Same as pretty much everyone else....paid for a one off search and ended up with them trying to take a monthly subscription payment. I emailed them at the address provided asking them to cancel my subscription and received an auto-generated reply saying they'd reply within 24 hours....they didn't reply in that time and then tried to take another payment. Do not use this company.

I want to emphasise the professionalism and the empathy from the Carjudge team.
I paid for a car assessment, and I didn't notice that I had to cancel the trial and 7 days. So, after I got the monthly subscription taken from my account, I called to cancel and ask for a refund of the subscription. Even though I was already past the 7-day cancellation time per their terms and conditions. They were very quick to reply and very reasonable to open an exemption and still refund my payment. I spoke to LAURE, what a lovely person.
Apart from getting a great car assessment, I also learned a lesson about professionalism. Thanks, carjudge.

I needed a check on a new car i was…
I needed a check on a new car i was buying so got carjudge to do the checks.
I paid for 1 check but didn't realise I was subscribing after 7 days before cancelling.
Carjudge took 25 pounds from account but after I noticed in bank account and one email to carjudge they reimbursed me straight away..
Now that's how a decent company does business.

Ok service but make sure there’s no subscription
I was planning on buying a car and chose CarJudge to confirm various factors about the car, I was looking to buy. I saw that it was a relatively small fee for the check, I think £2.95 or so.The report came in immediately and I thought that was the end of the matter. Lo and behold I have since been charged 2 separate payments of £25.95, even though I haven’t conducted any further checks. On contacting them I was told that I had subscribed to them, No I hadn’t. Apparently as the initial fee is quite low, smaller than most others, if not cancelled you are subscribed to do further checks. This practice could be misleading if not checked thoroughly . The report itself was ok and never showed any warning signs, which was reassuring . I subsequently emailed CarJudge and explained everything, they responded quickly and thankfully I have been refunded. Moral of the story is read the fine print.

Absolute scam, the report that you pay for are nothing like the sample reports, you can get what these scammers provided from any website for free, then to top it all, they fraudulently taken £25.99 from my account.
