I enrolled with CCFS in the evening (soiree) course.
When doing the placement test, it got me on B2, when I can't speak French. I, therefore, had to go in person to speak to the secretariat (I work 9 to 5 and their opening hours are not flexible at all - they close at 4:30 pm sharp) for them to change me to A2.
When starting the course, we are told that we don't have a fixed teacher and that someone else would cover for the first couple of classes. Of course, the interim teacher couldn't tell us to buy a book or give us a syllabus as she wouldn't be the fixed teacher.
Finally, you are told after only 6 classes that they will go on holiday for a whole week, so you lose 6 hours of your already short course.

Very unenthousiastic environment, teacher difficult to understand. Plus no one bothered to tell me that they changed locations... So when I received an email saying my results could be picked up, I went 3 hours out of the way to the old location...

I contacted CCFS several times to ask for support but noone answered. I tried to contact via phone and via e-mail. (contactATccfs-sorbonne.fr)

The course is very professional. The teacher is highly experienced, patient and knows her work well. she explains everything clearly and repeats as many times as needed. The class is well organized with very good communication and good pace. This is the best class i took in French.

When I aske ask some questions or have some troubles, The respond from the center is rapid and clear.

Just to be clear, the staff is professional and the test are well organised. But...

PROBLEM
I was looking for the TCF exam. I did the registration via the website, which provides unclear information. So, the day of the exam, me and few other people discovered that we subscribed to the wrong exam...
Moreover, I even asked for help via email before signing up, but I received no help.

RESULT
I had to pay the exam two times and wait for the further session to do it again.
When I explained the issue to the customer service, while they were available and nice with me, they provided no other solution than tell me to register for the second time.

Every thing was easy, they go back to you quickly.

The class was hard to follow and I asked for changing for 2 times but no replies obtained.

It's a very nice experience!

I highly recommend the one-month course. I learned a lot about grammar and phonetics during this month. I clearly can see my improvement at the end of the class! Even though the classes were held remotely, the professors still managed to deliver high-quality classes. Thank you for the great course!

No comunication about the upcoming dates of tests, shaping groups, etc. After test is completed there is no information about when the results will be communicated, no info on future steps.
To be honest I didn't expect such a low level of support from Sorbonne.

I recently had my TCF SO (Test de Connaissance du Français Sur Ordinateur) exam at the CCFS (don't know my grade yet - they told us that it usually takes about 10 days to evaluate Expression oral/écrit parts)

Nice building, very friendly examinator.

Contrary to what was written in the "convocation" email, headphones were provided (and anyway I would not be able to plug in my 3.5mm jack, because they have USB headphones).

I signed on for this course to start in April, and payed 500 euros for the inscription. Then I received an email that there was a technical problem and therefore could not attend the course on the enrolled season and could ask for my refund. After a month I have not received any answer to all of my emails or calls. You cant trust this site!!!

I paid 500 € for a course that was unavailable. They said they will give the refund as it was a problem in their system. After many emails and calls I have not received any answer or refund.

Super!!! Mme Muriel et Mme Veronique—the best teachers.
