation but a phone call from someone with a thick accent that said was I good with the "restrictions" like no luggage allowed (there is always a carryon okay with AA), and they can change my date at their whim. I told them refund my money and they said no but they would upgrade me for $680. (the ticket I eventually got from AA was $446. I told them they were a bunch of crooks and I was going to call my credit card company right away. I beat them to the punch so did not get charged, but it shook me up. I had to freeze my credit card so these sheisters could not charge me.

Tarifassideal are notorious scammers, employing bait-and-switch tactics.

These guys are horrible. After purchasing tickets months before our flight, and purchasing the insurance, we fell victim to the GREAT WINDOWS Update in July our flight was cancelled and we ended up having to settle for a refund that is 400 dollars less. They are crooks, thieves and incompetent in customer service. Do NOT make the mistake of using this company. They will find a way to steal money from your family. One star is way too much to give these crooks.

TOTAL FRAUDS!!!

Booked a flight. Reasonable rate. Cool. But don't get a confirmation nbr. Hour later lady calls and still won't give conformation nbr. But charged the credit card. Then if we have luggage we can't bring it cause we got a discounted price. And can't pick our seats. If we want cwrtsin seats it will cost us 240. Each for the upgrade. This is a one way ticket.
I said I have to bring one check in bag. Ahe told me if I pay for the upgrade I can pick the seat and bring luggage.i tell hwr we'll cancel the reservation. She tells me that I can't cancel.it is a non refundable. I sais well give me my conformstion number she says that she can't at this time. Not till the day before we fly out which is Nov. 21st. Today is Oct. 16.
So what do we do now.??? This place is a rip.off. I have notified the credit card company. I would NOT recommend this place.

Ordered my seats in November 2023 for flights to Italy on later September 2024 and my wedding

All of a sudden the "airline" accidentally deleted the booking for 8 of us

He made a fake attempt to rectify the situation and I had to cancel the wedding

I will be filing a complaint with the BBB in California

My wife tried to book an overseas flight with this company. The website froze up and she got no confirmation of the booking for two days. By that time, she had rebooked the flight directly with the airline. They would not refund our money and she had to negotiate to get a partial credit back. Total scammers and I will never use them again. Beware!
