Very likeable, professional, and reliable guys

Caversham Moves were great. I had them come and pack for me and then I moved the next day. There was nothing that was too much trouble for them. They were both efficient and very good humoured. On the removal day they dismantled my beds and then built them again at the new house all the boxes were well labelled and put in the correct rooms. Five stars well deserved.

We really couldn’t have managed without Caversham Moves…. As soon as Miles and Kay turned up we could feel ourselves relax. And so appreciated Robin’s calm logistical brain and Dean just getting on with what needed to be done (especially dealing with the palm tree!)…. The guys were professional, courteous and absolutely smashed it (figuratively, not literally). Thank you Caversham Moves!!

They did everything for the move, an all day job with 6 flights of stairs, with cheerful, efficient and thoughtful professionalism and expertise. I cannot recommend Caversham Moves and their team highly enough.

We needed to move all our big and clunky downstairs furniture out of the house to allow extensive renovation work to take place. We didn’t know how long the work would take. Josh and his team were brilliant - everything went in a flash, into storage with full flexibility on the return, which we arranged a short notice. A great local business offering both value and professional service run by a very enterprising and well organised Josh. No hesitation in recommending.

Caversham Moves made the stressful experience of a house move so much better for us and the team only left our new house once all the beds and baby cot were set up despite how late in the day it was.

All the personnel who assisted us with the move have been kind, friendly and utmost professional but we cannot ever express just how grateful we are in particular to Jake and Gary who were incredible both during the pack and during the move. There was nothing that was too much trouble for them, nothing that fazed them, they were attentive, personable, lovely, extremely good company.

The team was outstanding. They were all well organised, quick, efficient, strong and most importantly overflowing in precious positive energy. It really took the stress out of the move, knowing they were in charge. They were experienced in everything from budgeting space, packing and then moving and assembling anything needed. It really was like entrusting your home to good friends who wanted to help and make you happy. The few extra quid it costs compared to its cheaper rivals, is totally worth it. Our move was from Earley, Reading to a small village near Tavistock, Devon.
We asked for a packing and moving service that required a team for three whole days.
We were impressed from the very start with the owner's professionalism. When he came to give us a quote we had some worries which included: moving a piano, moving a large quantity of plant pots and our biggest concern the narrow Devonshire lanes that removal lorries would need to negotiate. He was very clear and reassuring explaining procedures and showing photos to demonstrate how his company would be able to deal with these issues. Our main reason for choosing Caversham Moves was that the company has business contacts in Devon and was able to call on these to help with any problems that might arise.
The move was very successful – everything in the house was packed beautifully and we had no damages. One of the team took note of items that are particularly valuable to us and ensured that these were handled with extra special care.
On the day of the move our car broke down in the garage of the property in Earley – while we waited for help from RAC , The team drove down to Tavistock, collected the keys for our new house from the Estate Agents and set up our essential furniture before heading to their hotel. He kept in contact with us throughout the day, reassuring us they had everything in hand.
We found Caversham moves team charming and professional. All our new neighbours and the estate agent have commented on how polite they were, we thoroughly agree.

The Caversham Moves team worked their socks off to move my family of 6. They really put a hard shift in and did so with great professionalism and personability - just the nicest bunch of guys! Nothing was too much for them. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

I cannot give ten stars but would if I could!
I have recently had to move from my family home as I was getting divorced and so this was an emotional time. The gentlemen that completed my move could not have been more kind or accomodating!

I was taking on a probate property that needed a lot of work. Before I moved in the gentlemen removed carpet for me removing a huge job straight away!

There were issues opening doors as keys were missing in the new home and the garden was very overgrown. They actually strimmed some of the garden so that I could access the back garden and get into the garage. And when they were unable to lock the garage as the electric key fob was missing, they closed it from inside and then climbed over the garage roof.

None of this needed to be carried out by Caversham Moves but they just went ahead and got on with it!

Not only that, they were all polite, friendly and very professional at all times.

I am exceptionally grateful and will be singing your praises when anyone is looking for removal companies. I am very glad I found you. Thank you so much. You went above and beyond!
