The reason Car Gem has 4 stars is because the salesmen write their own reviews. Our salesman literally took our phone, scanned the QR code and wrote his own review!! I purchased a nice motor, BUT there was missing bottles from the GardX pack, I have received 2 x parking tickets for my old car which I part exchanged and only just rec'd confirmation the log book has been amended tot he new driver, even though they sole my old car back August! Not professional!
Everything went very smooth and calmly, all my questions were sorted out quickly and was happy with all the service, would like to thank Dirran for my car I purchased, quickly responses and easy to talk too.
Diren was great, help me with all the paperwork. 100% recommend

I would respectfully say - DO NOT PURCHASE HERE! I went there after confirming an appointment. My mechanic turned up before me, which scared them. He confirmed the car was jump started in that moment! I find, dealerships who hear a woman's voice always think they can get away with m-der! My mechanic confirmed that the gearbox was on its way out, the scratches weren't covered properly (they weren't in the advert), there is corroding underneath and there is a leaking issue next to the engine... When this information was put to the company, only one staff member took it seriously. Another staff member said 'don't believe your mechanic, they all say that' - I said 'what does he have to gain?' - and was met with mumbling... They KNOW the cars are dodgy but lie online anyway, and I can confirm this as the car is back on sale online WITH NO WARNINGS EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW IT'S NOT A SAFE CAR!! The 5 star reviews here I would question...

I decided the car wasn't for me because it was not like you suggested in the ad - in fact, it was in terrible condition, whether you keep on the lot or not - the ad is a lie. I decided not to buy from a company that didn't have the full service history as promised. I decided not to purchase from a company who displayed obvious signs of dishonesty. I would say AVOID THEM. At all costs!

Oh Dear. Have to agree with the negative reviewers the customer service level at CarGem is incredibly bad.
I made an email enquiry that was ignored. When I followed up with additional email I was advised that paperwork and full details were not at hand as the car was “new in” but I would be contacted when the relevant (general) information was available. Days passed without contact. I emailed again to politely chase. No response. I then sent a very polite chaser asking if they had received my previous questions to be told that the car had been reserved. For clarity the car is still showing as available both on AutoTrader and CarGems own website and would even allow me to reserve it. I had genuine interest but as soon as I started asking about number of owners and service history I was ignored until lied to. Annyl was the Sales Executive that was dealing with my enquiry, I’m sorry but far too many red flags here.

I purchased a car from this dealership on the 6th of September, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. I was told I would receive the V5 within seven days, but to date, I am still waiting — meaning I also still don’t have the car.
Although sales team were lovely in person on day of purchase since there has been little proactive communication from the sales team, despite being told by after-care that they would reach out.
I’m left chasing updates while struggling without a vehicle. This has been especially difficult as I have three children under 4years old and I care for my mother, who relies on me to take her to and from appointments.
The only "compensation" offered has been that they will deliver the car once the V5 arrives — even though the dealership is only 15 minutes from my home.
Frankly, if I had known this would be the level of service, I would never have purchased a car here.
Very poor after-sales service and no sense of responsibility toward their customers. I would strongly caution others before buying from this dealership unfortunately.
