I got a Core carry-on which I took on a 3 week multi-country trip around Europe, and it was absolutely wonderful. Really well made, takes a lot of weight, and even with a 7-8kg backpack on top it stays easy to roll. It was such a good experience that I then ordered a check-in suitcase as well. There was a hiccup with delivery, and the customer care team dealt with it masterfully. Very happy overall!

After my initial order was lost, the team promptly reacted and resent it; it was delivered within 2 days.

The 72-Hour Backpack (leather) is beautifully designed and for the most part very functional with all of its features. However, these are all ruined by the odour of the material used. Even after airing for 3 weeks after purchasing the rancid odour (reminds me of a wet dog smell) is still present. Not entirely sure what it will take to lift the odour, but as of right now I may just return the bag.

I love the customer service as well as the product. The wallet looks much better in person. Looks classy. I am a happy customer.

This beautiful leather bags stinks! The dust cover and fabric lining of the bag have a funky sour smell. I tried taking the bag out of the packaging to air it out, but it's no use. I cannot give this as a gift, it smells so bad. I'm so disappointed because it's a beautiful leather backpack, and now I'd don't have a Christmas gift for my husband.

I purchased a cabin bag early in the morning. By mid morning the same bag was on sale at a considerable discount. I contacted customer service and they offered the same deal to me. Brilliant.

It's quite a nice bag but has a very odd smell that doesn't seem to go away.

Carl Friedrik products are absolutely first class and their customer service is the best I’ve experienced in as long as I can remember.

Over the years, I’ve purchased the carry-on and check-in luggage set, Palissy briefcase, Palissy weekender, multiple wallets, Bowen backpack and most recently, the city hopper backpack. The products have aged beautifully and have kept their original shape, resisting scuffing and damage through multiple flights, vacations and business trips. I prefer the cognac color and receive compliments from travelers and colleagues constantly. These items really do speak for themselves and are, in my opinion, made better than some unnamed high end competitors that I USED to buy from.

I’ve interacted with their customer service team on two occasions and the responses were provided same day and answered my questions or solved my issue.

Knowing that Carl Friedrik products are beautiful AND durable is great but having customer support available before, during and after purchase makes all the difference.

Great experience, great commas and quick delivery

I'm loving this thin, lightweight wallet. I have a backpack from them I've had for a few years and it looks even better now with some character, I suspect this wallet will hold up just as well. Carl Friedrik does have some great quality leather goods.

A superb company, their products are stylish, durable and well made and always get compliments from other people. In addition to this their customer service is exceptional, many others could learn from them and this ensures loyalty and encourages word of mouth. I’m incredibly impressed and I own quite a few of their products now, including the briefcase, carry on case and check-in case. Very easy to spot at baggage reclaim.

I pre-ordered the new Trunk, and although they informed me there’d be a slight delay, I mentioned that this could mean it wouldn’t arrive in time for my move abroad. Carl Friedrik’s team was incredible—Magda, in particular, made sure my order would arrive on time for my big move. The luggage arrived in time, and I couldn’t be happier.

The quality is outstanding. It’s feels premium and has thoughtful details like leather handles and the complimentary packing cubes add even more value. If you’re looking for a product that’s as reliable as the company behind it, Carl Friedrik won’t disappoint. Highly recommend!
