Unacceptable customer service and no dispatch

Placed an order on April 5th. Over 6 working days later, I still had not received any dispatch confirmation or tracking information, despite the website stating that orders are processed within one working day.

After chasing, I received a brief and unhelpful response in Italian, with no clear update on the status of my order. All subsequent follow-up emails were ignored.

Due to the lack of communication and failure to fulfil the order, I have had to initiate a chargeback.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this retailer.

Avoid

Two issues that the company will not resolve from my order worth over €1,200.
1. My order confirmation confirms my order includes two black tyres but I received two coloured ones. They will not accept them back and state its my expense ro return them which is contrary to EU consumer law where the product description must be accurate. Im still trying to get this resolved.
2. Also, I only noticed this after I placed my order, more fool me. When I selected my country and language, there is a large promotion scrolling across saying free delivery on orders over €99. As part of the follow up on the wrong tyres in 1. above, I request that the 18.50 shipping charge would be returned only to be told there is another section on the website that details(EU) delivery charges. So two completely contradictatory and misleading pieces of information. One part says free and another part charges.
The experience of follow communication is the worst I've ever had. Very short emails in Italian, sometimes a mail with only a screen print of their website which contradicts another part of their website. Really poor experience. I often shop on well known German and Dutch websites whose service is generally excellent. This company is unprofessional and horrible to deal with. However, I will continue until I get satisfaction.

never again

i have never left a review before but i just had this time. i ordered something 5 weeks ago still not arrived, i have wrote numerous emails (to every email address i could find associated with the company), submitted queries through the website and no answers. worst retailer i have ever dealt with, i'm still not sure whether it is a scam website or not!!!!

Ordered a bike in May told 2 months. End of July no bike. Waited till October. They offered to give me my money back. Waited for the refund till the end of October. Did not respond to Whatsapp on many ocassions. Hired a lawyer and then they returned the money

The order arrived with missing and wrong parts

The order arrived with missing parts, and some items were not as described. When I reached out for help, the seller refused to assist, suggesting that I might have lost the missing items myself. They also claimed the substituted parts work just as well as the ones I originally ordered, despite the fact that I paid for higher-quality components.

Avoid

Avoid. Colnago C64 arrived with used BB, stickers peeling off, damage under paintwork to name a few. Email communication appalling and eventually agreed to return but I had to organise and pay shipping. They then refused to pay import duty back into Italy (from GB and they could have claimed back VAT) so cost me £1000 to return. Serial number removed from bike too - so are they fake? Then took 3 months for replacement to finally arrive. Utter disgrace. If in UK avoid at all costs.

Spent over €5000 at the store on bike…

Spent over €5000 at the store on bike parts, including some Campagnolo wheels. Had a problem with one of the wheels and, despite emailing them several times, they have chosen to ignore me (to rectify the situation would probably cost them €5). I won't spend any more of my money there, and will simply leave them a review instead.

This is not reliable bike shop

This is not a reliable bike shop. I placed an order for Shimano Dura-Ace set but received the Rear Derailleur w/o the hanger and two screws. I received the shipment on 9th July and till today I did not receive the missing part. I sent them a few emails, called them (the guy did not speak English) so my friend called them (she speaks Italian very well) but they still did not reply to my emails. Meantime I had to order the missing part from an English eashop for 88,-EUR (including transport). That was my first and last order at cavalierebici.it. I do not recommend it.

Big lie

Lie upon lie.
Ordered a cycling computer with GPS. Got delivered another model without GPS. Wrote to them what it was about. Had to send a picture and sent it as a file. 3 times I sent the picture but they couldn't open the file! Then sent the picture as a regular email. Then they demanded a "number" that should be on the package. They couldn't use it as it was indistinct.
Wrote a last email complaining about the poor service and that I suspected them of sending the wrong computer on purpose.
They admitted this when the ordered one was discontinued. But I could keep it sent without GPS as it was a newer and better model.
So I had to accept that they had filled me with lies for 3 weeks and that it was ok to send an item that I hadn't ordered. So there ends the story.
So don't buy from them!

DO NOT USE WEBSITE

DO NOT USE WEBSITE! Ordered a small part for my ebike battery, I paid more for the delivery than the item but as I couldn’t find it anywhere in the UK I purchased it from this shower, no sign of my order, well over a month now and no reply from their customer service team who I’ve contacted twice.

Incompetence and arrogance

I ordered spokes for my wheels and a helmet.
I cannot say a bad word about the helmet, but the spokes is where it all begins. Not even complaining now to wait one whole week for the package to be delivered in the same country.
First, they have sent me one spoke instead of set of 4. Secondly, spoke for the wrong side of the wheel.
After contacting the customer support (which was already difficult) sending multiple pictures and explaining which side of the wheel is which, in response I was told that the spoke is for correct side..
So, of course guys were simply wrong and I had to send another photos from other websites or photos of original packaging (with P/N and product codes) where it could be clearly seen who is right... Of course they were wrong.
Never do the same mistake as I did and don't get cheated by those guys.

Horrible customer service

I ordered 6 packs of motor oil for my scooter and I only got 5. One of the packs was open/used. I tried to contact them but I did not get any response. I contacted PayPal and they told me to return my order what I did. Cavalierebici rejected the packet so it came back to me. I will never ever buy anything there. This is no customer service!

Good service and fast delivery

I had some problems at first to register a Swedish address, but when that finally was fixed, it only took 5 days from ordering to receiving my package in Sweden. Very competitive prices!
